A lovely week in the Peloponnese

A lovely cluster of villas (three of them) on a hillside above the resort town of Foinikounta. The villas are very private; the views down to the sea amazing. Nice sized pool, plenty of space. The road up is a little windy, and requires a good car and a little patience - but is perfectly accessible. A great place to spend a week. Thanks again.

The house was amazing, clean, plenty bedding and towels. The views are breathtaking and if its a quiet time you are looking for then this is the place. We spent 11 days in house 1 and would go back tomorrow it was so good. Less than 10 mins and you are in the local village where tavernas are plenty and supermarket well stocked. The road to the property is the only issue and you need to be a confident driver to tackle it but trust me it is so worth it and after a few days you dont even notice anymore. 5 stars all around and we hope to visit again next time we are in this area of greece.

Sehr schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage und sehr gut gepflegtem Pool, der wir zu jeden Zeitpunkt immer wieder zur Abkühlung genutzt haben. Die Zufahrt der einspurigen Straße ist schwierig aber machbar, wenn kein Auto entgegen kommt.

Sehr schön gelegenes Haus mit wunderbarem Blick auf das Meer. Pool ist sauber und wurde regelmäßig betreut. Cleaningservice 1x Woche war gut und ausreichend. WLAN Empfang in Haus war Inder ersten Woche gut, in der zweiten Woche dann nicht mehr im Haus vorhanden.

Dejlig bolig

Vi havde et rigtigt dejligt ophold i boligen, og der manglede virkelig ikke noget i huset. Vi boede der i 2 uger, og var meget positiv overrasket over at der kom en sød rengørings dame og vaskede gulve samt sørgede for rent sengetøj og håndklæder efter den første uge. Huset er godt indrettet på 1.salen med en fantastisk udsigt og ved poolområdet i stueetagen er der nemt både at finde sol og skygge. Området er smukt med masser af charme. Det er dog lidt isoleret, hvilket kan være en udfordring når man har eventyrlystne teenagere med på tur. Men generelt meget anbefalesværdig.

Schönes Haus in toller Umgebung

Wir haben den Urlaub in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Es liegt sehr schön und hat eine tolle Aussicht aufs Meer. Der Pool ist auch klasse. Die Küche ist ganz ordentlich ausgestattet. Eine neue Pfanne und etwas mehr Tassen und Gläser wären nicht schlecht. Die Zufahrt ist nicht so ganz einfach, man sollte gut Auto fahren können. Leider gibt es ein ziemliches Ameisenproblem. Das war nicht ganz so schön und war ein bisschen nervig. Aber alles in allem- echt zu empfehlen.

Wohlfühlhaus

Wir haben im Schiza Haus wunderschöne Tage verbracht, mit fantastischer Sicht auf Meer und Inseln. Sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung, alles vorhanden, was das Herz begehrt. Nach Ausflügen bietet der Whirlpool gute Entspannung.

Haus mit wunderschöner Aussicht und Pool

Wir haben 11 Tage im Mai im mittleren Haus der Schiza Houses verbracht und haben uns dort ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt. Die Ruhe und wunderbare Aussicht in die Weite über Hügel mit Olivenbäumen zum Meer sowie der Pool mit angenehmer Wassertemperatur (ca.6,5 × 4 Meter, Tiefe 1,25 Meter) haben sehr zur Entspannung beigetragen. Nur selten hörte man ein wenig Fluggeräusche aus der Ferne, die uns jedoch kaum gestört haben. Das Haus mit zwei Schlafzimmern, Wohnzimmer, Küche und Bad im ersten Stock, einem großen Balkon und einer Terrasse am Pool ist gut ausgestattet und von den Nachbarhäusern sieht und hört man nur sehr wenig, so dass Privatsphäre gegeben ist. Es gibt schöne Ausflugsziele in der Nähe, über die auch ein Link im Ferienhaus informiert, zum Beispiel die hübschen Städte Koroni, Methoni und Pylos mit einem schönen Kloster bzw. Burgen sowie wunderschöne Naturziele, u.a. die Polilimnio Wasserfälle und die Bucht von Voidokilia. Auch Olympia kann man in gut zwei Stunden erreichen. Strände mit Schwimmmöglichkeit gibt es einige in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der nächste in Finikounda ist innerhalb weniger (ca.5) Minuten Fahrt den Hügel hinunter zu erreichen und war im Mai angenehm leer. Insgesamt haben wir im Schiza House einen wunderschönen Urlaub gehabt und können diese Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Prima huis. Wel even vijf minuten de berg op rijden op een ruw pad, maar prima te doen. Lekker zwembad(je), goed uitgeruste keuken, fijne bedden. Heerlijk balkon met fijne tafel en stoelen met een prachtig uitzicht

Well appointed villa in quiet location.

Three villas quite close together but staggered and surrounded by old olive trees giving privacy without enclosing them - very well planned. Spacious and nicely furnished inside and plenty of poolside furniture and shaded areas outside. The pool and garden were both well maintained. Lovely views.

sweet olive grove hideaway

This is an amazing and nearly new property - one of three, free-standing, basically identical 2-floor apartments on a high hill overlooking olive groves and the Mediterranean. Just 5 minutes from the town of Finikounda and the town beach, which we loved. It's a small fishing village that's not overrun with tourists; most of the beach-goers we saw were Greek. Enough shops and restaurants and grocery stores to fit the bill without being overwhelmed. Back to the property: It's important to point out that the drive up to the location is a half-mile or more up a rough, winding, narrow cement "road", but once you've gotten over the initial shock, it's actually a fun ride through the olive trees. My wife practically had a coronary on the way up, but she got over it by the next day. The top floor living space is spacious and nicely laid out above a laundry room which opens out onto the lovely pool area. The views are incredible and it's very quiet. We were in the middle apartment and barely ever heard the neighbors on either side except for the occasional splashes in the pool. Yiannis is a fantastic host, and I have to say that the linens and towels were of very high quality. I will mention a few things that could be improved: the internet service was rather slow and at times intermittent in our apartment. With our two kids typically attached to their devices, this was their only complaint. The kitchen area is great but was missing a few items that would have made cooking meals more pleasant - an additional cutting board, serving spoons, a toaster, a water pitcher, a second skillet/frying pan. It would also be nice - and save Yiannis some $ on the electric bill! - if there were screens on the windows and doors so that they could be left open at night to enjoy the cooler air without the bugs getting in. But the AC units worked great so no real complaint there.

Beautiful Villa set amongst the Olive Groves

The Villa is comfortable, private & very quiet due to its location. Access is via a single track concrete road which makes you wonder where you are going. ...but it's worth the drive as the views from the Villa are lovely. It is a 7 minute drive to the nearest supermarket in Finikounda. We had a lovely time and would return.

Schönes Haus, schöne Landschaft, schöne Strände

Das Ferienhaus und die Umgebung in Lachanada haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Es war ein sehr entspannter Urlaub, den wir in einer der schönsten Regionen Europas genießen konnten. Wir können dieses Urlaubsziel und den Vermieter bestens empfehlen.

The three detached houses, each having a private pool are comfy designed and well equipped to offer you a great holiday. Each house has one bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, and a large living room with sofa-bed. Both the bedrooms and the living room have air conditioning. Open plan kitchen with a full size cooker, oven, dish washer, washing machine. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi are provided. Large balcony and terrace with outdoor table, chairs and sunbeds. Private parking is available for each house
