Aloha Bill, and mahalo for your review. We're very glad you enjoyed your stay. Very few homes on Kauai are air conditioned, relying instead on the mild climate and ocean breezes for comfort. The dryer vents outside, and not into the home. Please visit again!

Unfortunately, you did not contact us about any issues during your stay, and you only told us about your early departure two days afterward. As with most homes on Kauaʻi, this one is not air conditioned, as you were aware when you booked for your stay during late summer. Kauaʻi is located in the sub-tropics, and if you couldn't be comfortable with nighttime temperatures in the mid-to-low 70s F, perhaps you should have chosen a home with ac when you booked in December. Please note that the vast majority of guests have rated this home highly, and no one else has reported uncomfortable beds or noisy fan. For the future, please make sure when you depart a rental home that you follow departure instructions and clean up any mess before leaving.
