Beautiful stay in Tarn

What a delightful house and a fabulous location. The very attentive owners have presented their lovely property in a charming rural style with great care and thought inside and out. There's plenty of space in the house and no fewer than 4 patios and seating areas in the very large garden. The swimming pool is a short walk along the very quiet road and was perfect for our three year old twins to enjoy after trips out in the morning. This is a beautiful region with medieval hilltop villages and castles to explore, and markets full of wonderful local produce to sample. The property is ideally located for these and the nearby city of Albi which is well worth a visit. We even managed a day trip to Carcassonne and the Black Mountains in the south of Tarn. A super holiday ad we'd love to return some day

Nous avons été accueillis par les propriétaires qui nous ont présenté les lieux et donné toutes les informations nécessaires pour passer un bon séjour. La maison était très propre et le jardin très agréable.

Un séjour sous le signe de la tranquillité et du bien-être

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable du début jusqu’à la fin. Les propriétaires charmants nous ont très bien accueillis avec visite complète et détaillée du gîte. Ce lieu est idéal pour passer un séjour au calme et se ressourcer. Il est confortable, propre, très bien équipé et est pourvu d’un jardin très agréable et ombragé. La situation géographique est assez pratique pour les visites de Cordes-sur-Ciel, Gaillac, Albi, Saint-Antonin Nobleval et j’en passe. Et pour les voitures électriques, une borne de recharge est disponible sur le parking du gîte. En un mot, parfait !

Delightful stone house

The house has everything you might want except a corkscrew perhaps. Good bed & bedding, terrific shower. All the rooms are large and lots of seating is available. Three terraces give a fantastic selection for any time of day.. My only issue was that I thought it was in a village when in fact it is on a farm. My stay was great and Franck was a charming host.

Wonderful gite

Probably the nicest gîte we have stayed in, and we have been in many in France. The garden was fabulous, with several options to enjoyi both sun and shade, a lovely place to eat as well as comfortable lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, just the sound of birds.. Comfortable bed, excellent bathrooms. Delightful hosts who have thought of everything to make your stay just perfect. Very nice pool a short walk from gîte, very welcome as it was over 30 degrees. Très bon emplacement dans un cadre idyllique

Très bon accueil par les propriétaires. Plein de bons conseils sur les visites et excursions à faire. Le gîte est spacieux et très bien equipé. Décoré et entretenu avec soin. Le jardin est immense et laisse la possibilité aux plus petits de s'y aérer longuement. Très grande piscine couverte en prime. L'emplacement : 10 minutes de Cordes, 25 d'Albi, des vignobles à 5 minutes à visiter. Le tour dans un environnement calme propice au repos.

Wunderschöner Urlaub im Land der Sonnenblumen

Wunderschön dekoriertes und gemütliches Ferienhaus Auch der Garten ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet und bietet je nach Tageszeit viele schöne Sitzplätze Es hat an nichts gefehlt und wir haben uns sofort zuhause gefühlt Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und dennoch zentral um all die wunderschönen Orte zu besuchen Isabell und Franck haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen Wir durften sogar im nahen Garten Gemüse ernten Auch der Poolbereich ist sehr schön und toll ausgestattet Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Week in a charming retreat

We had a fabulous week staying in Franck and Isabelle’s charming cottage. The cottage is just glorious from the outside with beautiful gardens. It is wonderfully decorated and extremely well equipped with everything you need for your stay. I would not hesitate to come again and highly recommend it. It is close to the wonderful bastide town of Cordes-sur-Ciel and the lovely St Antonin Noble Val with its lively and fun Sunday market - neither to be missed. A peaceful, heavenly place.

Très bonne impression.

Très jolie maison ombragée. Belle décoration. Très grand terrain et calme absolu. Piscine couverte très agréable avec préau équipé pour repas près de l'eau. Propriétaires sympathiques et accueillants. 2 bémols. Une plaque électrique à 2 foyers suffisante pour nous (2 personnes) mais sûrement un peu juste si le gîte est complet (6 personnes) et une douche avec un debit dérisoire et un écoulement en rapport. Une fois ces petits problèmes réglés ce sera 5 étoiles sans problème.

oase van rust

Een heerlijke plek om lekker tot rust te komen. De druiven hangen boven je hoofd, de rust om je heen is weldadig, de mooiste dorpjes van Frankrijk zijn in de buurt en als het warm is, kun je heerlijk afkoelen in het zwembad op loopafstand. Kortom aanbevelenswaardig.

Nous avons aimé cette jolie location pour son calme et le chant des cigales. La grande piscine bien entretenue, (partagée avec un autre gîte) a été particulièrement appréciée pendant la semaine de canicule. Le Tarn est une très belle région au milieu des vignes. Beaucoup à visiter (Albi, Gaillac, St Antonin Noble Val...), mais la voiture s'impose. Si vous aimez le vin blanc, nous vous conseillons le "domaine Plageolles" à Cahuzac sur Vère. Si vous êtes plutôt vin rouge, le "domaine de la Ramaye" à Sainte Cécile d'Alvès est très bien. Nous avons également apprécié la visite guidée du château de Mauriac (atypique car retapé aux goûts du propriétaire Artiste Peintre). Karine et Vincent du 95
