The house was great for larger families. It would be great if some of the “decorative” furniture could be removed…also not a great home for crawling toddlers. There were a lot of trinkets that we had to move up during our stay. Also, definitely no beach views as advertised. But overall very fun experience!

We had a wonderful stay we especially loved the large deck space and easy access to the beach. Kitchen was loaded with supplys. They need a new toilets -they were kid size in both bathrooms. Overall it was another incredible trip to Pajaro Dunes. Its the best seashell and Kite flying beach ever.Michael-Anna-Ruby-Miles-Willow-Skylee

Disappointed

A cousins' trip to Pajaro Dunes is the highlight of each summer. This year was the first we found the accommodations to be lacking. This unit would really benefit from taking care of some overdue maintenance items (we had to have a sink and shower repaired), including black mold around faucet bases and very worn cookware and pillows. The unit smells musty, like it is not often used. It has layer after layer of decor everywhere -- so much so that we had to clear off tables to hold our things. The clutter made it not relaxing and restful like most of your units are. The unit has a nice location and layout, so we are hopeful that reviews like this one will help encourage some maintenance and updates to take place.

Inaccurate description

The property was quiet and clean. The beach was a short walk. However, there is no ocean view as stated in the title. All you can see is the river and dunes. Had I know there was no actual ocean view, I would have chosen a different place to stay. The breaker trips when you use both bathroom exhaust fans at the same time. .

Overall great stay

My wife and two adult children enjoyed our stay at Pajaro Dunes. The condo was well equipped and in good condition. The proximity to the ocean was great. Having the pickle ball courts on-hand was a hit. The location is convenient for visits north and south. We spent time in Monterey, Big Sur, and Henry Cowell State Park, as well as Pajaro Dunes. Even though some activities were limited due to the heavy rains this year, we still found plenty to do and enjoy.

Pleasant Place

We enjoyed our stay. The weather was beautiful. We walked to the beach easily and used the provided beach chairs. We were disappointed that the BBQ availability had changed recently. No barbecuing is allowed. Other than that a nice time at the beach.

Tranquil

This was a beautiful place to stay especially if you want coziness mixed with lots of original artwork and a house filled with all you might need. It faces the marsh, bird area, but the ocean is just a minute walk down the board path and over a small dune. Great place!

It is a nice property with all the comforts of home. Pajaro Dunes stated there is a Mr. Coffee like coffee maker & it does, but this unit also has a Kurig. There beds were really comfortable. I was very impressed with the quality of the pours and pans in the kitchen, usually vaca rentals have the worst cookware. We couldn’t see the ocean from this unit, so that was a little disappointing. It is a quick walk to get to the beach. The location is great to get to Santa a Cruz and Monterey.

Wow, the pelicans!

Great spot for kids with easy access to the beach. With a wonderful view of the Pajaro River we all loved watching, with the provided binoculars, hundreds of white and brown pelicans resting and feeding right in front of us. Amazing beach that goes on forever.

We had an overall great experience staying at this condo. We would definitely return. A few issues to address, but it did not affect our stay. For your information: Gas tank for grill was empty. Light in bathroom off master bedroom was out. Toaster only toasts one side. One blind does not go up and down. Check in process was a little confusing for us. A short explanation on this would help. Ex. Park by gate and walk through to office to check in. Office is not clearly marked and this was our first time here.

Our 4 day stay

The condo was as advertised, comfortable and well equiped! I set the smoke alarm off while cooking pancakes to the entire building. It was quickly shut off. I also had a dead battery and security came out and gave me a jump start. Unfortunately I was awakened by a terrible skunk smell at 4:30 am on our last day. I reported the problem to the property manager.

Lovely Beach Condo

This was the perfect place for our small family. Plenty of space, well equipped, and perfect location. Also really enjoyed the amenities around the resort; ie., pickle ball, volleyball, ping pong. This was a great weekend getaway.

Beautiful bright windows and comfortable furniture

My friend and I had a ton of work to get done, so I really wanted a place that was bright and comfortable for inside work. This condo was perfect for that. Big windows, great view of the river and its pelicans, and seating on a comfy day bed off the dining room and great couches in the living room. Our only issue was some loud guests staying above us, but that can be hit or miss anywhere you are in a multilevel place. Other positives include a well-stocked kitchen, beautiful walks right out the door, and comfortable beds and bedding.

Pleasant comfortable condo.

It was very nice. Could use more closet/drawer space. Kitchen well-supplied except for good cooking pans. A fire alarm went off while we were there. Other owners/guests seemed not to react when I went outside? After calling the gate, response came.

Spacious, with spectacular sunrises! Steps from the beach; Adjacent to bird sanctuary; Quiet. Ideal for children's sand activities. First floor. No climbing stairs. Great for seniors, teens with their surf boards, romantic getaway, and families with young children. All ages flying kites.
