That’s very uncommon, as we chose one of the simplest models available for ease of use, but I completely understand how frustrating that can feel when you’re arriving. Unfortunately, we were at the mercy of our internet provider and had been trying to resolve the issue prior to your arrival, but I’m sorry it still impacted those first couple of days. Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us during your horse show in Thermal. I’m glad the location worked well for your visit. I’m very sorry to hear about the concerns you raised regarding the bedding and washing machine. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, and we take comments like this seriously. For clarity, the washing machine is not old; it is a top-load washer, and all linens are cleaned between every guest stay. When you brought the issue to my attention at check-in, after you stripped all of the beds upon arrival, we immediately ordered new mattress and pillow protectors, pillows, and sheets (the sheets were sent through Amazon for next-day delivery). Our housecleaner attempted several times within the first 24 hours of your check-in to assist, including within two hours of your arrival to come and rewash the bedding while we waited for the new items to arrive, and again the following morning. She went to the property multiple times but did not receive a response from you to coordinate dropping off the replacement items. After several attempts to connect with you, our cleaner returned and washed everything and remade the beds. We believe we went above and beyond to address your concerns during your stay. A refund of the cleaning fee was not granted due to the unusually heavy amount of horse dirt and debris left on the floors after your stay, which required additional cleaning time. We always encourage guests to reach out during their stay so we can resolve concerns as quickly as possible, and we do our best to address any issues right away. While many guests enjoy the flexibility and comfort of a private home, those who prefer the services and structure of a hotel may find that to be a better fit for their expectations.
