I would come again

The villa has an outstanding view of the sea, adding value at any time of the day, whether it’s a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. The place is well-equipped with all necessary items, and everything is fully functional. Jean-Mark was very helpful, and we had great communication before and during our stay. There is a highway not far from the villa, but from our experience, it did not affect our stay at all, neither during the day nor at night. As the villa is situated higher on the hill compared to the main road, I suggest completing your shopping list in advance to avoid additional trips to the market. I also recommend getting a car to explore more places and beaches around.

Nice stay

It was a very pleasant stay and a super friendly host. The only thing that should be noted - last 200 m. of the road to reach the villa is very steep and curvy. Driver should have good driving skills. We got used to it, but the first time was quite challenging. When you reach the villa - it's beautiful. The view over the sea amazing.

Fijn familiehuis

Het huis is hoger gelegen en heeft een prachtig uitzicht op de zee in de richting van Ventimiglia. Hartelijke en zeer uitgebreide ontvangst door de eigenaar. Wij waren met onze kinderen en kleinkinderen. Het huis heeft een boven- en benedenverdieping met op beide etages slaap- en badkamers. Hierdoor kunnen diverse gezinnen goed separaat in het huis verblijven (je kunt je even terugtrekken in je eigen kamers); ideaal voor families. Het huis is goed uitgerust, echt alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Verwacht een goed uitgerust huis, maar geen moderne luxe. De tuin biedt voldoende mogelijkheden. Het weggetje naar het huis is smal en zeer steil. De eerste keer even slikken voor iemand die dat niet gewend is, maar na twee keer ben je het gewend.

Wonderful stay in cute town

We enjoyed our stay in this cute little coastal town. The home was perfect for us. Such a convenient location to hop on over into Monaco and Nice literally minutes away. Jean-Marc couldn’t have been more helpful and generous. The villa is up a short windy road but after the first time going up, it is easy to access. Nice private location that is just up the road from the market. We also loved the spaciousness of the villa after staying at some tiny apartments earlier in our trip and the views from the patio are gorgeous!!

Amazing property!

My wife, sister, and I took my Mother here for her birthday after a stay in Corsica. We were here three nights. The owner and his son were extremely communicative and friendly. The pictures and descriptions given are very accurate. The property was well-appointed with staples such as coffee, spices, and cooking oil and we were able to cook a couple of dinners with fresh fish from the local farmer's market. Simply put, this property and the owners are spectacular and I would recommend it without any hesitation.

Tolle Aussicht

Jean-Marc ist ein herausragender Gastgeber. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gibt auch einen Grill (mit Platte), den wir ausgiebig genutzt haben. Allerdings muss erwähnt werden, dass sich das Haus an einer Steilküste befindet und ca. 70 Meter hinter (leicht über) dem Haus die Autobahn verläuft, welche teilweise gut zu hören ist. Ansonsten haben wir den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Mediterranean Delight

Jean-Marc was a very welcoming and congenial host. His spacious and well appointed property was the perfect choice for two couples traveling together. Marvelous views of the sea and charming communities below and convenient to the coastal highway just a few short miles to the French border. Highly recommended!

Great time at Latte

The house is very nice, it has a very nice view to the sea and everything was prepared very well for a wonderful holiday. Jean-Marc was a very good host, we could call him any time. If we come back one day to this place we would choose Jean-Marc's house again to stay.

Great house, great landlord

This house is wonderful. The pictures don't promise too much. We actually had this wonderful view. But especially the landlord Jean-Marc has to be pointed out. He is the best and friendliest landlord we ever had. Very obliging, helpful and extremely nice. We had to postpone the start date of the holiday for a few days due to illness - no problem at all. Jean-Marc, thank you very much for your help and support. Despite the circumstances, it was a great holiday and we are happy to come back.

Latte Cycle Trip

Great base for exploring some of the bigger climbs by cycle. Property is very spacious and superbly equipped. Owner and son were very welcoming hosts. Supermarket at end of road is superb for all supplies. However other places to eat are all further afield. Also worth noting the access is very very steep and narrow...although it didn't stop us all cycling up!

Excellent séjour en Italie, proche de Menton et Monaco

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille à Latte. En Italie, proche de la mer et de la frontière française, cette villa est idéalement située. Menton et Monaco d'un côté, San Remo et Gênes de l'autre, vous trouverez de nombreuses visites possibles à partir de Latte. Toutes les commodités sont à proximité, la plage est proche, même si une voiture est conseillée. La maison est suffisamment vaste pour que chacun y trouve son intimité. Confortable, bien équipée, elle permet une détente assurée face à une superbe vue sur la mer. Jean-Marc, le propriétaire, nous a accueilli de manière efficace et particulièrement conviviale. Destination à recommander tout particulièrement. Merci Jean-Marc pour votre accueil !

Très bon séjour, la situation géographique est remarquable, côtes fracaise et italienne magnifiques

La villa est magnifiquement située surplombant Latte et la mer. Nous y avons séjourné à huit personnes. Le nombre de chambres et de salles de bains rendent le séjour trés agréable. Les extérieurs sont très plaisants. Le seul bémol est le chemin d'accès très escarpé. Philippe

Nice location, nice house, nicest landlord

the house is nicely located right at the boarder from italy to france up in the hills with a beautiful view over the sea and the mountains. You find different kind of beaches (town beaches, "wild" beachs) within a couple of kilometers. Ofcause a car will be needed. Located right between Monton (france) and Ventimiglia (italy) the house is a good starting point for visiting the area. Just down the hill you would find a nice italian supermarket. Just over the boarder a french one. The house is big, clean, fully equipped ... and most of all: Jean-Marc is the nicest and most helpfull landlord we had for last couple of years. When visiting the area again, I would certainly come back here.
