Enjoyed our time, the house was great. No major issues. The small refrigerator in the basement wasn’t working and someone arrived to take a look at it within an hour of the email being sent. We ended up leaving early because of hurricane Erin, weren’t sure what to expect.

Love 70 Steps

Beautiful home, perfect set up for our family ranging from grandparents to young families with toddlers to young adults. Kitchen is super well stocked with gadgets, pots, pans, glassware, dishes. We cooked all week and loved it. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Fantastic Week

We enjoyed our stay at 70 Steps. It comfortably fit 3 families (13 total people). The house was immaculate upon arrival - both inside and out. The king beds (2 of them) are super comfy. We cooked several nights and the kitchen had plenty of utensils and supplies. The elevator was handy for bringing groceries up to the kitchen. The walk to the beach took a couple minutes. You do climb some steps and have to walk over a dune, and then back down some steps to get on the beach, but the walk was not far at all. Plenty of parking for 4 cars. The pool is on the smaller side and perfect for cooling off. It is not a diving pool, so be aware of that. This was out first trip to Corolla and the house made our vacation extra memorable. Thank you!

This was a wonderful property and we had a great stay. Can't give it a 5, but I'd do 4.5 if I could! Elevator was great and a super benefit for my husband and me (the grandparents) as we were both having mobility issues. We were able to manage the stairs over the dunes though-- in part because we didn't have to trudge the ones at the house all the time. Easy walk to the beach-access walkway, as well as to the community pool and tennis/pickleball nets. Loved how the dining table accommodated the 12-13 of us. We used the rental credit for four bikes, and they were well used. Downsides: Toilets not all cleaned when we arrived; I wondered if it had been vacant for awhile, because I know toilet bowls can get rings around water line when there's no one using them for awhile. Suggestion: Cleanliness should be checked by rental agent.It was great to have room around the dining table for all of us, and I wished there were sufficient chairs on the deck that we might have all sat around out there together.

Wonderful week away!

The property was perfect for our family get together! We loved the attention to details; switches labeled, hangers in closets, laundry baskets in each room, cabinets and drawers labeled!!! Thank you for providing such a beautiful vacation home!!!

Fabulous place for Spring Break

The pool was heated perfectly, the hot tub was wonderful, the elevator was very helpful! We had 8 people very comfortable! The only complete had was the beds were on the firmer side.

Awesome beach house close to beach

Beautiful beach house with ocean views . We loved house close the beach access was. Also, enjoyed the pool table and hot tub every night. The layout and elevator were definitely a plus. Thank you for being pet friendly too. We would definitely stay here again.

Spring break stay

Enjoyed our time at the house very much . Would suggest any seniors staying please be careful in the showers. Suggest bringing a mat . Would return again !!!

Ideal Location

This house had the perfect layout for our family of 9 and an ideal location. Literally steps to the beach and it was great to ride our bikes to town so we didn’t have to worry about parking. The property was very clean upon arrival and both check in and check out was a breeze. We look forward to renting this property again in the future.

Excellent

The house was beautiful and everyone was comfortable. It was close to the beach (the steps to the beach were pretty high though. If we rent again we will use the beach set up service!) The pool was well maintained. I was surprised that there were so many books and games at the house! We brought our own but next time we wont have to! We had a great time!

Lovely and spacious home. Very well-equipped kitchen. Only suggestion is to add some rockers or lounge chairs on the middle level deck and an umbrella at the pool for shade. House was very clean and maintained nicely. Credit for beach gear rental was definitely appreciated.

70 Steps

Everything was perfect. We highly recommend this place and plan to go back. Elevator was such a plus for our Mother and also for groceries. In case people are curious, there are are handful of beach chairs at the house (I think 6 or 7).

Great property in Corolla

The house was very clean and well equipped in the kitchen, which was great because we cooked in a lot. It is close to the beach but there are stairs up and down to get there. The one concern we had was the construction next door. They started early in the morning. Overall it was a wonderful location and a very nice place to stay.

Seventy Steps/Ocean Sands

Family had a lovely week at this VRBO. Kitchen was extremely organized. House was clean, pool was lovely, and we enjoyed the hot tub many times. And I am REALLY picky about hot tubs as a result of being in Microbiology (I love the smell of chlorine!). We had beautiful views from the deck. We saw the local fox hunting in the lot next door. Overall, it was an enjoyable and restful birthday celebration for my husband and brother.
