The location is everything you can imagine, at the edge of the historic old town Porto Vecchio. The listing says it has parking...you should know this is not private parking; the city's free public parking is down the hill about 250 meters from the apartment. That said, it's well worth the walk.
The host is responsive and communicative, in French. Make sure you have a way to translate text if you don't understand French.
During our stay (two people, one week in late May) there was half a roll of toilet paper in the unit, no shampoo, only some disposable silverware in the kitchen. I messaged the host about the toilet paper; he apologized and brought over...one more roll. After that I just bought some myself. Maybe I am used to more amenities than is customary with vrbo but I thought that was strange.
