Very nice accommodation, great location and beautiful countryside. Lots to do locally, great walks and small play area at the GinGang which the children loved and used regularly, including the pool table.
Spacious accommodation, nice to have a large separate dining area and lounge.
Reasonably easy to find the accommodation, use the traffic lights as a clue that you are virtually there.
Accessibility
There is a room on ground floor. Parking space outside.
The hosts provided a frame for the toilet but tight fit for anyone plus sized.
Kitchen floor has fashionable but uneven tile flooring. If you need walking stick be careful as can be a trip hazard.
Downstairs additional toilet handy but needs a grab rail for support
Need touch lamps downstairs as very awkward to turn light off when in bed, particularly if you have bad arthritis.
Observations.
As it is a conversion barn, sky lights in the roof for windows but unless you are tall, it is really hard to open them unless you stand on the bed or chair which is a bit dodgy.
The blinds with them are bit confusing as no obvious way to pull up or down so if that was included in the welcome pack, be very helpful. Might have been us but for any 5'4 or under, be aware.
Knives - are blunt and could not be sharpened even though we did try. Helpful if new sets can replace them as notice other reviews have mentioned this problem.
Overall highly recommend but if you require accessibility, talk to the hosts prior booking.
