Beth is a great host. Arranged our airport pickup and return, answered all of our questions. Very accommodating, available when you have a need. The casita is terrific. The bed is super comfortable. Plenty of space in the bathroom for two people. The outdoor kitchen/eating area is great, but don't really think of it as a living space, because it's not. If you want to spread out a bit, better to go to the pool deck because the actual space in the casita is pretty small. The pool is great, perfect after a long day at the beach, and the hammock is a great place to chill. Not too far from town, although, as everyone says, the walk up the hill is very steep. It wasn't really a problem, it was nice to be away from the bustle of town, just be prepared, because it's a workout.
One "But:" The animal noise during the night. The dogs that belong to the local neighbors were right below our window and they barked a lot through the night, and the other birds and animals were pretty loud too. This probably isn't true of the other apartments in Villa Casa Terramar, because of where Casita Tortuga is situated, so if you're a light sleeper, you should try to stay in the Casa, not the casita. Or bring earplugs.
