Amazing!!

Miriam was the best manager u could ever ask for! The company they had ran out of water so we had no water and they didn’t know when it would be back on. She booked an excursion for us before we left and she got us in a new place just right down the road. She felt so bad but we knew it wasent there fault things happen! She made it completely hassle free on us from start to finish!

Beautiful & Unique!

This place is amazing! So different than anything I’ve ever seen. The views were outstanding! I think I spent most of my time staring out the windows & deck doors. :) The few little kinks that occurred (just basic stuff that just happens) were taken care of in good timing by the very attentive manager. Miriam is the BEST!!!

Great place to stay

The villa was unique and the pool was fantastic. The kayaks and bikes were horrible. The beaches had tons of trash.

Swan Villas, Maya Beach, Placencia

I stayed here two times in 2021! The staff are amazing!! The over night security guard, Adrian, patrols all night and keeps the grounds safe. He is very informantive and simply an honest man. I have a new friend for life! The only two negatives are the distance to town, a car or golf cart rental or cab is necessary, and the sand flies on the lagoon side are a lot. I call Swan Villas home. I will definitely be back soon!

Not for tall people

This is a beautiful and creative property. If you are over 6 feet tall you may have an issue with low ceilings. I am 6'3" and hit my head so many times during the first day that we didn't stay a second day. Other factors that influenced our decision to leave included a lack of hot water in the shower and what we consider a major design flaw for this climate which is a total lack of screens on any window. We left the windows open at night as suggested by the guest book (and to dilute the overwhelming odor of cleaning solutions) and we woke up in the middle of the night covered in flying ants. (note - if you are sensitive to chemical agents like Fabuloso - be aware - the odors are strong and there's no ventilation when the windows are shut). We were not able to reach anyone at the three numbers that were provided. We checked out even though we had no response from our messages and no manager was on site prior to check out time to discuss the matter, and we have still not had a response to these matters from the management team (after 3 phone calls and 3 emails) but our last email did get an impersonal response addressed to "Dear guests" letting us know that someone is "taking a closer look". This is a great location if you are shorter in stature and visiting during a season when insects are less active. There's definitely a sense of being on your own here, which is great unless there are issues.

Absolutely beautiful!

The property is amazing with beautiful plants everywhere The pool was very comfortable in the afternoons and in the evenings The view was amazing The rooms were very clean and adorable Love the fact that they come with everything that you would need to cook your own meals and buy your own foods we'll be staying there again!

After holidays get-a-way

We called it Whoville. It was cute. Everything was clean & it was cozy. The balcony was huge & private. We wished we had more towels & sink space, but it was all fine. Saw a lot of wildlife off the balcony looking into the lagoon.

Lovely surprise!

The Turtle villa was such a lovely surprise! It is beautiful and so unique. We decided to spend a few extra days here. The pool and grounds are so peaceful and we definitely made use of the bikes.

“This was one of the most beautiful homes I've stayed in. It had a very Spanish feel and waking up to the view of the lagoon and mountains in the morning was amazing. The concierge was helpful in setting us up with a golf cart and great places to eat nearby. The pictures really don't do this place justice- the jacuzzi was fun and had a color changing light, the shower made you feel like you were under the sea and the infinity pool was perfect. It is about a 14 min golf cart ride from the airport and about 20 min or so from Placencia village. There were plenty of places to eat nearby though so we didn't find this to be an issue at all.”

Beautiful in every way!

Accommodations were excellent, very private but close enough to walk to restaurants. The views you see on the listing are spot on accurate, but more majestic in person. The people of Belize are very friendly and outgoing. Our local manager Mr. Chris Webb and his wife were magnificent, helped with coordinating what ever we needed and made many great referrals, think we’d been lost without him. If you’re on the fence about this rental, don’t be, worth every penny and then some!

Unique Retreat Near Maya Beach

Loved our Turtle 2nd floor studio. The rooms are so light and airy and we enjoyed a beautiful view from every part of the studio. The infinity pool was beautiful, although we didnt spend much time in it.

Stay at Swan Villas

My husband and I stayed in the Turtle Studio at Swan Villas. What a lovely place! The entire property is beautiful and very well maintained. The views of the lagoon with the mountain range in the background is gorgeous and must have some of the best sunsets in the area. We watched the sunset every night from the infinity pool overlooking the lagoon. I wish we would've had a chance to take out the kayaks provided, but we were too busy exploring the area. The only negatives about the property itself were the sand flies (annoying little buggers, that are just a part of staying in the area) and the water temperature in the shower was difficult to control... either too hot or too cold, but that is a minor complaint considering the shower itself is HUGE and GORGEOUS. It also would have been nice to have a drinking water jug available, as we were unsure if the sink water was potable. Do keep in mind that this property is 20 minutes driving from Placencia. We rented a golf cart, which was adequate for us, and kind of fun. It did, however, restrict how much time we spent in Placencia village, as it was about a 30 minute commute. We also got rained on in the golf cart the morning we left, which was quite the "soaking" experience, but hey just a funny story to take home with us. Even though it is a bit far from the village, I would still stay here again, as there is plenty close by to the studio. Dinner at the Maya Beach Bistro is a MUST. We actually ate there twice during our stay, because it was SO GOOD. What's App was a great tool to get in touch with the property managers while there, and they were adequately responsive.

Beautiful and Unique Villas!

Swan Villas is a beautiful and private community that has wonderful views of the lagoon and the beach access is only a few feet across the road. The villas are so unique in design and the infinity pool and surrounding area are so beautiful! We really enjoyed staying here!!

Cute Studio Apartment/ Villa with gorgeous water views!

The first thing I really loved was the large back sliding doors that bring in a lot of light and beautiful front row views of the lagoon. The shower and whirlpool tub was also one of my favorite amenities. I loved how the tub had aromatherapy and an LED light in it for ambiance. The biggest downside for us was the front door. It is a very cute design but is not sealed by design and mosquitos were getting into our room from the lookout/ openings outside of our room. The mosquitos on the lagoon side can be a nuisance depending on the season you visit. It was bad when we were there so don't forget your bug spray! This is a very nice place to stay and the value is awesome!

Unique Property

We stayed 7/24-7/28. Property is very unique. We were only ones in the complex which was nice. Great shower and fabulous pool. Did not have daily on site personnel but had no issues.
