Quiet area without traffic, near the beach of Boisvinet, the pier of Ile d'Yeu, downtown, train station and restaurants on foot.

Excellent séjour à Saint gilles croix de vie,dans l'adorable maison de Carole et Philippe.La plage familiale du boisvinet est à quelques minutes à pied.Nous espérons revenir pour explorer davantage la région.

Séjour à Saint Gilles Croix de Vie

Nous avons passé de super vacances chez Carole et Philippe.Très bon accueil avec des petites spécialités de la région, une maison très propre, fonctionnelle, au calme dans une petite impasse, proche de la mer.Pas besoin de voiture, tout se fait à pieds, le centre ville est charmant.Je vous conseille vivement cette location !

Un séjour formidable!!

Bon séjour

Très agréable maison, avec sa grande véranda et sa terrasse ombragée. Bien que sans parking, il est aisé se garer à proximité. A 1 km à pied, il y a une grande halle avec des produits frais et poissonnerie.... Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et restent disponibles en cas.

Location proche de la plage du boisvinet. Logement calme, propre, fonctionnel et agréable. Seul regret pas de place de parking attitrée. Région agréable. Puy du Fou pas très loin.

We have had the best holiday in the Fisherman's House. Restful and relaxing, just what we needed, short walk to the beach and local shops. Carole and Philippe were fantastic.

Vacation in St Giles Croix de Vie

We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, the property had everything we needed and the garden was a real suntrap.,and very private. The only downside was that there was no on site parking.

Ravis de notre séjour a St gilles croix de vie ;Logement très agreable , proche du port et des commerces de cette ville très vivante ;la grande véranda et la cour carrelée permettent de profiter de l'exterieur sans vis a vis ;L'accueil de Carole et Philippe fut très chaleureuse avec de multiples conseils ;les echanges telephoniques immediats ; nous retenons l'adresse ...merci a eux deux

Parfait, parfaitement parfait.

Très bon accueil. Hôtes à l'écoute de nos besoins. Maison bien équipée. Jardin clos et intime. Bon emplacement. Pas besoin de voiture. Tout est faisable à pieds et en vélo. Plages et piscines naturelles d'eau de mer. Nous reviendrons sans doute. Claudine et Claude.

Lovely little apartment by the sea

We were attracted by the location and it didn't disappoint, the beach was barely five minutes walk away. The apartment description is accurate, the apartment itself is plenty for a couple, would probably also suit a couple with a young child, there was a baby bath and a pram in the utility room. Carole and Philippe were very responsive, we did have a bit of an issue with ants but they dropped by another repellent block and we got some more ant spray from the supermarket. The patio at the back of the property is a real sun trap, it's totally private and ideal for sunbathing if you don't want to go out. When the weather is warm the apartment is warm, I would recommend taking a fan for overnight. Parking at the property is not always straight-forward, some residents don't like you parking in what they perceive to be their part of the road. Unless you need to go to the supermarket however you don't need to go out in the car, there are restaurants, bars and small shops all in walking distance, and the beach of course. Carole and Philippe do not speak English, I speak some French so that wasn't an issue, alternatively you could easily translate on the fly with modern mobile phones. We twice played golf at a course 20 minutes inland, Golf des Fontenelles, which was very nice. If you're going to play 18 holes take a buggy, unless you enjoy getting sweaty. All in all a lovely holiday, would definitely consider coming back in the future.

Nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement par les propriétaires, toujours disponibles et à notre écoute. La propriété est conforme au descriptif, son espace extérieur est très pratique et sans vis à vis, endroits idéal pour passer des vacances au calme.

Emplacement exceptionnel

Petite maison de grande qualité avec tout le confort que l on peut attendre. Tres prés du bord de mer (70m) et au calme. Terrasse énorme et sans vis a vis. Une belle adresse avec les propriétaires Carole et Philippe très a l ecoute de leur locataire. M'ont prêté un ventilateur les jours de grandes chaleur. Séjour de qualité. Merci

On peut se passer de la voiture durant le séjour, tout se fait à pied ! Location très bien équipée avec cour sans vis à vis ! Petit bémol la fenêtre de la chambre qui ouvre sur la véranda. Peut être un atout lorsqu'il ne fait pas chaud, mais avec les 32-33 ° que nous avons eu difficile de refroidir la pièce : nous avons eu très chaud quelques nuits... A part ça tout était parfait, l'accueil et la disponibilité des propriétaires. Nous y retournerons très certainement !

Ideal location, fabulous holiday!!

The cottage is ideally placed for the two small local beaches and some local eateries. It's a short walk into St Gilles town where you will find great shopping, cafes and restaurants. The cottage is in a very quiet part of town and the garden is totally private and great for sunbathing. As leisure cyclists we found the coastal tracks ideal and not too strenuous, so we didn't have to work too hard in the sun 👍🏼 Carole and Philippe were very helpful and although they don't speak a lot of English (we don't speak a lot of French either) we managed to get by with lots of fun and hand waving 😁 If there is one downside to this property it is the parking, as there is very limited space in the street and nothing at all directly outside the property itself. We parked in a neighbouring street with easy access through an alleyway. This didn't affect our enjoyment of the holiday at all, but may be an issue to those less active than ourselves. Looking forward to returning again next year!! ------------------------------------- Le chalet est idéalement placé pour les deux petites plages locales et quelques restaurants locaux. C'est une courte promenade dans la ville de St Gilles où vous trouverez de beaux magasins, cafés et restaurants. Le chalet est dans une partie très calme de la ville et le jardin est totalement privé et idéal pour bronzer. En tant que cyclistes de loisirs, nous avons trouvé les pistes côtières idéales et pas trop pénibles, donc nous n'avons pas eu à travailler trop dur au soleil 👍🏼 Carole et Philippe ont été très serviables et bien qu'ils ne parlent pas beaucoup anglais (nous ne parlons pas beaucoup de français non plus) nous avons réussi à nous débrouiller avec beaucoup de plaisir et de main agitant 😁 S'il y a un inconvénient à cette propriété, c'est le parking, car il y a très peu d'espace dans la rue et rien du tout directement en dehors de la propriété elle-même. Nous nous sommes garés dans une rue voisine avec un accès facile à travers une ruelle. Cela n'a pas affecté notre plaisir de vacances, mais peut être un problème pour ceux qui sont moins actifs que nous. Nous sommes heureux d'y retourner l'année prochaine !!

cette" petite maison de pêcheur" est grande par son confort et son emplacement .L'intérieur est bien aménagé ,la terrasse et la véranda sont très appréciables .les propriétaires sont charmants et très à l'écoute des locataires, rien de négatif .Nous espérons revenir en 2019 ...... les vacanciers de la loire
