Abdul was extremely helpful and did an excellent job of rearranging the taxi he had booked for us when we had to change arrival airports and he welcomed us to the house when we arrived at midnight instead of around 7pm as originally scheduled. His wife prepared a tasty tagine for us. Abdul was helpful throughout our stay. The property is in a good, quiet location in the centre of the medina, which felt very safe to walk around. We were glad of the heaters in the property as it was quite cold in the evenings during February.

Magical

Brigittes Riad was beautiful, a well loved and cherished place full of art, plants and occasionally a desert sparrow who would come and sing in the mornings. Our arrival and orientation was well planned and we felt very looked after by Abdul and Nadia. My teenage girl loved the roof for sunbathing and my husband surfed everyday on the beach which was a brisk 5 minute walk away. It was perfect and I would highly recommend Brigittes Riad and Essaouira as a place to stay.

Ticked all the boxes

6 of us ( over 60 ) spent 4 nights at the Riad. Location in the Medina with roof terrace. Plenty of space and hot water and Moroccan artefacts. Spread over 3 floors. Continental Breakfast included which set us up for the day. Excellent value for money and thoroughly recommend. Only downside for some people is the stairs/ access to floors and lack of A/C which did not bother us.

Relaxed stay. Good location .

Attractive decor .Nadiya and Abdul were very helpful..Great roof terrace though furniture and cushions not as in photos. Smelly groundr floor rooms . Dusty throughout . .We stayed 5 nights and there was no new towels, sheets or any tidying done . A pleasant breakfast of bread and croissants was prepared and pots washed by Nadiya, but not provided on a Sunday .We bought our own yoghurt , milk and water .

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le riad est très agréable, parfaitement situé au coeur de la médina. Nous avons été magnifiquement accueillis par Abdul, regalés par Nadia et Brigitte nous avait donné plein de supers adresses. On recommande vivement !

Un mélange d’odeurs

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique entre amis dans ce Riad pour les fêtes de fin d’années. Nous étions 8 et avions chacun notre espace. La maison est très agréable à vivre.Nous avons profité de la plage, arpenter les ruelles toutes plus jolies les une que les autres sous le soleil.. Appréciez ce mélange subtile de plantes, d’herbes aromatiques, d’huiles et d’épices. Nadia nous a cuisiné des plats succulents et Abdul nous a bien guidé toute la semaine. Nous avons découvert un beau pays avec des gens très gentils.

Super sejour

Excellent, nous avons apprécié l'emplacement, l'espace dans le riad ,la terrasse. Nous etions 8 adultes et chacun son espace chambre salle de bain. Un grand merci a abdul pour l'accueil et à Nadia pour les petits déjeuners tres copieux et variés ainsi que pour son excellent couscous et son dessert .

Nous avons passé 3 jours très agréables au coeur de la médina d'Essaouira dans un riad très confortable et décoré avec goût . La situation du riad est parfaite dans un quartier animé et très agréable , très proche des souks et des rues commerçantes . Accueil parfait d'Abdul et succulente cuisine de sa femme pour le dîner . Très bon petit déjeuner préparé par Abdul et Latifa avec sourires et discrétion .

séjour fabuleux dans ce superbe riad , parfait pour 6 personnes .avec en prime tout le confort européen . situé en plein coeur de la Medina , il permet de s ' immerger dans la vie marocaine à Essaouira ;de profiter des souks et des restaurants locaux à toute heure ; l accueil des Marocains est fantastique . Essaouira est une ville parfaite pour les sports nautiques ( planche et kite ) ; le riad n est qu à 10 minutes à pied des plages . L'accueil d Abdul et les petits déjeuners de Latifa sont un plus très appréciable . je n ai qu une envie ...y retourner !

Super stylish Riad with a wonderful roof terrace

This was my second stay at Dar Zouina and I loved it. My friends found the riad quirky and delightful. Unfortunately the weather was awful but Abdul provided a roaring fire. We managed 3 delicious breakfasts on the terrace in 10 days, provided by Latifa. After the acquisition of a capacious umbrella we were able to roam the streets of Essaouira and indulge in some serious shopping. its a wonderful town. I shall return.
