Casa da Montanha（マウンテンハウス）はDouro Valleyに近い農場に位置しています。Port Wineが生産されたのは（12km）、ユネスコによって世界遺産に認知されました。 近くには歴史的な村、中世の修道院、12世紀以来魅力的な中世の村があります。 Douro川にとても近いので、ワインセラーへの訪問など、川沿いのボートで旅行を楽しむことができます。 このプロパティは、8エーカー、芝生、低木や木々のオークをカバーするこの200年間私の家族でされている家は750メートルの高さに位置し、美しい渓谷の壮大な景色を眺めながら素晴らしい山に面しています美しさ。 庭園やプールに座って景色を眺め、新鮮な空気を吸い込み、自然に完全に隔離されているため、リラックスするのに最適な場所です。最寄りの家は60メートル先のオーナーハウスです。

This place is perfect!Seriously beautiful. Surrounded by mountains and peace and quiet, you can't help but relax.We alternated between days of exploring beautiful places, full of history (recommended by José), and days of staying in and enjoying the pool and the loungers.I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants a relaxing break somewhere, away from noise, distraction, stress, people or being busy.José, the host, is a lovely bloke and balances always being available and helpful with also being discreet and leaving you alone when you're just doing your own thing.Oh, and that window!! With that view!! Wow! Easily one of my best ever holidays!! Thank you, José.

Havre de paix au milieu des châtaigniers et de la lavande bercé par le bourdonnement des abeilles. Ideal pour 2 personnes qui cherchent tranquillité et ressourcement. La piscine est parfaite du matin au soir, loin des regards. Maison bien située pour visiter la région du Douro et découvrir ses merveilles. L'accès peut sembler un peu difficile mais rien d'insurmontable. José est un hôte prévenant et de très bon conseil. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Perfect als je van stilte en natuur houdt!

Fantastische plek om even helemaal tot rust te komen! Het uitzicht is echt fenomenaal. Het huisje is simpel maar heeft alles wat je nodig hebt! Ook de keuken is uitgerust met alles wat je nodig hebt om heerlijk thuis te eten. José is super vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam! Als je wat vraagt regelt hij het! Dank je wel José, voor een heerlijke week!

Fantastic mountain house, set in a very rural area. Ideal location for a relaxing holiday for 2 people.The host Jose was very helpfull and knowledgable of the area, with a lot of local recommendation's. Een heerlijke plek met veel privacy. Jose is erg vriendelijk en gaf veel tips waar te eten en leuke plaatsen om te bezoeken. Keuken is voldoende uitgerust om zelf te koken. Het bed ligt heerlijk en ook de douche was goed.

Peace and quiet on a hillside with birdsong and wildlife. This is a beautiful property with the most wonderful view and hospitable host. Absolute relaxation. We will definitely return.

Truly a special place

This house is an absolute gem and the owner José is the perfect host. It was exceptional in every way and from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed. The photos, though accurate, really do not do it justice. We cooked every day and the kitchen is well equipped with plenty of worktop space for preparing food. There is a Lidl and a E.Leclerc hypermarket a short drive away. The views are spectacular and the gardens lovely, lots of space and plenty of privacy. We loved it so much that after the first day’s beautiful train ride following the Douro river, we spent the remaining days at the house, sitting by the pool or eating on the terrace, enjoying the views and the peace and quiet. We wished we had been able to stay longer and really hope to return. Thank you José, you have created a very special place.

Perfecto para desconectar y aprovechar la casa, piscina y vistas

Hemos estado dos semanas donde hemos aprovechado la piscina privada al máximo. Zona con grandes vistas y aislada del núcleo urbano como queríamos. Dueño muy atento a todo y cualquier requerimiento y consejos. Indudablemente para repetir. Gracias José.

What a view!

We had a week st this property. The kitchen is quite basic with a four ring cooker and a microwave, We soon realised that it was best to take advantage of the super restaurants in the area! The location is excellent for exploring and the owners suggestions of where to go were welll received. I was nervous about our car being able to manage the steep road up and down but no issues arose. The garden area was super to relax in

Stunning views

Jose was very welcoming and the property was very comfortable. Jose gave us lots of good advice about restaurants and places to visit. The kitchen is basic but there are so many good and inexpensive places to eat out that that didn’t really matter.

Uma estadia no paraíso

Uma casa de pedra muito acolhedora, bem enquadrada na paisagem, com uma janela enorme, que permitia ver as montanhas verdejantes. Simplesmente ficar sentada no sofá a olhar a paisagem, num completo silêncio, já era um alimento para o espírito. O anfitrião é extremamente simpático e prestável. A sua cadela Chica, uma labradora muito meiga e obediente, visitava-nos todos os dias e adorava as festas que lhe fazíamos. Foi uma estadia simplesmente excepcional.

Secluded and serene

We loved our stay! The views of the surrounding region are stunning. The owner meets you nearby to guide you to the property which is helpful- but note this is not a location with lockbox access in case you’re arriving at odd hours or find that uncomfortable . He gave us great suggestions for the nearby area which we loved! Note- there are no soaps provided aside from hand soaps so be sure to pack everything you need. If you’re looking for a secluded, rustic stay in the countryside, this is the place for you!

O Sr. Melo (o dono) é muito prestável e com muitas sugestões sobre restaurantes e actividades a realizar. A casa encontra-se no fim da propriedade com acesso exclusivo à piscina e jardim, com muita privacidade. Local muito bucólico para relaxar durante uns dias. Muito recomendável!

Descanso merecido

O local é excelente para quem precisa de repouso. O silêncio invade o local, apenas o cântico de alguns pássaros se ouvem e se avistam da enorme janela da sala. A paisagem que se avista de dentro de casa, através da janela é absolutamente maravilhosa, desde o por do sol ao anoitecer. A casa situa-se perto de Lamego e de vários locais com interesse histórico/cultural. Disfrutámos de 10 dias fantásticos, fazendo da casa o nosso ninho, depois de durante o dia explorar o nosso belo Douro. A casa tem as comodidades necessárias para se poder ter uma excelente estadia. De referir a simpatia e hospitalidade do Sr. José Melo que muito bem nos recebeu na sua casa e que nos proporcionou também um óptimo roteiro gastronómico. A voltar com toda a certeza!!

Will never forget this one!

Jose was warm, welcoming and attentive. Just sitting inside this 17th/18th century cottage, looking out the large bay window over the mountainside, it is hard to believe that it isn't an ever-changing painting of beauty. From sunrise to moon-rise, the view is stunning. We loved sitting by the pool and soaking in the sun and silence. We feel so luck to have stayed here for 3 days; it was quite the retreat and will always be remembered. Only word of caution is the drive is a bit treacherous, but so worth the journey! Enjoy!

Mountain house

The property has amazing views and is very convenient for the supermarkets which are less than 10 minutes drive. Jose was very helpful with his local knowledge which we really appreciated. Jose was an excellent host, ensuring that we had everything we needed. We had an amazing holiday.

A beautiful retreat

Jose’s mountain retreat is the perfect place to relax and unwind. It is peaceful and secluded with the added luxury of a private pool. Porto is just over an hour away and there are plenty of small villages and country walks in the vicinity. Viseu is well worth a visit as are the natural pools and waterfall just outside of Vila Real.
