Very clean and centrally located property with all the amenities you would need. Close to both the beach and the historic center, with a great bakery right close by! Rosario was an excellent host and provided clear instructions and responsive communication. A great option at an affordable price in the heart of Cefalu!

The appartement is in a great location, right on the main street. Its 4 blocks to the beach, 3 blocks to a great grocery store, and 5 minutes to walk up to or down to the old town. Very clean. Good beds, nice linens and lots of towels. The host is very personal. Well stocked kitchen. Several cafés to the right. 3 to 5 minutes walk to the train. Perfect for us!

Very accommodating host and great stay

Rosario is a wonderful host, very kind and considerate. Great apartment, high ceiling, cool (air conditioning was not required) and very clean.

Host Rosario is a very amiable person who tries his best to ensure you have a good stay. Good communication but doesn't speak English, so unless your Italian is good you will need Google Translate. Worked fine with us:)The accommodation is absolutely perfectly positioned for walking to either the beautiful old town of Cefalu or to the local beach. Atmospheric with a few nice cafes and restaurants frequented mainly by locals, but you do not hear much of this when in the apartment. The appartment has all you need and is comfortable, furnished and clean. I did not need the A/C or heating so can't comment on that side. Only thing I should mention is the showers. They function and do the job, but not very well. It has a beautiful little courtyard and a small private area where you can sit and have coffee. Due to it's location parking is difficult. We hunted around and found free spots (white lines) in side roads nearby. Most of it is pay by the hour and there is a big car park at the rear if you don't mind paying 8 Euros per night.

Wonderful Location in Magical Cefalu

We really enjoyed our time in Cefalu. Rosario was a fantastic host. We used Google Translate to communicate since I don't speak Italian. The best part of this apartment is the location. You are very close to the beach. A short 3 blocks. The apartment includes 2 chairs and an umbrella. The free portion of the beach is large enough that you don't need to pay for the private beaches. You are also close enough to walk to the old town and see the Duomo and La Rocca. Close by is an extremely gourmet version of Deco market. They had a bunch of pre-made packages of olives, sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, etc. Rosario helped us get free parking and we did not move our car the entire stay. I was worried I wouldn't be able to get the space back if I drove anywhere. However, there are pay lots very close by. We used the washing machine for clothes and there was thankfully washing liquid in the apartment along with a dry rack. Beds were comfy. I didn't see any bugs. Not even ants. The garden is a nice area to sit down outside of the apartment. We had a great time.

My first visit to Sicily

I decided to visit Sicily with a friend and we choose to stay in Cefalu. i went on VRBO and found a property that was rented by Rosario. Although he could not speak english and our Italian was rough, he had a great app on his ipad that translated our communications. The property was perfect, just steps from the beach and just steps from the center of town. Rosario could not have been more helpful. He contacted us most days, helped us decide where to go and how to get there. One day there was a huge traffic jam on the highway and he called to prepare us to take a different route. I loved my first visit to Sicily and especially my stay in Cefalu.

Una felice esperienza

Una ottima accoglienza da parte del sig. Rosario in una casa fresca, pulita e corredata di ogni comodità, compreso internet e un godibilissimo angolo verde. La collocazione è strategica in pieno centro con tutti i servizi e i negozi a pochi passi ed il mare a non più di cinque minuti a piedi. I doppi servizi la rendono ancora più appetibile e sicuramente la raccomanderò ad amici e parenti. Io ci sono stato ad agosto 2016 per 15 giorni, con mia moglie, mio fratello e mia cognata. Se dovessi fare ancora delle vacanze a Cefalù ci tornerò volentieri. Silvano Schiazza
