Excellent Family Get Away

Just returned from Fourth of July, 2017. Was celebrating my husband's 55th birthday and my son graduating from high school. We all equally enjoyed are stay here. My son loved it so much, he wants to move to Virginia from NY!! Only thing wish the pool was opened later for adults. Could have more adult entertainment. But definitely ideal for family getaway.

Pushy Salespeople

The accommodation was fine, and since we weren't really there except to sleep, "fine" worked out alright. The coffee maker didn't work properly, our TV was very low quality, and the toilet ran all night long. On the other hand, the bed was very comfy, and it was nice to have access to a balcony. The reason for two stars is that the staff borderline-harassed us about attending a timeshare meeting. We spent ten minutes at check-in telling them we weren't interested and resisting their 10 counter-offers. I feel like when I say I'm not interested, that should be the end of the conversation since I am a paying guest, and on vacation at that. Also, this is not exactly how I wanted to spend my energy after several hours on the road, with a triathlon to worry about the next morning. It was made worse by the several follow-up calls we received throughout the weekend reminding us that we could still attend a timeshare meeting, including a call at 9AM that woke up our entire house. When I pay hundreds of dollars to stay a weekend somewhere, I do not want to expend energy convincing people we are not interested in attending a timeshare meeting. Overall the accommodation was fine, but next time I'll stay somewhere where I won't have to spend my few free minutes on the phone with the sales team.

Clean and cozy condo

Good location near the Busch Gardens. My family enjoyed the indoor pool of the resort. There is not a jet bath tub in the condo while there are jacuzzi areas in the indoor pool of the resort.

Overall very enjoyable stay

Check in process was long. Discounts to Busch Gardens & water country USA offered in return for sitting through 2 hr timeshare presentation. Told at check in that indoor pool wasn’t open due to staffing. (I would have selected one of the many other nearby resorts if I knew this ahead of time). Unit was large, modern, very clean. Couch had a tear, and a stain on a cushion. Footstool/ottoman had a broken wheel. Rooms were large. Beds extremely comfortable. Kitchen was fully equipped and our 2 bedroom unit was perfect for our family of six. Great convenient location. Family really enjoyed the outdoor pool, mini golf, and staff interactions were excellent. Timeshare presentation was entertaining but not for us (rates ridiculously high) and had to get to the point where I threatened to cause a scene if the timeshare sales team didn’t return our driver’s licenses after 2hrs 20 mins. They push very hard to sell you (but that is their job). Overall a very good location and a good vacation.

Great last minute weekend getaway

Chris was great to deal with and was very attentive and prompt with emails. The property was nice an comfortable for 4 adults and 1 child. We enjoyed Busch Gardens and just cruising around the area.

Needs Updating

The unit was clean, however, it does need some maintenance. There was a large bald spot in the carpet as you entered into the living space. The walls in the bathroom had been painted with satin paint but was touched up with flat paint and was very noticeable. While the furniture was functional it shows quite a bit of wear. We did not open the sofa to use as a bed, so we can not say whether it was comfortable. It has wonderful water pressure, however, the type of shower heads that are in use create such pattern that it stings the skin and creates an incredibly loud whistle. It feels as though you are being pressure washed. Also, we told the concierge that we were not interested in the gifts and presentation, but he was quite persistent in his attempt to get us to participate.

Absolutely Beautiful!!

Chris was great to work with! The resort was better than expected!! It was clean and just perfect!! We loved the pools I wish we could visit weekly. The put put golf was nice too! We will certainly be back!

VERY NICE Surroundings

Overall the location was nice place, clean, lots to do in the area. Location near shop center. FISHING was good. We had a very nice time. Only one problem had to switch unit due to water leaks and flooding. RESORT help us to move.
