Situated just 18 km outside of Heraklion, in the area of Ano Gouves,
Villa Kokalis is the magical villa were your dream for unforgettable
holidays in Crete can come true.
Upon entering the villa a tastefully furnished interior welcomes you.
There are two living rooms, one with an impressive marble fireplace
with large windows viewing the pool and another, even more spacious,
with sofas and great views of the garden. In addition, there is a
workspace for those who wish to combine vacation with work. A
comfortable dining room, with a seating arrangement for several
guests, is connected with the spacious kitchen which is equipped with
the most modern appliances. The outstanding marble staircase
with the handmade railing leads to the first floor Where is it located the master suite comes with a king bed and a hot tub.It is equipped with air conditioning, satellite TVs, wardrobes, mosquito screens and balconies
with great vie.ws either to the sea or to the mountains. There is also
a fully equipped room with a washing machine, dryer, iron, iron board
and storage cupboards. At the external area of the villa, there is a
well-maintained swimming pool with sun loungers, gardens with
ornamental plants, small children’s pool, a children’s playground and
a BBQ area. Villa Kokalis is good for couples, families (with kids),
groups and for those who are searching for peace, tranquillity and
privacy. Car parking with a secured gate is also available.

Perfect holiday in a relaxing, luxurious villa

My family and I had never travelled to Crete prior to this holiday but after a short period of searching we decided to book this villa due to its location and the impression given on the listing. We were definitely not disappointed, the villa is magnificent with 5 perfectly decorated and equipped bedrooms, open plan living areas and connecting kitchen leading out to the pool. Eva and her husband Atonis were the perfect hosts providing information as requested and making sure we were comfortable during our stay. The villa is located just beyond the old village of Gouves where you can find traditional local tavernas and come small shops for the basic essentials, a short drive to the beachfront of Gouves you have many more restaurants, taverns, shops and a few beautiful beaches to choose from. Further along the cost you have the livelier Hersonossis with a plethora of bars, restaurants, shops and water sports not to mention go karts etc so a great place to keep the younger members of your party entertained. All in all we couldnt recommend this stunning villa strongly enough and will certainly return in the future (god willing). Eva's hospitality and friendliness is unquestionable, a true diamond of Crete.

Bedden werden maar 1 keer schoon gemaakt 7 dagen tijd, terwijl we betaald hadden voor 1 keer in de 2 dagen. Warm water was niet aanwezig wat erg vervelend was met douchen.

Lovely Villa

We stayed for a week in this beautiful villa. As a party of 7 ranging in age from 13 to 83 it was perfect for all of us. The Villa has 5 bedrooms all ensuite and each bedroom has its own terrace. The communal space is zoned with various areas to relax or eat. By far our favourite room was the kitchen. It is bright, modern, well appointed and includes a large American style fridge freezer. We’ve stayed in numerous large Villas around Europe over the last 7 years and this Kitchen was my favourite! Upstairs is a separate laundry room. From the kitchen you have direct access to the outside terrace and pool area where we spent the vast majority of out time. This area gets the sun from morning to night. The pool isn’t huge but for us it was ideal as you could have a bit of a swim, a float or a cool down. One of the best things about this property is the lovely owner Eva. She is there frequently to make sure everything is going well and she provided fresh towels mid-week and removed the rubbish. She made us a fantastic meal one evening, Greek hospitality is incredible. Eva has engaged a wonderful guy called Vasileios to help manage booking and communication. His English is perfect and he was there to meet us and show us around the Villa. He also provided ideas and recommendations of where to visit during our stay and was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I’m sure you will have a great time if you choose to stay in this Villa. Would definitely recommend hiring a car.

Villa kokalis resort is a very well known place within tourism for many years now. Hospitality (philoxenia) and all the things that surround it, is our first and main priority and many who have stayed and know this relaxing resort will relate to it.we have come to a decision to turn a new page to our resort and meet our guests first hand as we always liked to know people from different countries and cultures and talk about the place,their plans and give the best recommendations around the island. The purchase of this property was definitely my personal choice. In an attempt to escape from everyday routine, I was in search of an area that combines sea and mountain, not far away but secluded and tranquil at the same time.
Years later I realized when my four children grew up and flew like
birds that the space was too big for me and my husband We decided together to make it available for tourism. I believe that our choice was right and that our future visitors will also like it.
