Excellent séjour à St Georges d'Oleron

Une semaine passée en famille sur l'ile d'oleron dans cette charmante petite maison ! Idéalement située entre st gzorges et cheray (marché tous les matins !), cette maison est très bien agencée avec 2 chambres donnant sur une rue calme, terrasse avec plancha très agréable. Super bonus : accueil du lundi au lundi, un plus pour éviter la foule du samedi !

Belle maison idéale pour les familles

Cette location est idéale pour les familles avec enfants, même petits. Très bien agencé et moderne elle est idéalement située. 15 min de la plage à vélo. La piste cyclable passé Juste devant la maison. Bref nous recommandons cette location.

Très belle petite maison

Très belle maison située sur l'île mais peut-être un peu éloignée des commodités. Cependant la maison est impeccable et très charmante pour un séjour en famille. Nous y reviendrons sans problème.

Maison en bord de route !

Maison en bord de route principal , les chambres donnant sur cette route étais très bruyantes ceux qui n’est pas indiquer sur l’annonce . La literie est de très mauvaise qualité . Attention l’océan se trouve à 30/40 min à pied ceux qui n’est pas très proche.

Séjour très agréable

- maison très confortable, bien équipée, très propre - les chambres donnent sur une rue passante donc pas mal de bruit la nuit... Nous avons eu de la chance car compte tenu du couvre-feu de 19h, il y avait heureusement peu de voitures le soir. - jardin encaissé ....il doit y faire très chaud en plein été - relations tendues et compliquées avec la propriétaire. Lisez bien votre contrat de location ! Nous devions payer une caution de 600€ en plus de la location et après avoir contacté Abritel, il s est avéré que la caution n'était plus d actualité car le contrat de location avait évolué. - la concierge Pricille a été notre bonne fée pendant notre séjour.... le mitigeur de la douche était défectueux et elle l a changé dès le lendemain de notre arrivée . Merci Pricille pour votre réactivité, efficacité, patience et gentillesse - l ile est magnifique ....à découvrir à vélo ( location à cheray , ils sont très aimables ), à pied ou en voiture ....gros coup de coeur pour Oleron !!! - dernier point : si vous êtes gourmands, il y a une petite cahute sur Bree les bains, tenue par un jeune couple charmant qui fait des gaufres liégeoises à tomber !!!!

Lieu exceptionnel pour des vacances sur l'ïle

Cette maison a du charme, elle est super bien pensée, très spacieuse. Au niveau de l'équipement, je n'ai vu aucun hébergement de ce niveau. C'est tout simplement une perle rare ! Propriétaire adorable et la concierge également. Vous formez une équipe au top. Mille mercis !

Third visit to this lovely property

We’ve never rented another property more than twice previously but this was our third year at this lovely house and probably won’t be the last. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and ideally situated for the beaches, village life and various outdoor activities. Cheray has restaurants, a market, shops and a particularly good pizzeria. The main town, St. Pierre, is only a short drive away and has all the facilities you would want. There are excellent, sandy beaches all around the island. Plenty of touristy stuff if that’s what you want. The house has excellent WiFi. We’ve been renting on the island for seven years now. It’s a nice rut to get into.

Tolles und modernes Ferienhaus mit guter Ausstattung

Wir (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder) haben einen sehr schönen und erholsamen Sommerurlaub in diesem modernen Ferienhaus auf der Île d'Oléron verbracht. Das Haus befindet sich in einer (trotz der Straße) ruhigen Lage, schöne Sandstrände liegen wenige Kilometer entfernt. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist gut, einziger Kritikpunkt ist eine extrem langsame Kaffeemaschine. Insgesamt aber sehr empfehlenswert!

A second visit

Just back from a return visit to this property. We’ve rented for many years on this island and it’s the only place that we would consider for a third rental. The garden is small but totally private and is secure for young children. The house is directly on a road but, despite what you might read elsewhere, this is hardly a problem. Traffic is minimal at all times. There are shutters and you can leave the windows open for extra ventilation should this be required, plus there are a couple of tower fans. The place is well fitted out. There is really good internet. Off road parking for two cars. St. Georges/Cheray are typical island villages with a market and boulangerie within a short easy walk. Plenty of bigger shops within 5 miles. Excellent, safe beaches a short drive away. I can’t see us NOT returning to the island in future, despite the 1200km drive from home. For us, it’s the perfect place to chill.

petite villa confortable et fonctionelle

Villa totalement neuve dans petit bourg au centre de l'île. Jolie déco. Bon mobilier. Bon acceuil par un service de conciergerie. Bon emplacement pour vacances a vélo (attention l'île est plutôt grande). En passant par les parcs, accès agréable à pied au marché et commerces. Déconseillé à ceux qui veulent le calme absolu. Et important: Draps et linges de maison = supplément de prix.

praktische vakantiewoning

inderdaad een nieuwe woning met voldoende ruimte voor 4 personen. voor 6 personen lijkt me de ruimte net te krap en het serviesgoed te weinig. wees je bewust dat je aan een drukke doorgaande weg slaapt. het is een patiowoning met dus een kleine ommuurde tuin. de oprit deel je samen met de buren.hierdoor is de vrijheid om de woning beperkt. in de beschrijving stond dat het linnengoed en handdoeken inclusief was. dit bleek echter niet het geval. het was wel te huur. ik vond dit wel prijzig , voor 3 pers. :beddengoed en 1 badhanddoek pp kostte dit 89 euro voor 2 weken. wel prettig dat er een afwasmachine aanwezig is. dit stond niet in de beschrijving. er is in de buurt een fitness/speelpark, wat fijn is als je kleine kinderen hebt of een stukje wilt sporten. de fietspaden zijn aanwezig echter de routes lopen ook over drukke autowegen waar ook vrachtwagens rijden. er valt veel te googelen over het eiland. maak hier vooral gebruik van.

Clean, beautifully furnished property

Excellent holiday at this lovely and welcoming villa on the island of Oléron. Plenty of eating establishments nearby and the shops and market in the village of Saint Georges are all within easy reach. We had a very restful and enjoyable stay and would thoroughly recommend this property.

Beautiful island, disappointing property

We had a wonderful fortnight on the beautiful island of Oleron. The house was in a great location, walking distance from St Georges which was a small and friendly village and with a cycle path just outside. We loved exploring the island on our bikes and found many fantastic places to visit. In terms of the property, there are couple of things it's worth mentioning. First of all, you do hear quite a bit of traffic as the house is right on the main road. Building works are taking place next door and over the road in addition to the general traffic, which adds to the ambient noise. There is no air conditioning, so it can get very hot inside (you can't open the windows or you'll hear the traffic/builders). Also the two bedrooms overlook the road, so there is little privacy. And finally the garden is extremely small and mostly covered in weeds. For the price we paid, this property was not good value for money.

Clean, modern property in good location

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at this property having rented many properties on this island. The location suits us and this modern property offers spacious accommodation for two and probably four. All fittings are up to standard and there is good off road parking for two cars. The wifi is fast and unlimited. A general store, bakery and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The only negative is that there are no fans available and we were there in a heatwave.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. La maison est spacieuse, lumineuse, très bien équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Le petit jardin est bien appréciable aussi. La maison est à 15mn à pied du petit bourg. Et le parc de Loisirs de l'étang des Prés Vallet à 5mn à pied ; génial pour les enfants, et agréable pause-détente pour les parents aussi. Les plages sont à 10mn en voiture.

New and nicely furnished house

We can highly recommend the house in St. Georges d'Oleron.The house is brand new and very nicely furnished. The kitchen is fully equiped with proper owen and fridge. Proper furnished dining and living room completes the house. There are two sleeping room towards the main road, but we could sleep with open windows as there is no traffic during the night. A bakery shop and supermarket are just 5 min by bicycle. A very large sand beach can be reached within 10-15min also by bicycle on a designated bike path, which starts in front of the house. Overall we enjoyed the time on the Ile d'Oleron and will definitely come back again.
