Spacious apt with a nice view of Lake Como

Spacious, clean, and nicely furnished and equipped. The balcony has a view to Lake Como. The view at night of the village lights across the lake is beautiful. A great location on the west side of the lake. We are from the USA and this apartment was perfect for the two of us. We would recommend it to anyone wanting to spend time exploring Lake Como.

Nice place. Hard to find. Owner very accommodating. No AC, no screens on windows. Strong smell of food.

Over-rated

Too far away from the main drag… Not much in the neighborhood (if at all)… Would not suggest staying here, unless you have a car that taxis are unavailable, and onerous task to walk to the property. Quite “spartan “ with no soap included at the property.. would not do this one again

Sehr zu empfehlen

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche im Haus Mary. Ruhige Lage mit phantastischem Ausblick auf den See. Sehr schöne Unterkunft - alles vorgefunden, wie beschrieben. Wir bedanken uns bei Gabriella und Guido und empfehlen es weiter.

Great place very friendly and helpful host :)

Very nice place, beautiful views and friendly and accommodating host :) Would highly recommend. Just note wifi is not stable and kitchen needs some essentials added.

A good location for exploring the northern end of Lake Como. A nice apartment with a few problems.

A very pleasant apartment - once you can find it!! (we had to be collected from the bottom of the hill). A lovely location overlooking the lake, though with no guaranteed car parking spaces nearby (but we always managed). The apartment was quite well furnished, though we felt a few important things were missing: no kettle (we already knew that from a previous review, and took our own), no scissors, no mugs, no hair dryer, no information sheets on places to visit, nearest shops/doctor,pharmacy etc. The lady in the tourist information office in Menaggio was very helpful. There were a few early teething problems which Guido sorted out - telly not working, dodgy electrics for the microwave, front door lock very difficult to operate, no plug for sink, no adapter for coffee machine. And you have to get used to the fact that the living room is directly below the owners' bathroom. And we discovered on the last day that the bed mattress was in a disgusting condition (had we found that out on the first day, I suspect we would not have been happy to sleep on it!). We recommend the lakeside walk from Cremia Vito to Musso, and thoroughly recommend a meal en route at the lakeside Laguna Beach restaurant in Pianello. A nice day out was the trip to Tirano (less than 2 hours away) to catch the Bernina train - stunning! Villa Carlotta and its lovely gardens is another 'must'.

Just past the view -- you can't miss it!

The whole family was warm and welcoming. They even lent us some butter when we forgot to buy it! The apartment is nestled behind an old stone building up a winding road past a Medieval church, but with all modern amenities. The moment was sipping coffee on the porch as the clouds cleared, revealing a stunning view of the Dolomite mountains towering above Lake Como. The landscape is breathtaking, and the apartment has everything you need!

Agréable appartement avec une belle vue sur le lac de Côme

Bon accueil par les propriétaires sympathiques et discrets. Le logement typique avec son balcon et sa terrasse ,est très propre et correctement équipé. A conseiller pour bien profiter de la région des lacs.

Die Vermieter sprechen nur italienisch machen aber alles möglich und sind sehr nett. Von unserer Seite her sehr empfehlenswert, ein super Preis - Leistungsverhältnis.

Ce' piaciuto molto. L'appartamento pulito, ben curato e molto comodo. E' attrezzato complettamente. Vista dal' balcone e' magnifica. I proprietari sono molto gentili. Era un po' difficile a trovare la casa. Appartamento tranquillo. Grazie per tutto. Andrei e Famiglia

Very nice place

We've spent a lovely weekend here! The apartment was clean and comfortable. Lovely views over the lake from the balcony, friendly, helpful owner and almost everything you might need. I say almost, because personally I was missing a kettle. But it's no problem for coffee enthusiasts as there is a coffee machine there! The apartment is situated on a side of the hill so the views are stunning day or night. It makes a bit of a walk to the shores of the lake but once you're there, there is a nice pebbly beach with a bar directly on the bottom of the hill.

Schöner Blick, schöne Einrichtung

Es ist eine sehr schöne modern eingerichtete Wohnung mit einer großzügigen Kücheneinrichtung (großer Kühlschrank mit Eisfach, Spülmaschine, Backofen, Mikrowelle). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Die Wohnung ist sauber und geruchlos, obwohl sie als Raucherwohnung ausgeschrieben ist. Was mich überraschte war die hohe Fremdenverkehrsabgabe (4 Personen 35 € für zwei Tage). Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen!

Sono contento che vi sia piaciuta la casa, e spero di aver contribuito a rendere la vostra vacanza sul Lago di Como indimenticabile. Tengo a precisare che la spesa di 35 euro a soggiorno è per le pulizie finali e per la biancheria, non per tasse di soggiorno. Spero di avervi ancora come miei ospiti. Guido

Très bonne location pour découvrir le lac de Côme

Accueil très agréable, nous sommes arrivées à nous comprendre même si je ne parle par italien. Appartement spacieux, au calme dans les hauteurs, très bien équipé, literie excellente, et une vue magnifique. A recommander ! En plus le prix est vraiment sympa !

Hébergement de qualité et accueil très prévenant

Appartement très calme, spacieux et bien équipé. La literie de la chambre est excellente et la cuisine très fonctionnelle. La vie sur le lac est très belle. Cet hébergement est idéal pour découvrir le lac et le rapport qualité prix est excellent. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil parfait. Même sans parler italien on s'est compris !

idéal pour visiter le lac de Côme et ses environs

appartement calme ,bien situé avec très belle vue sur le lac ,dans un charmant petit village , baignade possible dans le lac à 15 mn à pied .Accueil sympathique par de propriétaires disponibles et serviables. appartement propre ,équipement en vaisselles un peu juste.

Très bon rapport qualité/prix

Appartement idéal pour se reposer au calme et profiter du paysage et de la vue sur le lac en pleine nature. Logement fonctionnel et agréable. Dans la chambre, la température reste fraîche malgré la chaleur dehors ce qui permet de dormir sans problème. Il manque juste un lave linge pour que ce soit parfait. Prévoir de faire ses courses à l'extérieur car juste une mini épicerie dans le village Mention spéciale au restaurant familial Lauro qui propose une cuisine de qualité avec des produits frais Séjour enchanteur

L'appartamento é come scritto nell'annuncio, pulito e bien situato. Tuttavia bisogna avere i suoi prodotti per la pulizia della casa perché non c'é . Consiglierei questo appartamento piuttosto per una coppia perché il letto del soggiorno non è molto comodo.

Incantevole con vista spettacolare

Alloggio nuovo di zecca molto accogliente dotato di tutti i confort. Vista incantevole sul lago e proprietari gentili e disponibili. Un esperienza molto positiva da ripetere assolutamente! Pace e tranquillità garantite! Un grazie di cuore da LIA e DAvide a presto!

Pâques 2016

Bel appartement (aménagement récent), bien placé, accueil sympathique. Je conseille au visiteurs de parcourir la région avec les bateaux, plutôt qu'en voiture. Deux conseils : proposer un petit plan d'accès à la location (facile mais utile : à la sortie du tunnel, à droite puis à droite avant le chateau, monter jusqu'au Stop puis prendre à droite...) et enrichir un peu les assiettes, couverts et autres matériels de repas. (tout est bien pour la cuisine) Nous conseillerons ce logement à des amis s'ils souhaitent se rendre dans la région.
