Great house with wonderful swimming pool

Very nice and well equipped villa, we were very comfortable and even on days when the sea was not practicable having a swimming pool where you could swim and sunbathe was pleasant. Thank you.

Entschleunigung abseits des Massentourismus

das Haus ist in einem guten Zustand, alles gepflegt und so wie beschrieben. die umgebung ist wenig touristisch, aber zum entspannen perfekt. das meer fällt sehr flach ab mit feinem sand. der strand ist menschenleer. wir haben die stille und ungestörtheit sehr genossen. Es gibt viele möglichkeiten zu verweilen, vor allem am großzügigen Pool. Aber auch spannende Wanderungen und andere Abenteuer sind in der Umgebung möglich wenn man etwas nachforscht.

Urlaub an einem wunderschönen Fleckchen Erde

Die Villa ist in einem sehr gepflegten Zustand! Sie ist stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Alles ist sehr großzügig. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Vielen lieben Dank!

Traumhafte Lage direkt am Meer

Wir waren als Familie mit 2 Kindern dort und hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Traumhafte Lage direkt am Meer. Der Ausblick ist einfach atemberaubend. Die Übergabe war unkompliziert und die Gastgeber sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Einfache Kommunikation über Telefon oder Email. Die Villa bietet alles was man braucht und ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Wir kommen gern nochmal wieder..

Sehr schöne Villa mit viel Platz und direkt am Meer

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und super erholt. Der Urlaub ist aber nur geeignet für Leute, die etwas mit dieser Freiheit anfangen können. Man kann sich über Müll am Strand aufregen oder man macht seinen Strandabschnitt eben selber sauber! (Das ist aber in ganz Griechenland ein Problem) Man kann sich über Hunde aufregen, oder man bezieht sie in den Urlaub ein. Zur Anlage der Ionian Islands gehören 2 schöne Hunde (Bella und Ruby) - gegen ein kleines "Trinkgeld" (Hundefutter) an die beiden hatten wir 2 liebe und aufmerksame Wachhunde, die den Mietwagen und das Objekt in der Nacht bewacht haben. Wir hoffen, die nächsten Urlauber geben den 2en auch eine Chance. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es nur, da einige Abnutzungen vorlagen - aber nix Dramatisches. Pool war super, sogar Schlachboot zum Paddeln war da. Man kann von dort aus herrlich die Umgebung erkunden - besonders sie Inseln. Es hat uns (wir waren 7) sehr gut gefallen!!

Nice house by the sea in a recent development in a remote location

The house is modern, bright, clean and comfortable, and well equipped. Six of us had plenty of space. The pool is great, and though the beach is small and not very clean it was good to be right by the sea. The location is remote, about 5km from Kyllini in a small development. This area of Greece is undeveloped and rural, the landscape flat. Kyllini is for ferries to the islands, and has some restaurants, but we found it much nicer to eat at the house. We were visited by local dogs, which we didn't mind but some might. On our first evening all the power failed.Though people responded quickly, it took 24 hours and many visits from neighbors/friends/electricians to fix it, which impacted on our ability to use the house and was pretty stressful. The owners agreed to refund us one day's rent in light of this. The high deposit is more than we have been accustomed to paying for renting a holiday house. The day before the holiday we were given a choice between leaving the house pristine for the next guests (no cleaner) or paying a very substantial sum extra for a cleaner. This should have been in the description, we felt.

Brilliant!!! 4.5 out of 5 stars. A great property!

We loved staying here. Fantastic property with all the amenities you would ever want. The pool is exceptional. The beach is great fun and nice and shallow meaning kids can use it easily. Air con in each room, very very clean and tidy. Close (15min drive) to Castro, an unspoilt castle town great for tavernas. Also close to Olympia (1hr) which has a great honey farm (Clios) and very interesting archaeological sites and museums. The owners are very nice, as is Mary who is always on hand and very friendly. Tee hope to come back soon. Thanks!!

Nice House for Ocean Viewing and older children

Three stars for families with young children. We booked this house for one week for four adults and two small children (<3 years) for kids to play on the beach and enjoy the pool. The house is in a small development in the middle of farm fields about 5 km from town. Half of the homes are not finished with very few people around. Two of the three bedrooms upstairs have their own bathroom, the fourth bedroom downstairs shares the bathroom with the livingroom. The house is nicely decorated but tricky with small children. The kitchen is very well equipped with every appliance, even an ice cube maker. The washing machine came in handy with 2 small children. The outdoor dining furniture was great for breakfast and dinner. The pool is very large and clean, even attracting frogs for a morning swim. The pool has no shallow area for kids to play. The sandy beach in front of the house is littered with trash of every kind. We had to be very careful with our children when playing in the sand. We cleared and cleaned a part of the beach in front of the house, but it littered overnight. A big part of the beach was washed away in a storm. Once you enter the water sand gives away to slimmy clay. Therefore the water is not clear and not inviting. There is a sandbar further out. We ended up driving for 20 minutes to much cleaner beaches with far less trash. The house is 5 km to town with great food choices including fresh fish and easy access to ferry to islands. The security deposit is quite large. We ended up paying a lot in exchange fees. Summary: Great house for looking at ocean but not swimming. Better suited for families with older children.
