Great chalet with rooms spacious enough for seven people. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped with everything we needed, and the towels were perfect. While the beds were a bit on the small side for adults, I had no complaints even at 1.85m tall. Note that the entrance might be difficult for anyone with limited mobility (one of our friends broke their foot on the pistes). Also, the dining table is quite unstable, balancing a glass on it was a huge challenge! All in all, a wonderful stay. We’re already planning to come back next year!

Really good stay

The chalet was really great,the living room was big and the house has a nice balcony. Only problemes were the clogged douche and the small atic.Overall a very good experience!

Week’s skiing in Alpe D’huez

Quirky property on edge of town. No easy access to lifts but could access Village run easily, ski down blue run to Huez village and then get lift back up to main slopes and lift area. Property was warm and comfortable although access to loft bedrooms was a bit tricky via vertical ladder. Surprised that fridge had no freezer compartment to make ice for drinks - thankfully weather was cold enough overnight to freeze water in ice cube bags.

Very characterful property

We were a group of 8 - 5 adults and 3 children and were very happy with the property. We walked about 200m along the road to access the nearest piste, but you could park your car closer - maybe 100m - and use that as a 'ski locker'. The wifi worked OK for basic purposes. The balcony is really large with a barbecue - but you can't buy BBQ fuel in town in winter. The stove really heats the place quickly and there's loads of logs provided. It didn't snow whilst we were there so the infamous steps were no problem. With lots of snow it would be quite an effort to shovel the steps clear. Parking in the road outside is easy. Although there's only one toilet, this was OK for us, and it has an external window for good ventilation. Shower is very good. I can see that if you're really tall then you may bang your head on lots of things! The attic room was good for two of us but a vertical steel ladder may not be to everyone's taste and I'm not sure would pass UK fire regulations for a rented property. The place was clean and beds were all nicely made up when we arrived - though we were late due to traffic congestion around Grenoble and on the route up the valley from Vizille. This seems worst between 4pm and 7pm on Saturdays when everyone tries to travel up the valley. The lady was very patient and waited an extra hour for us to arrive - much appreciated. We actually found the light switch for the external light that many people says does not work. Here's the secret - it's above the TV on the side of a wooden beam! Enjoy!

Le chalet est bien équipé et confortable. Le séjour est très agréable, la vue sur les montagne magnifique. La localisation est en contre bas du centre du quartier Viel Alpe et un peu excentré des pistes. La remontée à pied au village est un peu raide! La descente skis aux pieds est possible lorsqu'il y a beaucoup de neige et nous en avons eu tous les jours en quantité ! Il faut ensuite enchainer 3 remontees mecaniques pour apprecier le domaine skiable.Vu la neige tombée cette semaine, l'accès au chalet était sportif aussi! Mais nous retenons la vue depuis le balcon sur les montagnes enneigées!!

Logement confortable, bien placé au cœur des pistes, pouvant accueillir jusqu’à huit personnes, et tout équipé. Seul petit bémol, mini réfrigérateur non adapté pour des courses de famille, et sans congélateur. Hôte agréable mais peu réactive.

Je ne recommande pas

Nous avions louer ce chalet à 8, entre amis. A notre arrivée dans le chalet, nous avons eu la mauvaise surprise de constater que le ménage n'avait pas été fait après le départ des anciens locataires. Malgré la sympathie et la rapidité de l'hôte pour régler ce problème, nous étions très mécontents. (Après 9h de route, nous avions seulement envie de nous reposer, et finalement nous avons dû attendre 20h que le ménage soit fait). Concernant les chambres, il n'y en a que 3. Car la 4ème indiquée sur l'annonce au dernier étage n'est qu'un grenier où deux matelas sont posés au sol. (les photos sur l'annonce ne représente pas la réalité). Ce n'est pas un endroit adapté pour des adultes, car trop exigu et pas non plus pour des enfants car trop dangereux. C'est même tellement exigüe que les agents d'entretiens n'y ont pas accès pour faire le ménage (poussières +++, mégots de tabac, lits pas faits....). Il n'y a d'ailleurs ni lumière, ni prise dans cette pièce. Incroyable. Concernant l'emplacement, nous avons dû prendre la voiture pour rejoindre les pistes et le centre ville (environ 5-8min), car pas de piste accessible à pied. Malgré des douches express, pas assez d'eau chaude pour 8. Il fallait attendre 2/3h que le ballon se remplisse. Point positif : le local pour ranger les skis à l'entrée, la cuisine bien équipée, la wifi, la récupération des clés simple et rapide, et la gentillesse des hôtes. Si vous êtes plus de 6, passez votre chemin, ce chalet n'est pas adapté.

Great stay, thank you!

Great: Great location, short walk from tourist information centre where can get bucket lift to pistes. Characterfull building, warm, didn't need to change heat settings. Good view from the balcony - BBQ outside although we didn't use it. Free Netflix and WiFi - amazing! I enjoyed the myriad of kitchen gadgets and appliances including a coffee machine. Some essentials provided such as a bin bag, some dishwasher tablets, one/two loo rolls. Small things that would make this stay even better: The bed was pre-made. Two towels rather than one. To say on the listing complimentary toiletries are not included. Overall, thank you!

Séjour 4 adultes, 4 enfants A l'arrivée: malheureusement déçue par le chalet par rapport au prix: la surface du séjour/salle à manger me semblait plus grande en photo, en particulier espace repas restreint en tous cas pour 8 adultes, petite terrasse mais pas de "très grande terrasse" (ne pas prévoir de pouvoir y déjeuner), une chambre à l'entrée du chalet d'une surface tout à fait correcte mais disposée côté couloir d'entrée/skis/chaussures. Sous les toits, 2 matelas au sol, pièce accessible par une échelle, peu de hauteur, donc peut convenir à des enfants mais pas à des adultes pour une semaine (les enfants étaient contents). Robinetterie bancale dans la salle de bain et montée à l'envers. On apprécierait des rideaux aux fenêtres ( fort éclairage nocturne de la rue). Points positifs: effectivement plein sud, très bien ensoleillé, jolie vue sur les montagnes, et très calme. Canapé large et confortable. 2 chambres jolies, confortables et d'une bonne surface en haut des escaliers. Machines / équipement ok. La propriétaire est très cordiale au téléphone et a répondu rapidement à nos soucis. Nous avons eu de l'eau chaude sans problème. Quartier vieil alpe: très sympa. Pas évident de rejoindre le départ des pistes quand-même: la navette (en pleine saison!) ne passe qu'une fois par heure et est bondée pour l'ouverture des pistes (arrivée rond point des pistes 8h55 pour des cours esf qui démarrent à 9h); sinon accès à pied par un chemin en bout de rue (montée++), puis télébenne ou cabine (prévoir 20 minutes), ou pour les skieurs, descendre une piste à l'autre bout de la rue pour rejoindre une remontée (pas possible pour un piou-piou). Nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour dans le chalet et à l'Alpe d'Huez.

Superbe chalet Delta. Idéal pour deux familles avec enfants. Points forts: propre et excellent état. Bien équipé. Super accueil à l’arrivé. A améliorer: pas de places de parking, compliqué à garer 3 voitures dans la rue. Ballon d’eau chaude petit, pour 8.

Lovely Chalet

Very nice chalet, just have to walk like 5 minutes to take a slope who brings you to the ski lift of Huez, it's the same to come back after a day of ski. The chalet itself it's very comfortable and well equipped for 9 people ( 2 couples and 5 children) more of that it's could be too tight.

Leuk verblijf maar niet voor 8 personen, daar is het veel te klein voor. Alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig. Niet comfortabel voor grote mensen, er zijn veel plekken om je hoofd te stoten.

Bonjour à notre arrivé escalier interminable pour arriver à la porte d entrée , bien sûr non signalé dans l annonce . Le pire n était pas la !, chalet vraiment sale !!! Et dans toutes les pièces chambre très poussiéreuse aussi bien sol que armoire ,sans parler dans le salon cuisine le pire nourriture a l intérieur des armoire chips ....,morceau de pains ....alcool ... bouteille vide qui traîne ... enfin j’en passe ..... pour le prix de la location on s’attend à un minimum .Même pas un coup de téléphone des propriétaires pour se renseigner si on est bien installé...:ou du moins trouver des solutions .... je pense que juste du bisness. Je ne conseil vraiment pas cette location pour des personnes comme nous qui recherchons pour le prix de cette location un minimum de propreté !!!!! Mais je dois avouer et remerciez la personne sur place qui est d une gentillesse extraordinaire , encore merci à elle seulement car les propriétaires !!!!!

Chalet très agréable, très bien aménagé

Ce chalet a répondu à nos attentes. Il est très confortable et décoré avec gout. Nous avons passé de très bons moments au coin de la cheminée les jours de neige. L'enneigement nous a permis de faire des départs et retours skis au pied depuis le chalet. Le chalet est lumineux et chaleureux, la vue est incroyable sur la vallée, les sapins, la montagne et les couchés de soleil. Un logement où l'on se sent chez soit et où l'on a envie de revenir.

Disappointing

Its the first time that we have booked with Owners abroad that we can genuinely say that we were extremely disappointed. The property itself is misrepresented in the details on your site. The stones making up the steps up to the property are dangerous particularly with a broken hand rail. The main table was covered in a cloth, unfortunately we did not realise that the table top itself was so uneven until I had a hot cup of tea spill which landed in my lap. The bedroom in the loft is certainly not a bedroom. The vacuum was broken, no dust pan and brush, one toilet with no hand basin in the room and then having to go through a lounge and kitchen to wash hands. No outside lights and therefore steps outside extremely dangerous particularly when it snowed. The property is a six person property not just because of the bedrooms but the general space in the dining room etc. The owners are extremely fortunate that we are not the sort of people who make claims but they came close as two of us fell on the steps where the rope handrail and post were missing. So disappointed that we may not book with you again.
