L'Ecurieはかつては安定していたが、今ではカントリースタイルの簡易キッチンと、ブティックホテルの部屋のようなウェットルームを備えた広々としたスタジオアパートメントになっています。 ラフェルメットフランスの4つの個別にスタイル設定されたキャラクターギットのクラスターの1つです。南フランスの日当たりの良いポワトゥーシャラント地域にあります
 
L'Ecurieは天井が高く、淡い蜂蜜色の石の壁が露出しているため、とても広々としています。 快適な大型ダブルベッドは、スクリーンの後ろに目立たないように隠されています。 簡易キッチンに加えて、地元の市場で見つけたものを調理するための炭火焼きバーベキューがあります。 砂利に覆われたテラスは、プライバシーを提供する低木に囲まれていますが、ハムレットはとても静かなので、奇妙なトラクター以外の騒音に邪魔されることはほとんどありません！

Tout était parfait... Vraiment.Le logement en lui même n'est pas très grand mais tout à fait fonctionnel avec la petite cuisine sdb et l'extérieur.Nous étions prequel les seuls vacanciers et nous avons profité de l'immense piscine. Un bonheur.

A wonderful find. A lovely studio holiday home in a secluded little hamlet. Spotlessly clean.

What a wonderful find. A perfect place to totally relax and unwind. It had everything we need for the the two of us. The owners gave us very clear directions to find it and were always available to contact, should we have needed them. Would recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return

Lovely Relaxing Stay

A lovely property in a wonderful area to explore. Facilities in L'Ecurie were excellent making our stay so relaxing. Hope to return to visit one or two more vineyards very soon!

L’Ecurie

I had a very enjoyable stay in L’Ecurie - the accommodation was as advertised and I was not disappointed. It was a little hot for September but the cycling in the region was excellent. The roads around the property were very quiet and I had some excellent rides to the coast, Saintes, Jonzac and Cognac, and an enjoyable cycle ride one evening to Pons for exercise and a beer. I would definitely consider return to the region.

Reposant et calme, no stress

Nous étions à la recherche d'un petit logement, "point de chute" pour les nuits, et nous avons trouvé "L’Écurie"... Petit coin de paradis, aménagé avec raffinement dans un ancien corps de ferme entièrement et parfaitement rénové, pleine campagne, l'endroit est parfait pour s'y ressourcer. A l'arrivée, dès qu'on ouvre les volets, on découvre un logement accueillant, chaleureux, paisible. Pour un couple, la cinquantaine, sans enfant..., l'écurie est plus spacieuse qu'on ne l'imagine en regardant les photos. Les rangements sont largement suffisants. Nous ne nous sommes pas bousculé dans la cuisine et nous avons pris nos repas du soir sur la terrasse (avec passage de chouette et petites chauves-souris). La literie était confortable et nous avons passé de bonnes nuits. WC, Douche italienne spacieuse: aucune critique Après avoir vécu des journées à +/- 30-35°, nous avons particulièrement apprécié la "fraîcheur de la pierre", les soirs, à notre retour. Toujours en ballades, à l'Ouest, la côte et l'estuaire de la Gironde sont riches en sites à visiter. Au Nord-Est, Pons, Cognac, Saintes sont aussi à visiter... Et après..., il était déjà l'heure de rentrer à la maison... En résumé, si vous hésitez à réserver ce site, un seul mot: "Foncez". En toute sincérité, l'endroit est Super !!! We are Lesley & Felix Houareau. We have always worked in customer facing roles and enjoy hosting guests in our French gites. We live in a village just outside Bath and feel very lucky that not only do we live in a beautiful part of the UK but can also spend time in the Charente Maritime area of France with it's historic towns, great beaches and also have access to some great local wines

We looked for a region with good weather but easier to travel to than the South of France. The Charente Maritime is the 2nd sunniest region of France and a hidden gem known about by the French. Lots of great beaches to choose from, great local food markets, rolling countryside with towns and villages with lots of character. We are in the midst of wine and cognac country with lots of places we can buy direct from the producer.
We are in a peaceful hamlet 2.5km from the nearest town but surrounded by fields of sunflowers, wheat and vines and lots of local wildlife. The myriad of lanes around our gites are great to explore by foot or bike (we have a selection of bikes on hand). We are close to the Bordeaux / Blaye wine region as well being able to buy the best Cognac locally, and only 30 minutes to the beach. Wine, good food, sun and beaches - what more could you want?

We love the original features that give our gites their character and each gite has been styled differently. The location is rural but not remote as the nearest town is only 2.5 kms away - close enough to cycle to the boulangerie. Our new swimming pool which opened in 2019 is very popular with our guests
