Beautiful, A True Gem

This was a wonderful place. It was so well equipped and generously supplied. We have never seen a rental so well and thoughtfully supplied, we wanted for nothing. Stefano and Christina were wonderful hosts and the apartment was lovely. We enjoyed the terrace overlooking the Adriatic every afternoon after sightseeing the charming towns. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone and we would love to stay here again.

Wonderful House above the Adria coast

We loved the House, especially the 2 amazing Roof Tops. The town is lovely and we enjoyed the Restaurants and the view on the Little Mountain. Stefano was amazing, he helped us in any way and made our stay really Special. Starting with a filled fridge.

Incredible views and hospitality

Stefano kindly welcomed us upon arrival and was a wonderful host throughout our stay! He was easy to contact if we had any questions and supplied fruits, pasta, coffee, and more, which was a very thoughtful gesture! The views from the rooftop terrace were incredible, one of the many highlights from our trip to Italy! Thanks Stefano!

Beautiful historic house near the ocean

We absolutely loved staying at Casa Marola! It’s a gorgeous house in a small hilltop village, with lots of traditional features and charming details. There’s a cosy lounge, an extremely well-equipped kitchen, and two big bedrooms. But what makes it extra special are the two roof terraces with panoramic views of the ocean and the countryside, even all the way to San Marino. Stefano was a friendly, generous and communicative host, and supplied the house with some delicious food for our meals. We enjoyed exploring San Bartolo Park and the beach at Gabicce Mare. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!

Amazing

This property overlooks the region and access to its two terraces allows us to have an overview of this region. You can also admire incredible sunsets nearby. You like to cook know that the kitchen is not only well equipped, you have all thé good you need to prepare a good meal of pasta, or a breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Thanks to Stefano and Cristina for this memorable stay. Arrivederci

Great place to stay and host beyond compare

We really enjoyed our stay at Cass Marola, a home with history and charm on the top of Gabbice Monte. It has a lovely roof top terrace with beautiful views. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and well cared for, and the kitchen was extremely well-equipped and stocked with everything we needed. Stefano and his daughter were the best hosts, even providing us with fruit, wine and groceries on our arrival! They also went the extra mile by providing us with tips on things to see and do, and emailing us recipes. We've never seen this attention to detail and level of service in any of the places we have stayed at before. Highly recommended!

Fantastic

Stayed for 2 nights. The house was not what expected, it was much more. Loved the look and feel of this house. The attention towards detail can be seen everywhere. Looks like loving hands restored this property. Views are beautiful. Beds and furniture very comfortable. The host had the house stocked with groceries and goodies. Host went out of his way to pick us up and drop us off at the train station. We we’re having a hard time getting a taxi and we reached out and he called us one. I have never had a host like Stefano! I would give him 10 stars if I could! We hope to come back one day,

Casa Marola -visit from Lithuania.

This beautifully preserved family house has everything you need to have a restful enjoyable holiday! We were impressed by the history of the place and its surroundings. The house itself has amazing views from the top terrace and we used terrace to have a morning coffee. Beds very comfy and each room has AC units which is very useful in the hot summer and i gues in the cold winter. Also, fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, dishwasher and washing machine made our holiday effortless. Very good Wi-Fi The location was perfect for us and absolutely 100% safe. The local restaurants and cafes are few minutes away but because of the specifics of the area, you can't hear any noise or music from them being at home. We rented a car and we had no problem to park it on the street next to the house. If you want to park next to the property don't rent a larger car as the roads around the accommodation are very narrow. However, there is a big parking next to the church. The little funny train-bus was running to the beach from Gabicce Monte to Gabicce Mare and return ticket is €5, single €3. You can get discounted tickets if you buy 20 of them. The time table is very accurate so you can plan your day. The hospitality of the owner exceeded expectations 😀 We didn't speak any Italian but the owner Stefano, speaks good English so we had no problem in communication. He was very helpful and gave us advice what to visit/see and how to get there. Always available on WhatsApp if needed!

Nice and quiet home

The house is very nice and located in a very quiet area. Stefano is the nicest person in the world I believe, he has been caring about our well being all the way. First when you arrive, the house is full with food. There is pasta for the whole week, wine, beer, fruits, vegetables, eggs, cereals, bread, coffee, and much more. The weather has not been nice while we were there, so he offered that we stay an extra night for free. Checkout is the easiest in the world, just close the door and leave... And at the end they drop he offers you a little present. Thabks you so much Stefano! Now the important things that we were surprised about: - The house is very small and due to its location, downstairs area is very dark. The fact that the weather was not nice didn't allow us to use the terrace and the rooftop, therefore we were in the kitchen.livingThe house is very nice and located in a very quiet area. Gabicce Monte is absolutely lovely, and has stunning views. Stefano is the nicest person in the world I believe, he has been caring about our wellbeing all the way. First when you arrive, the house is full of food. There is pasta for the whole week, wine, beer, fruits, vegetables, eggs, cereals, bread, coffee, fresh milk, and much more. Eine rundum schöne Woche! Tolles Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Aussicht von den Terrassen sensationell! Ausstattung des Hauses perfekt, noch nie so etwas erlebt (wir waren schon in vielen Objekten). Stefano ist der perfekte Gastgeber: unglaublich sympathisch und immer erreichbar und hilfsbereit bei allen Anliegen. Wir vergeben 12 von 10 Punkten!

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit viel Ausstattung

Eine wirklich empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung in Gabicce Monte. Die Wohnung befindet sich auf 2 Etagen in einem typischen Landhaus auf einem Hügel am Meer, eingebettet von weiteren Häusern in einer kleinen Sackgasse. Die Lage ist für alle Liebhaber von schönen Panoramen (auf die Ausläufer des Apennin) und das Meer ideal. Es gibt 2 Terrassen, von denen es einen herrlichen Blick entweder auf das Meer oder auf die sanft geschwungenen Hügel gibt. In der Wohnung fehlt es wirklich an nichts. Selten haben wir eine so gut ausgestattete Unterkunft gehabt. Dazu kommt noch, dass der Vermieter bereits den Kühlschrank und die Küche mit allem notwendigen bestückt hat, um nach der Ankunft nicht gleich wieder einkaufen zu müssen, um nicht zu verhungern. Zwei Sachen sollten aber auch erwähnt werden. Zum Einen gestaltet es sich manchmal schwierig, wenn man viel mit dem Auto unterwegs ist, Abends immer einen Parkplatz am Haus zu bekommen. Es gibt eine kleine, enge Zufahrtsstraße den Hügel hinauf zu den Häusern und es gibt für die 5 Fahrzeuge der Anwohner 3 1/2 Parkplätze. Dort parken die Anwohner und wenn man zu spät kommt, bekommt man keinen Platz mehr und muss in dem Dorf auf einem kostenpflichtigen Platz parken. Das hat uns dann mal für eine Nacht schnell 13 Euro gekostet. Zum Glück nur einmal. Und neben dem Haus befindet sich ein Hotel- und Eventkomplex mit Dachterrassen, genau Wand an Wand mit der Unterkunft. Da könnte es mitunter mal sehr laut werden. Ansonsten einfach nur TOP!

On the Top of Gabbice Monte

Wir genossen unseren Aufenthalt in Casa Marola sehr. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir durch Stefano sehr freundlich empfangen, der uns mit einem gut gefüllten Kühlschrank, frischem Obst und anderen Leckereien überrascht hat. Das Haus ist wie auf den Bildern abgebildet und beschrieben, eher noch schöner :-) Frühstück, Aperitivo und Abendessen auf der Dachterrasse waren ein Träumchen. Die Wohnung ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge ins Umland, auch zu ruhigeren, wunderschönen Stränden. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und denken gerne an den Urlaub zurück.

Familienurlaub in Casa Marola

Als langjährige Gabbice Mare Urlauber verbrachten wir zum ersten Mal unseren Pfingsturlaub oben in Gabicce Monte. Die Casa Marola ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und wir haben uns wichtig wohl gefühlt. Das Haus hat Charme und ist sehr gemütlich. Die Ausstattung ist passend. Toll ist die Waschmaschine. Die Küche ist ebenfalls gut ausgestattet, jedoch ist die Anordnung der Spüle etwas ungünstig, so dass wirkliches Kochen etwas kompliziert ist. Auch nehmen viele Küchengeräte, die man einfach nicht braucht, Platz weg. Gefreut haben wir uns über den top gefüllten Kühlschrank und den Obstkorb bei der Ankunft. Es stehen ebenfalls viele haltbare, hochwertige Lebensmittel zur Nutzung bereit. Öl, Essig, Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker, Kaffee (mehrfache Ausführungen für alle alten von Zubereitung) sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Das erlebt man eigentlich nie – richtig top! Die beiden Terrassen sind wunderschön. Der Ausblick über die Region unschlagbar. Ein großes Tablett zum Tragen des Geschirrs würde das Tischdecken vereinfachen. Leider sind die beiden Terrassen nicht überdacht, so dass sie bei leichtem Regen nicht genutzt werden können. V.a. bei der oberen lassen sich die Sitzpolster nicht abnehmen. D.h. hat es tagsüber geregnet, kann man die Terrasse abends nicht nutzen, weil alles nass ist. Das ist insbesondere schade, weil der Essplatz in der Küche schon sehr dunkel ist. Gereinigt wird das Haus 1x pro Woche. Frische Handtücher stehen in großer Anzahl zur Verfügung. Strandlaken sind ebe

Alles super!!!

Ich wurde sehr nett empfangen, Stefano war sehr bemüht. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und ruhig, gut ausgestattet und hat eine sehr schöne Dachterrasse. Klimaanlage, deutsche Fernsehsender und ein gefüllter Kühlschrank lassen keine Wünsche offen. Vielen Dank dafür!!!

Sehr gut ausgestattetes charmantes Haus mit toller Dachterrasse

Wir haben einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Casa Marola verbracht. Das Haus war wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet (wie beschrieben), die Dachterrasse ein auch bei heißen Temperaturen herrlich luftiger Ort mit tollem Ausblick. Hervorzuheben sind zudem die große Gastfreundlichkeit von Stefano, der herzliche Empfang und die hilfreichen Tipps.

Uriges Ferienhaus

Sehr freundlicher und unkomplizierter Empfang. Das Ferienhaus entspricht voll der Beschreibung, es sind einig Stufen bis zu den beiden Dachterrassen, doch sind diese auch im November noch sehr gut zu nutzen gewesen. Wir waren überwältigt von den zur Verfügung gestellten Vorräten, die von einem gut gefülten Kühlschrank bis zu einer großen Nudel- und Obstauswahl reichten. Der Vermieter stand für Anfragen via Handy immer zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben an dem höchsten Punkt von Gabicce Monte - wir fanden keinen Platz, um den Wagen vor der Tür zu parken, doch gibt es Parkplätze einige Meter abwärts. Ende Oktober/Anfang November waren schon sehr viele Geschäfte und Restaurants geschlossen, dafür hatte man den aufgeräumten Strand fast für sich alleine.

Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre durch individuelle und z.T. sehr hochwertige Gestaltung des Ferienhauses

Als jahrzehntelange Ferienhausnutzerinnen ist es uns noch nie passiert, einen derart bedacht gefüllten Kühlschrank, Obstkorb, Kaffee- und Nudelauswahl zur kostenfreien Verfügung gestellt zu bekommen. Nicht nur angetan waren wir von der aufmerksamen und verbindlichen Art Stefano's, sondern auch über das Hilfsangebot der Reinigungskraft Lucia. Es war eine wunderschöne Woche hoch oben in Gabicce Monte!

Tolles Ferienhaus!

Wir haben zum zweiten Mal unseren Urlaub in der Casa Marola verbracht und es hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist wunderschön und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Kontakt mit Stefano war sehr nett und er hat uns mit guten Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung versorgt. Rundum ein gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub!

Sehr schöner Urlaub

Wir wurden super freundlich empfangen und das Objekt hatte eine fantastische Aussicht. In die Betten könnte etwas investiert werden. Das eine knarrte und das Andere hat gequietscht. Das war nicht ganz so schön,aber sonst alles top.

Thanks for the good score given despite the problems with the beds. In this regard, we waited in giving an answer to first ask the judgment of subsequent guests who found them comfortable. We have invested heavily on the beds, above all in research and restoration, they are 100-year-old original beds. Beds with possible defects that we have tried to eliminate. We think that the problem you encountered was due to the fact that you moved the bed from its position and took it out of its guide, a problem that we encountered on your departure and that we solved immediately at no cost but that undoubtedly compromised the better use of the bed. In any case, as soon as the house is free we will try them again in person. We will be happy to have you as our guests again, greetings from Italy.

Tolle Woche Adria

Wir waren eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung, bzw. dem Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist sehr urig gebaut, noch vom Ur-Großvater des Besitzers und wunderschön und stilvoll eingerichtet. Eben im Stile Italiens. An Ausstattung mangelt es an nichts. 30ger Internetanschluss mit W-Lan vorhanden (Reicht für alles), Kühlschrank, Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Herd. Alles up to date. Besonderes Highlight bei der Ausstattung sind die Sachen, die einem der Vermieter Stefano einfach so ins Haus stellt. Nudeln, Obst, Brot, Butter, Bierchen, Wein, Kaffee... es ist eigentlich alles da für den ersten Tag nach der Ankunft und noch drüber hinaus. ' Wirklich ein Haus mit kompletter Ausstattung. Der Check IN war perfekt, keine Probleme. Kurze Besichtigung und auch das Highlight der Dachterrasse mal eben besichtigt. Der Rausfallschutz für die Kleinsten ist schnell montiert (Standard IKEA, kann jeder), da die Betten sehr hoch sind und die Kinder schon rausfallen hätten können. So aber nicht mehr. Stefano hat sich immer wieder erkundigt, wie es uns geht. Auch mal einen guten Tipp dagelassen und war wirklich bemüht, uns eine schöne Zeit zu bescheren. Das kleine Städtchen liegt auf einem Berg. Hier gibt es einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen für das nötigste und auch eine Tante Emma drin. Großeinkauf würde ich da aber nicht machen, aber für Wasser, Wurst, Käse usw. ist da schon alles vorhanden. Die Restaurants in Gabicce Monte mit Blick über die Adria sind ziemlich gut - haben dort drei Mal zu Abend gegessen und im "Bel Sit" ist auch ein Spielplatz weiter unten, auf dem unsere Kinder noch ne halbe Stunde nach dem Essen spielen gegangen sind. Zum Strand an die Adria muss man in die Stadt (Gabicci Mare) fahren. Auto (10min.) braucht man schon. Laufen wären so 20-30min. Hier muss man etwas außerhalb parken, der öffentliche Parkplatz nähe Hafen lag bei 4€ Tagessatz, also sehr günstig. Von hier aus, ist es nur ein kurzer Weg zum Strand und dem Mieten des obligatorischen Sonnenschirms für ca. 15-25€, erste Lage am Strand (wollten wir wegen der Kinder) hat uns 25€ gekostet. Hinter den Hotels gibt es dann die übliche Touri-Meile mit Eis, Getränken, usw. Auf der anderen Seite von Gabicce Monte gibt es auch noch einen Steinstrand. Für Kinder nicht so toll, aber wesentlich ruhiger. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, es war ein toller Urlaub. Danke Stefano!

The restoration of this house is the result of an attentive research aiming at conveying feelings of authenticity and hospitality. The oak beams, the terracotta hollow flat tiles of ceilings and floors, the fireplace, the marble table and the art nouveau-style bed of the two-floor rooms create the typical cosy atmosphere of peace of mind that Gabicce Monte and San Bartolo park inspire.
