Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison à quelques minutes des plages, des criques de rêve sans personne et avec vue sur Syracuse. Nous avons été accueillis avec beaucoup d’attention par Francesca et son mari malgré une arrivée bien tardive ! Des provisions dans le frigo et des oranges, pamplemousses et citrons du jardin. Un délice. Le jardin est magnifique et vous serez bien au calme pour vos petits déjeuners et apéritifs dehors et vue mer. Les enfants ont aussi tout l’espace qu’il leur faut. Une maison ancienne très grande et ultra propre. Je recommande vivement cette maison et remercie encore Francesca pour son si bon accueil.

Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig

Unglaublich ruhig gelegenes Haus mit ländlicher Umgebung und Blick auf das Meer. Lediglich ein Auto wird benötigt. Francesca und ihr Mann waren unsagbar nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastic Sicilië

The house is really beautiful! The garden is amazing. From the house it is a gewoon minutes walking distance to almost private beach in a natural park. Super silent at night. Close to the nr1 city in Sicilië: Siracusa. Francesca is very helpful and recomended the best restaurant in town!

Unforgettable time

Just the thought of what to expect from a home on our summer vacation made use excited at all times. We counted on the most beautiful and were nevertheless surprised. It is a wonderful place to relax, unwind, enjoy the peace and quiet- the beautiful, green garden with its various little corners offered us the opportunity to experience "time" every day. The house looks inconspicuous from the outside, but it is large, spacious and above all: cozy and wonderfully furnished. We felt immediately welcome and comfortable, whereby Francesca`s and Carlo`s care and kindness played a huge role in advance. We are very grateful and happy that we were allowed to be in their wonderful place and that they were there for us at all times and that they always put a smile on our faces with their loving care. You don`t come across such a place and people every day. The gorgeous spot of idyll full of peace, beauty, nature and the soul of the house, as well as its owners, formd an important cornerstone of our vacation, on which we were able to buld many unforgettable moments. This summer experience weas uniquely fantastic. It was a real enrichment for us, on which we can look back happily for a very long time and for which we all too often have no words. A place to arrive, dream, relax. We have really been very lucky and still can`t believe it! From the first moment until we say goodbye, we are incredibly grateful to Francesca and Carlo!

Ein Ferienhaustraum

In einer idyllischen Umgebung gelegen, abseits von allem Trubel mit Blick aufs Meer. Sehr schönes Grundstück mit Obstgarten nebenan, sehr geräumiges, gut ausgestattetes Haus, außerordentlich nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Der etwas umständliche Anfahrstweg lohnt sich.

A quiet piece of heaven

Thanks a lot to Francesca and Carlo for their warm welcome and hospitality! They anticipated and prepared everything to make us feel comfortable and like home. We were two families with a 6 months toddler and a 3 years old kid and we enjoyed the wonderful place with a huge private garden. Location is also very good, 5min drive to the nearest beach. We spent a whole week in this lovely home, just enjoying the peace in the incredible garden. We are definitely looking forward to coming back!

Una casa con mucho encanto.

Una casa fantástica, espaciosa, cómoda y con encanto. Los dormitorios amplios, el salón grande y el jardín una maravilla. A 400 m una playa casi privada con agua cristalina. Lejos del ruido y la aglomeraciones. Los anfitriones super amables, encantadores y generosos. En el frigorífico había desayuno cuando llegamos, podíamos coger fruta y verdura del huerto de la casa, en fin, una maravilla.

Paradies auf Erden

Wir (2 ältere Ehepaare) haben in dem schönen Landhaus 3 Wochen Urlaub verbracht und fühlten uns ausgesprochen wohl. Das Haus ist gemütlich eingerichtet und hat viele Sitzgelegenheiten, wo man in Ruhe lesen kann. Die Ausstattung mit Geschirr, Besteck, Gläsern, Tassen und Küchenutensilien ist super. Draußen in dem sehr großen Garten findet man immer ein schattiges Plätzchen für die Liegestühle, es gibt 2 Tische an verschiedenen Stellen mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten, einen Gasgrill und eine Außendusche mit warmem (!) Wasser, die wir gerne und oft benutzten. Sensationell fanden wir den angrenzenden Obstgarten mit Orangen-, Zitronen-, Pampelmusen- und Kumquatbäumen und den Gemüsegarten mit Zucchini- und Tomatenpflanzen : wir durften nämlich alles ernten, was reif war. Die "private Badestelle", die man zu Fuß in etwa 5 Minuten erreichte, war für uns auch optimal. Den sehr guten Gesamteindruck rundeten Francesca und Carlo ab. Ich glaube, es gibt keine besseren Gastgeber als die beiden. Schon die Kommunikation im Vorfeld (auf Spanisch) war äußerst angenehm. Dann wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und fühlten uns sofort willkommen. Und die Grundausstattung an Lebensmitteln und Getränken, die wir in der Küche vorfanden, bestärkte unseren Eindruck, dass wir eher wie Freunde als wie Fremde behandelt wurden. Da kann ich abschließend nur sagen : molto molto grazie !!!

Enchanteur

L'endroit est magnifique. On est entouré par la nature. Il y a le jardin avec ses arbres qui sentent bon, il y a le verger contigu où l'on peut aller cueillir quelques oranges pour son petit déjeuner, il y a la lande sauvage que l'on traverse pour arriver à la mer. Pour les amoureux de la nature, c'est le paradis. La maison est rustique mais agréable à vivre. Francesca et Carlo sont très sympathiques, prévenants et réactifs. Il y avait plein de petites victuailles (des fruits, des oeufs, du café, etc) ce qui est bien pratique lorsqu'on vient juste quelques jours. Nous avons été enchantés et aimerions beaucoup revenir en été.

Amazing place close to Syracusa

Excellent location and accomodation. The house is nice and comfortable, at just 10 minutes by car from Syracusa, in a silent and beautiful place. There is a small beach at 5 minutes walk, away from the crowd.The house is charming, very clean, authentic, and offer a lot of space for a five person family. The garden is greatly laid out, with nice trees and plants, and offer tables to eat outside with some nice seawiews ! Francesca and her husband were very helpful and welcomed us with a lovely food supplies and a nice bottle of wine. We loved everything and really appreciated the place. Syracusa is a wonderful city, with amazing points of view. We strongly recommanded this house for a family stay. Our only regret was to leave this great house :) Thank you for everything, your hospitality, the wine and the great zucchinis. Best Regards.

Fantastic property for families

This was one of the best properties we have stayed in in all of the years we have been renting through HomeAway. This rustic, traditional farmhouse is spacious and comfortable, full of atmosphere, with air-conditioning in all the bedrooms, a shady garden with hammocks (which our children really enjoyed in particular) and a lovely patio with views of the sea. The house is ten minutes' drive from a lovely beach with easy parking, and there are a number of good restaurants nearby. We would particularly recommend Onda Blu for Sea Food and the Cafe de la Mar for breakfast. Francesca, the owner, was extremely helpful and was kind enough to leave some food and beverages when we arrived.

Großes Haus fußläufig zur Küste

Die Kommunikation vorab mit Francesca war auf englisch problemlos möglich. Der Empfang mit gefülltem Kühlschrank sehr herzlich. Das Haus ist groß und rustikal. Die Küste ist zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen, allerdings war der Strand für unsere Familie mit 3 kleinen Kindern (4,2,0 Jahre) nicht optimal. Die Bucht ist aber landschaftlich wunderschön und für größere Kinder sicher ein Erlebnis! Syrakus ist sehr schnell zu erreichen und ein tolles Ausflugsziel.

This was paradise!

We were totally surprised by the location - a bit of secluded paradise on the edge of heaven! The place is more than adequate for three families - and would provide the young or the “young-ar-heart” fascinating explorations. The house fits the Sicilian countryside - a tranquil piece of solitude from a busy world. Francesca and Carlo had our home well stocked for the first night (complete with fresh oranges from the trees nearby) and provided directions for additional supplies or recreation. We could walk to our own private beach, explore lanes and orchards or sit on the patio and watch the sun set! We did not want to leave! Our biggest mistake: book for only three nights!

Such an amazing place for holiday

We spent our Easter holidays in this fantastic typical Italian country house and everything was just relaxingly perfect! Francesca gave us a warm welcome, introducing us to every detail of the place and provided a half full fridge and cupboard-including the best oranges we got throughout the whole holidays. Everything was as described and shown in the pictures or even better. Our three kids-8, 4 and 1 year old enjoyed the hugh sunny garden and the cosy fireplace. Even if evenings were chilly in early April it provided warmth in the house. With perfect weather we made walks in the never ending flowering landscape surrounding the place, even to the stunning coastline with fossils and little sandy beaches here and there. We made also short trips to Ortygia, to the archeological site and to the canyon of the Cassibile river and there were still more things to see and explore! Francesca, I'm very thankful for sharing your wonderful family place with us. I just hope we might be back one day!!!

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Das Landhaus in den Feldern ist wirklich weg von allem, aber nur gute 5 Minuten Fußweg vom Meer und ca. eine Viertelstunde Autofahrt von Syrakus entfernt. Es handelt sich um ein altes Landhaus mit großen, hohen Räumen, die auch im Sommer schön kühl bleiben, in Mitten eines riesiges Grundstücks mit fantastischem Ausblick zum Meer. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man so benötigt, es gibt einen schönen Grillplatz und - bei uns besonders beliebt - eine Freiluftdusche mit warmem Wasser. Als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge auch sehr zu empfehlen, da eben ganz nah zu Syrakus und allen möglichen anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Hausbesitzer sind ganz reizend und haben uns eher wie Freunde empfangen als zahlende Gäste. Wir waren zu sechst und allen hat es fantastisch in Plemmirio und in dem schönen Haus gefallen.

Tout était parfait. La description du site correspond bien à la réalité. Idéal pour ceux/celles qui veulent profiter d'une belle maison, d'un environnement idéal, d'une plage "privée" à 10 minutes (à pied !) et d'un accueil chaleureux en italien et en anglais.

Pour un séjour au calme

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine dans cette maison. C'est une demeure de charme, typique qui a de beaux extérieurs, jardin, terrasse...idéal pour les enfants. Nous avons été très bien accueilli, des denrées avaient été préparées par Francesca et son mari que nous remercions à nouveau. Nous avons pu installer une petite piscine pour les enfants sur la terrasse. Le seul bémol, que je n'avais pas identifié lors de ma réservation, est que la maison est en plein champs, il n'y a pas de route pour y accéder vous devez emprunter un chemin agricole . Cela rend difficile les sorties hors de la propriété qui en plus se trouve à l'entrée d'une plage/crique assaillie par les locaux et les touristes. D'ailleurs, les propriétaires nous ont conseillé soit de ne pas sortir pendant le WE, soit de sortir tôt le matin et rentrer tard le soir. Il y a une petite crique accessible à pied mais uniquement pour les adultes, elle est inaccessible pour des enfants - trop dangereuse.

THIS IS PARADISE!

This place is heaven on earth! We are a Swedish family of five and have travelled extensively in Southern Italy and we all agreed that this was one of the best houses of all times. It is a beautifully restored stables, spacious and decorated in an old school Italian way. The garden is huge, with hammock, veranda (which our boys used as a football ground), two outdoor sitting groups, olive and pine trees, as well as lemon, orange and kumquat trees. We picked oranges every morning- lovely! The sea shore is beautiful too and perfect for our kids 8-13 years old, and the water crystal clear. (You have a good sea view from the house) There are lots of things to discover only a short car ride away like, Siracusa, Noto, Catania and the amazing necropolis di Pantalica. And Etna too, which we didn't have time for this time. Francesca and Carlo were helpful, generous and kind. Perfects hosts. Once back in Sweden in was snowing and we can't wait to go back to this gem of a villa.

Tranquilidad, mar y campo a un paso de Siracusa

Fantástica ubicación en el campo, a un corto paseo a pie del mar. Es la base perfecta para explorar el sureste de la isla: a sólo 15 minutos de Siracusa y en un radio de 45 minutos de lugares como Noto y las reservas naturales de Cavagrande y Vendicari entre otros. La casa es bonita, amplia, cómoda y muy limpia. Tiene mucho terreno, ideal para los niños y resultó muy agradable cenar al aire libre. La guinda la pusieron los propietarios, haciéndonos sentir como en casa y con su inestimable información, además en español. Repetiremos seguro.

Un casa familiale eccessionale

Il nostro soggiorno alla casa di Francesca e Carlo e stato molto piacevole. Ci siamo stati con I nostri due raggazzi (13 - 16 anni). Abbiamo trovatto il posto molto bello. Vicino al mare, vicino a Siracusa, tranquilissimo, e con tutto quello che ci vuole: dal Wifi al BBQ! Ci torneremo per sicurro! Nou savons sejourne dans la maison de Francesca et Carlo avec nos 2 adolescents de 12 et 16 ans. la maison est tres bien equipee, du wifi au BBQ, en passant par l'air conditionne. La mer est a quelques centaines de metres, Siracuse a quelques kilometres. l'environement est tres calme et la vue superbe depuis le jardin ou les amandiers font de l'ombre pour la sieste! Just Perfect!

A perfect house for a stress free holiday - beautiful, comfortable, clean and spacious with air-conditioning, and WI-FI, set in a tranquil, rural location off the beaten track with stunning cliffs and sea-views. The house is set in large grounds with a spacious terrace, various seating areas for either sun or shade, hammock, outdoor hot shower, (great idea!), and is surrounded by olive trees, almond trees, palms and flowers. We used the outdoor dining and BBQ area daily and long into the night to enjoy leisurely alfresco meals. The clear sea, (great for snorkelers!), and secluded rock bays are just a short walk away with amazing views of Ortigia. A small grocery shop, and pizzerie/restaurants, which also do take-away, are just a short drive away and historic Siracusa and Ortigia just a 15 minute drive, car essential! Thank you to our hosts Francesca and Carlo who were warm, welcoming and informative. We had a great time! A perfect house for a family holiday!
