Perfect location for visiting Lincoln. Fabulous house described as family friendly cottage and that's exactly what it was. Had everything we needed for a long weekend with all the facilities. Lovely and clean and well looked after.

Good experience from check in to check out, good communication and accurate information.The cottage is close to Lincoln and well furnished and equipped. Lovely views over neighbouring fields and we particularly enjoyed watching a combine at work on the first day.

We had a great stay, accommodation was very good. Everything v clean and well organised. The house is lovely and plenty of room for 8 adults. A couple of minor suggestions: a potato masher in kitchen would be useful, also maybe consider another fridge in utility room. Finally downstairs bedroom was v cold, perhaps radiator not fully functioning? All other rooms were lovely and warm. Thank you for a great stay, would def recommend

Delightful family stay

Lovely house in a peaceful location. Clean, spacious and comfy, we had a great time meeting up with family of all ages. Kitchen is well equipped, sitting rooms cosy and very useful utility too. Would stay again. Thank you!

Incredible stay!

We stayed at the cottage for a girls weekend, it was incredible. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, the large living room blew us away with how lovely it was. The host was super helpful, would definitely recommend!

Great family stay!

Lovely, spacious house in the quiet countryside, near a quaint small town with restaurants and grocery shopping. Just a short drive from Lincoln. Our group consisted of 3 adults and 2 young children. The kids loved playing in the back yard, and we made day trips to the aquarium and a carnival. Kate was very communicative and the house was clean and well-appointed. We all enjoyed our stay, and being out in the quiet countryside I don't think I've ever slept so well!

Secret house

The property was in excellent condition. Facilites that were available to use were very satisfactory. The location is isolated but we liked that.generally the house was clean.welcome pagk was lovely. Would stay again.

We are a group of 10 friends that go away every year to catch up and have been doing so for the past 12 years. This accommodation is in the middle of nowhere which is one of the reasons why we chose it. Its great for spending quality time with each other. I can honestly say the property is one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in, it was spotless.It had everything we could possibly need, well apart from a pizza cutter ha ha!! The large living room is so cosy with underfloor heating, a great communal area. Just a little tip....if you do an online food shop don't go with Asda. They said they pulled up to the gate (which is on a long driveway) but the gate was locked and no one answered the contact number we had provided. This was simply not true. This meant we had no food or drink and so one of the couples had to go out and do the full food shop which really wasn't ideal.

Memorable stay @ stunning property

We are a group of 5 couples in our early sixties. We go away 2 or 3 times a year in the uk and abroad. We look for places with character, space, quieter locations ( so we don’t annoy anyone ) that are well equipped and near places of interest. This place exceeded expectations- beautiful location, lovely up to date accommodation, great beds, linen, towels, well equipped and very clean. Its proximity to Lincoln and local attractions was first class. The hosts were very quick to respond to us as we needed. Would return again for sureMark and our gang

Christmas at Cliff Cottage

Lovely property spacious and really comfortable . Perfect for our group of 6 for a family Christmas. Well equipped kitchen and 4 bathrooms gave us plenty of space. Huge living space with views over the fields and appreciated the Christmas decorations.

A Lovely Countryside Retreat

A great property for a stay with a group of friends or family. Lincoln, with all its amenities is a short drive away. The house is set on an arable farm and we saw lots of Hares and Rabbits! The property is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 10 people and I can happily recommend it to others.

Easter family get together

A large property with a good number of bathroom facilities to suit 3 different family groups. There was a great attention to detail and the owner had kindly supplied a welcome hamper including an Easter egg! I would certainly recommend this property.

It was a very nice property in its own grounds. Big enough to cater for eight of us without any pressure, and very well situated for ease of access to Lincoln. Probably a very good place to stay in the summer but our circumstances meant that we had to stay in December so missed out on the good weather. But there was enough to do indoors to keep everyone entertained.

Lovely property, as described. All the facilities we needed for a weekend with friends. Beds were wonderful and the property very roomy with a large kitchen and two longe areas. Unfortunately it rained throughout our visit so we were unable to fully enjoy the garden

Lincoln weekend away

Lovely spacious property in an excellent location to explore Lincoln. The property is kitted out with all essential equipment and it was a nice touch from Kate the host to leave a few little treats on arrival alongside tea, coffee, milk etc. We were a group made up of 2 families and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only a few miles from the lovely village of Welton that had all amenities required. We had an issue with the heating but Kate provided us with some electric heaters and got a plumber in as soon as she possibly could to fix the issue.Would highly recommend.

Excellent New Year's Stay

We had a brilliant stay at this house in Welton over New Year playing games and eating too much! It's a really beautifully kept house, lots of room for our group of 10 and a lovely, well appointed kitchen. The hosts have a great guide to the house and how to use all the appliances and they're easily contactable if there are any issues. We absolutely wouldn't hesitate to book this property again. Thoroughly recommend!

Exactly what was advertised! Perfect for our family trip.

The house was perfect for our family trip for a family wedding. There was plenty of space in the bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for us all to get ready. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't too great, so we couldn't use the spacious garden, maybe next time! The treats Kate left us when we arrived were so helpful so we didn't have to run out to the shops. The house was sparkling clean and had everything we needed. We were so close to Lincoln and other lovely places but enjoyed the secluded location of the house. Thank you for having us, we hope to visit the lovely house and area again soon!

Checkin couldn't have been easier - simply collected the keys from the lock box.Kitchen was amazing, I've never stayed anywhere with such a huge supply of crockery, pot, pans & glasses. Everything we needed was there, right down to washing up liquid, bin bags, and washing machine detergent. Absolutely superb.Only a couple of small criticisms, firstly the downstairs toilet door only locks from the outside! There were 3 kids under 10 in our party so privacy was a real issue. Secondly, the apple tree in the garden was absolutely crawling with wasps and if we opened the sliding glass door they were straight into the house. We told the landscape gardener about it and he already knew there was a problem. He promised to deal with it but it made no difference, so the kids couldn't play in the garden which was a real shame.

Lovely property surrounded by arable farm land. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and 2 spacious lounges. Shower gel/ shampoo, hand soap etc all provided and milk, cheese and biscuits waiting on arrival. WiFi was good in of the bedrooms but fairly weak signal elsewhere. Host was responsive. Lincoln centre only.15 minutes drive away. A great place to stay. Would recommend.

Great stay

Only stayed 3 nights but was a lovely break. Property was beautiful and we would love to come back in the summer so we could enjoy some of the outside facilities. I did send Kate a message about rebooking but as yet I have had no reply

Lovely cottage in great location

This cottage is perfect for a family getaway. It is a close drive to Lincoln town centre. The welcome pack from the owner Kate was thoughtful and added an extra homely feel. We really enjoyed our stay.
