Magnificent experience at this wonderfully stylish villa

Charmingly Stylish Villa, Perfect location for the Village and local shops, Perfect for walking along the Historic Canal du Midi. Private and convenient for Airport and trains Very Functional amenities Stylish Barbecue where we had the most magnificent meals by the poolside. The kitchen is fully equipped and the baths are indulgent. The owner Sean was ever so helpful and a perfect guide with information on what to do in the area. The property was very spacious , airy and clean . Tastefully decorated with everything we needed -Towels, extra blankets and closets Local Butcher has the best pork chops ever!!! Cant wait to visit again

Villa spacieuse et agréable idéale pour passer un très bon séjour en famille. Située dans un quartier calme mais un peu trop loin de la mer. Dommage aussi que l on ai pas pu profiter de la piscine. Les commerces sont à proximité ce qui est très appréciable. Expérience à renouveler dès que possible.

Belle maison de vacances

La belle piscine et les bons BBQ faisant que l'on vit surtout dehors, le mobilier extérieur mériterait d'être plus confortable et une pièce de séjour au rez serait utile. L'étage est magnifique. Accès un peu difficile pour les moins jeunes.

Lovely family holiday

We've just returned from a lovely holiday at Villa Ecluses with our family spanning 3 generations. We had very good instructions from the owner, Sean, and had no problem checking in. The villa was lovely - spacious, and probably the best equipped property we have stayed in. The pool was super and the children spent most of their time in it! The village was a manageable walk away but we did need transport to get to the beach or for shopping. We went to Carcassonne which was about an hour away and this was the highlight of our holiday! Sean kept in regular touch with us throughout our stay, by text or phone, checking that everything was ok and suggesting things of local interest that we might like to do. We had a leak at one time and Sean sent a plumber straight away to deal with it. We were impressed and grateful for this regular contact with us. He was a great host!

Nous avons passer des tres bonnes vacannces a Villa Ecluses mefiteranee. La location est superbe spacieuse confortable et tres bien equipee. Nous sommes 6 petsonnes mais nous avons inviter aussi mes cousiins 5 autres avec leur enfants et mon dieu ils etait tres heureux ! Salle d enfants 5 lits et tout ensemble la bas et les parents sur le balcon voir la belle vue mer prendre une verre .. Le paix ! Belle cuisine grande bien equipee .. meme deux cuisines quand meme . ..la deuxieme est plus petite et pres du jardin et marche tres bien avec la maison de barbecue ou il y a trois barbecue. Barbecue a charbon . Deuxieme a bois et troisieme electrique ..mais il faut dire ca donne le bon gout . La piscine et grand et chaufee et bien equipee aussi pour les enfants . Ils ont passer des heures dedans. La plage est belle et nous avons fait un tour en bicylette aussi . Nous partons aujord hui trieste qu il faut partir. A la prochaine fois.. Tres agreable cette location.

J Ai passer une tres belle semaine A Villa Ecluses mediteranee Les temps fait beaux ... A fantastic stay for the entire family

Our was made up of 3 generations from 4 years to just now retired and everyone had a great time. The villa is not done justice by its photos on the site and although there were 11 of us we all had plenty of space. The wildlife in the grounds amused the children with bats, lizards and hedgehogs to keep them entertained on various "hunts" in the evening when they younger ones were not able to go in the pool any longer. The local area is fantastic for its facilities and the welcome from locals was the best we have ever received. In the past we have always visited an area once and tried somewhere else - but this time people agreed that this would be well worth a return visit. Also worth a mention locally is the hospital and local pharmacy who were very helpful when the youngest child fell on the beach and damaged his front teeth - not a quarter of the wait we would have had here in Kent and a follow up appointment with a specialist in just 2 days! However, just in case visitors are in a similar position it would be an idea to practise the French for "could you please tell me where the all night chemist is tonight" as the local police, who you have to ring for this information do not speak English at all and will very helpfully give you a number which is neither a phone number, nor a post code. This was the only time we were held back by our basic schoolboy French. Overall well worth a visit, do not miss the Euro park Fairground, and great value for money - both the accommodation and the "extras".

Super Holiday Weather was a little mixed it what a fabulous Billa to stay in We had a Chiice of 4 separate dining areas each evening in this beautifully decorated villa eith classical painting mixed with interesting local artefacts Balcony dining with sea view Formal dining room and worth dressing up for with elaborate candle lit dinner Outdoor dinner near barbecue and self catering kitchen dinner downstairs what a fabulous experience of la belle France We also dined put a short walk from the Villa along the pedestrianised canal bank at la grignotte this is a fun experience and at Les Voiles on the beach at Portiragnes not to be missed for its fish menu This is a Fanulous Villa in an inexpensive part of France is not to be missed

Villa parfaite pour nos 3 couples (parents et 2 filles mariées) et les 3 enfants (11, 9 et 2 ans), très spacieuse et dans un lieu calme, avec une grande piscine. Grandes plages à proximité ; il est préférable d'avoir une voiture (parking sans soucis), mais il est possible d'y aller en vélos (environ 20 mn). A recommander.

Maison super ! au moins 10 couchages, y'a de la place pour tout le monde ! 2 cuisines 1 au rdc l'autre au 1er étage. Maison très bien équipée : lit parapluie, pots pour les tous petits, sèche-cheveux, fer à repasser, clim mobile dans toutes les chambres, barbecue, plancha... Mobilier de jardin en nombre. Très grande piscine bien chaude en ce mois de juillet, transat suffisant. Le propriétaire a été très cool sur nos horaires, et notre caution nous a été remboursée de suite. Vraiment une très bonne adresse, nous avons pu recevoir tous nos amis autour d'un barbecue et de la piscine pour un anniversaire, nous avons passé un excellent moment ! Merci !
