There were 6 of us staying at Erica’s home. Some of us love the adventure of staying in an older home, some of us aren’t too enamored with it! I personally loved the quirks, the slightly slanted floors, sleeping with the windows open, etc! I didn’t meet Erica, but I could almost imagine her finding each piece of art, the shells, the pottery, the antiques and just delighting in finding the perfect place for them in her very special home. It’s not a place for those who want a chain hotel experience, but if you want authenticity, adventure and a few oddities, this place is for you! It is a bit close to the road if you sleep in the front bedroom and road nose bothers you, but if you’re used to your husband’s snoring it’s not a problem! Erica provides ear plugs too! We only used the kitchen for coffee and tea, so can’t vouch for that, and Erica was available if we needed her or had questions but we didn’t. I personally give it a 5 star rating, though my cousin wouldn’t be quite so kind in her rating!
