Love this place!

This is our second time staying at Smoky Cascades, and we absolutely love it! The cabin looks exactly the same as it did in 2017 when we last stayed here. The view from the front and the waterfall near the back porch make sitting on the porch so relaxing. Eden Crest checked in the first day to see if everything was good, and they were quick to send someone out when the light fixture in the bathroom stopped working the 2nd day we were there, and someone to look at the fireplace that wouldn't turn on. The maintenance crew was friendly and polite too.

Family trip 2025

My children and I had a wonderful Smoky mountain getaway and loved staying at this cabin. The location was convenient and the hot tub and fireplace made nights recovering from a funfilled and busy day so enjoyable! The waterfall nearby was a nice touch also! touch also!

Great place, poor communication

The cabin was very nice. Our only complaints are playing pool was a tight squeeze, the TV channels didn’t work, and there was mold in the shower. We spent a lot of time in the cabin so those things did cause a nuisance, but still a really nice place. Dealing with the property manager however was not a fun experience. I called them to possibly get an early check in for 3 pm. Check in was at 4 or any time after that when they get it clean per the agreement I signed. The property manager told me at 3 that the place wasn’t clean yet but I would get a text when it was. I still haven’t gotten a text to this day (one day after our trip). We sat in the drive way of the cabin from three until four knowing no one was in the cabin cleaning it. If I had continued to wait on a text I still wouldn’t have been inside. My husband and I decided to see if our key code worked and if the cabin was clean for ourselves. The cabin was spotless and very nice despite being told it wasn’t clean yet. If they are going to say in the rental agreement that we aren’t allowed inside even at 4 unless the cabin is clean, there needs to be better communication on when the cabin is actually clean and when renters can go inside. I know renters are not entitled to an early check in, but communication is key.

Great cabin and location

The cabin was clean and well maintained. We loved the area and it wasn’t too far out from town. Love that the neighborhood and cabin decorated for the season. An overall nice place to stay!

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was exactly what we were looking for in a getaway. The kids really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. We couldn’t figure out the tv in the living room but didn’t really need it. We sat out on the porch a lot and walked down to the waterfalls that were out back. It was a great place to stay.

Honey Moon Trip: Didn’t go as expected

The cabin was spacious and comfortable! Plenty of space and good for a honeymoon. The cabin is ina great neighborhood, kitchen is very well stocked! First, the only reason I mentioning the concerns below are just to help the next guests /owners. Everything was pretty clean after we looked around the first night. I did notice a little bit of mold in the shower, and mold on the wood above the shower. I know mold stains are hard to remove, but this is not what you want to find on your honeymoon. Especially when there’s only one shower in the cabin. Also, the shower curtain needs to be removed. It was very old, and also had a little bit of mold at the bottom of the shower curtain. The second night, we went to the upstairs loft area, I sat down on the bed and noticed there was a crusty white mark on the middle of the bedspread. Our third night in, the electric fireplace stopped working. That was one of the reasons I had booked this cabin. We stayed for seven nights for our honeymoon. And it only worked two of the seven nights. I would have to say those are very small things to be upset about, but when I called the office to see if there was anything that we could have done to fix these concerns, they were not very helpful. I talked to two different ladies, and the only thing they did was send a maintenance guy to the cabin the following day for the fireplace. Just to find out, the igniter was broken, and they were having to order another part.

Needed Getaway

The cabin was so nice! We used the hot tub every evening. The location was perfect as well. We were close enough to get places easily and yet away from all the traffic. It was perfect and we are planning to return!

Somewhat disappointed

The good- property was beautiful and clean. The bad-bed is extremely uncomfortable we woke up with back aches. The hot tub was not working properly (I believe it was in the timer) the jets were not working, there is a pinhole leak in the shower that would squirt out onto the floor, the shower controls are very loose. I notified management company that assured me they would send someone out. That didn’t happen. Ad is misleading makes it sound as if the pool and lake were close instead of miles away. I respectfully ask for a partial refund. Thank you. James Rose

Summers Bachelorette party

We came to Tennessee for my sister in laws bachelorette party. We had a blast. The cabin was great to come back and have movie nights, hang out in the hot tub or even go for a walk and explore.

We loved this property. It was clean and spacious. Note that there are no actual bedrooms with doors. Lower level has one room off the living room and there is a loft upstairs.

Last minute getaway

My wife and I decided to book a quick getaway away at the last minute. We booked on Friday and checked in on Sunday. The cabin was everything that it claimed to be. It was very clean and quiet. Really enjoyed our short stay and will be booking again.

Honeymoon

We enjoyed the property, views, activities near and the food!! Cabin was a perfect size and definitely enjoyed our stay. Had some ants near the sink and window area in the kitchen but we changed the cooking plans and ate out, thoroughly enjoyed our picks. Thank you

Great Getaway

The Eden Crest staff was wonderful! I made a last minute booking and they worked with me to get all check-in documents signed and delivered on time, so I could check in late. The cabin was beautiful! I loved sitting on the back porch and listening to the water fall. The only issue was the hot tub jets cannot be run without tripping the breaker. The couch and mattress need updating. Everything else was wonderful!
