Remote, peace & quiet

Superb location, need a car to get to local bars and shops. No fences to spoil the 360 views, great pool, all the facilities and more you need for a relaxing break. Rafael was the perfect host, very informative welcome pack and the bottle of wine was a nice surprise.

In love with Cortijo de Las Nieves !

We were looking for an extraordinary place for relaxing and peacefull vacations. We found it in la Sierra de Las Nieves. The location itself is already just amazing. Then, you have the wonderfull house, so well equiped, so cosy with such good vibrations. We could feel it at the first walk into the house Then, the owners offered us one of the best welcome...ever ! So warmfull, very attentioned and lots of good advises on what to do around. We will definitly come back.

Relaxing week

Our week here was amazing, from the initial booking to the final stay. Rafa is a superb host, nothing is too much trouble, and the welcome pack was fantastic. The villa has everything you need, the pool went down well with our 2 girls! We didn't venture out too much, but the 360 degree views were just spectacular for a week away from it all.

Wonderful holidays! House is totally at the height of the description made on the site. Thank you R. for your kindness and constant availability! Magnificent panorama from the terraces ! Wonderful stay in Spain... where all the sanitary conditions are met+++ to make us spend a beautiful holiday despite this Covid period! What beautiful neighborhoods to see on Guaro and villages to visit around (Marbella, Ronda+++ ...) Exceptional location ! A true haven of peace. Fantastic

We had a wonderful relaxing week in this beautifully appointed villa. The panoramic views are absolutely breathtaking and there are lovely spots all around the property to enjoy them in the shade and sun. My children loved the pool, and my husband and I read and relaxed. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved it so much we only left the villa twice in a whole week! Thank you to the amazing owners for providing us with this memorable week!

"au bout du monde"

Le gîte est en tout point conforme à sa description et les photos. Panorama et paysage magnifiques. Un petit paradis "au bout du monde", avec un petit quelque chose d'africain. La douceur de l'eau de la piscine nous ont fait oublier les plages de Marbella, qui pourtant ne se trouvent qu'à 30 minutes de voiture. Encore merci à Raphael pour son accueil chaleureux et toutes ses petites attentions. En un mot "super".

Perfect Family Autumn Getaway

Excellent location away from the crowd. Secluded house with loads of character ,surrounded by overlapping mountains of olive & almond trees, as far as the eye could see. Best 360 degree view from sunrise to sunset. Very quiet and dark at night, perfect for stargazing. Very clean swimming pool. It felt like home, instantly. Great hub for exploring the Andalucian province. Well-equipped & good WiFi connection. Absolutely fabulous! Highly recommended for a refreshing family holiday!

Traumhafte Lage, sehr sauber und gepflegt

Das Haus befindet sich auf einer Anhöhe mit unglaublichem Panoramablick!!!! Der Vermieter war im Vorfeld überaus entgegen kommend, vor Ort jederzeit erreichbar und überaus freundlich! Während unseres Aufenthaltes wurde nicht nur wöchentlich die Wäsche gewechselt, sondern auch das Haus gereinigt. So viel Service gibt es selten! Die Ausstattung war gehoben, es wurde an jedes noch so kleine Detail gedacht, das Haus und die Außenanlage waren sehr sauber, und bei der Ankunft wurden wir persönlich begrüßt mit einem kleinen Willkommenspaket. Wir waren nach der langen Anreise überwältigt! Es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten rund um das Haus und einen Innenhof, in dem man bei Wind wunderbar sitzen kann. Das Haus ist verkehrstechnisch gut angebunden, lediglich das letzte Wegstück führt über eine Schotterstraße, die an einigen Stellen etwas steiler ist. Hier empfiehlt sich unbedingt ein Wagen mit mehr Bodenfreiheit und einem durchzugsstarkem Motor. Dafür hat man eine Alleinlage, die ihresgleichen sucht!!! Die größeren Orte wie Granada, Cordoba oder Sevilla sind ca. 2 Stunden entfernt, die Fahrt ist aber sehr angenehm über die Autobahn und als Tagesausflug gut möglich. Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub dort verbracht, und empfehlen dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiter! Gerne würden wir wieder kommen! Many thanks to Rafa!!!

Fabulous. Just like being at home with a better view. Our host, Rafa, was the best part of the stay. He did a wonderful job of greeting us, showing us the Villa and answering any questions we had. He recommended some places to visit and dine. All of them were tof shelf.

A gorgeous getaway

Our stay here was the epitome of "peace and quiet ". The house was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully stocked and comfortable. While the driveway was initially daunting, it was both accessible and completely secluded. The weather cooperated and we were able to swim and sunbathe in complete privacy. The house was cool and the air-conditioning worked well in the bedroom at night. Rafa was a gracious and accommodating host, and he and Andrew were responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We were able to take easy day trips to Malaga, Granada, Ronda and Marbella. Nearby Coin had more than adequate shopping and restaurants, though we cooked most of our meals in the well appointed kitchen. If you are looking for a getaway with breathtaking views that allows for sightseeing days, this is the most relaxing place there is!!

Très belle maison au sein d'un paysage à la hauteur

Propriété très bien située pour les visites dans les environs de cette belle région . Elle est en montagne, et toutefois très accessible pour les villes de bord de mer également .Par ailleurs on trouve tout ce dont on a besoin dans le village d'à côté, ou Marbella qui se trouve à une demi heure environ Nous avons adoré la décoration, les extérieurs très agréables avec une vue magnifique sur les montagnes, très belle terrasse ..Maison très propre et bien entretenue.On s'y sent bien aussi pour des vacances de farniente et de lecture à l'ombre ,sur les extérieurs Les hôtes sont charmants et plein de bons conseils pour la région , particulièrement bien organisés, vous ne serez pas pris au dépourvu quelque soit votre interrogation. Nous recommandons sans hésitation, merci à Rafa et Andy pour leur accueil

Droomhuis op een fantastische locatie

Heerlijke rust, oneindige ruimte en overweldigende luxe dat is wat wij ervaren hebben in dit karakteristieke landhuis. De eigenaren verzorgen niet alleen het huis en de inrichting optimaal, maar doen er daarbij alles aan om de gasten zich thuis te laten voelen. De terrassen rondom het huis liggen zo gunstig dat de gehele dag zowel de zon als de schaduw gekozen kan worden. Zowel de terrassen alsook het interieur zijn voorzien van comfortabel meubilair. De ruime woonkamer en slaapkamers, met eveneens ruime badkamers, zijn het vertoeven meer dan waard. Wij hebben bijzonder genoten van ons verblijf en deze prachtige villa is een absolute aanrader. Herzlicher Empfang, fantastische Aussicht, stilvolle Einrichtung

Rafael hat uns schon im Vorfeld viele Infos gesendet und uns seine Freude über unser Kennenlernen übermittelt. Der Empfang war warmherzig und die Übergabe des Cortijos speditiv/informativ. Die Einrichtung ist sehr stilvoll und hat alles was es braucht um tolle und entspannte Ferien zu verbringen. Wir habe öfters selber gekocht, alles da um ein gediegenes Mahl vorzubereiten und im Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Schöne Außenanlagen mit Pool, chillout Sofa, genügend Sitz- und Liegegelegenheiten. Die Lage ist ideal für Ausflüge ans Meer oder in die Berge. Ein tolles Haus, das wir von Herzen weiter empfehlen können.

The most wonderful place to stay!

We had spent the first week of our two week trip in Andalusia exploring the region's beautiful cities before retreating up into the mountains for some much needed relaxation. When we first arrived at Andy and Rafa's countryside villa we were certainly not disappointed! The house itself is beautiful and is fully equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The outdoor space surrounding the house was just fabulous with ample areas to sit and relax over a nice bottle of wine and a bbq (there are 2 bbq's to choose from!). The private pool was perfect in size and was very welcome during the heat of the day! When we initially booked our stay, we were aware that there would be beautiful countryside surrounding the property but nothing prepared us for the views that greeted us when we actually arrived. We were totally lost for words at the sheer beauty of the landscape which stretched for miles in every direction. It was the most romantic please to sit and watch the sun set over the mountains! Our host Rafa was amazing, ensuring that our stay was absolutely perfect! Everything about the place was truly magical and we cannot wait to go back!

Fabulous!

The house was beautifully clean and fully equipped with everything we needed for a fantastic stay. It was super to be met by Rafa and shown the house and he did more than is usually expected from an owner to ensure that we had a super stay. The house was perfect for two adults and two university aged children and we all said that we would love to stay again. The views from the terraces are unbeatable and luckily for us the weather contributed to a perfect stay.

Picturesque, peaceful and simply perfect holiday!

What a gorgeous week we spent at this stunning countryside villa. It's picturesque, peaceful and simply perfect location was exactly what we needed for a truly relaxing week. The Villa is beautifully interior designed and kitted out with everything you could possibly need e.g. aircon, wifi, dishwasher and very importantly nespresso machine! We loved being met personally by Rafa at the property on arrival, he is such a welcoming host and helped with everything we could need - every detail had been accounted for. He also recommended some lovely places to visit during our stay. We had a couple of day trips down to Marbella and into Ronda, both highly recommended although we mostly just enjoyed relaxing in the private pool overlooking the undisturbed views in perfect weather! Thank you again so much Andrew and Rafa we cannot wait to come again this year! :)

Beautiful Villa

Cortijo de las Nieves is an absolutely stunning villa with beautiful views in every direction. We stayed in late July and although the weather was extremely hot there were plenty of shaded areas to sit and admire the view and a lovely courtyard to relax with a glass of wine and a book! The villa has aircon but we rarely needed it. The wifi was fast and reliable and very much appreciated by our daughters. Raffa was always on hand to offer help and advice and there is plenty of helpful information at the villa regarding days out (if you can drag yourself away) and places to eat. We visited Ronda which was well worth the 1 hour drive and the villa is conveniently located for visiting Marbella. A car is esential but there are places to eat within a short drive away. I would highly recommend this villa

Amazing stay

A wonderful stay at Andy and Rafa's property. The house was exceptional and had all the mod cons you could need - wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, satellite tv, nespresso etc. Unfortunately the weather was atrocious the week we stayed - it rained every day albeit the last (which is unusual for this time of year). Rafa was very kind to offer some recommendations of what to do during the bad weather, which were gratefully received. I would highly recommend the local spa and a trip to Ronda! The villa was equipped with lots of movies and books, which we also used during the wet weather. The views from the property are spectacular. I never tired of looking out over the mountains and the lush green landscape - a real treat. A private oasis of peace and tranquillity. I just wish we had the time to stay longer! The whole experience was faultless from the moment I booked until check out. Andy and Rafa could not have done anymore - they made sure all our needs were met. The wine and provisions left for us upon check in were a gratefully received gesture - especially after the long journey! Thank you Andy and Rafa for a most wonderful stay. We will be back!!

Tranquil country escape with panoramic views

Having discovered this jewel of a holiday villa a couple of years ago I was delighted to be able to book it again to celebrate a special birthday. It was every bit as wonderful the second time around. Impeccably maintained, extremely comfortable and a perfect escape from my busy life. The attention to detail matched the hosts' welcome and professionalism. Thank you SO MUCH for a making it all so easy. I'll be back again next year !

Second perfect holiday at Cortijo de las Nieves

We enjoyed our second stay at Cortijo de las Nieves as much as the first one last year and were warmly welcomed by the hosts Andy & Rafa. The house is well-maintained, perfect equipped and decorated with so much lose. We didn´t miss anything and felt like home from the first moment on. For any questions concerning restaurants, leisure activities, sights an so on you can always ask the host for tips and recommendations. We can recommend the property for a relaxing holiday and taking a break from everyday life. We are looking forward to spending another holiday at Cortijo de las Nieves. Anja, Eike, Onno

This part of Andalucia is truly special. Sierra de las Nieves is one of Spain's newest National Parks, rich in rare flora and fauna - all this is just minutes from the house.
Also, the area is close to Marbella and the coast, so during a holiday here one can enjoy the best of all worlds - nature, tranquality, the coast as well as access to the cultural richness of Ronda, Seville and Granada, which are all easily reached by car.

This Andalusian country cortijo-style home offers spectacular views across rolling countryside to dramatic mountains beyond. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and breath-taking, romantic sunsets.
Watch eagles and kestrels; and swifts and swallows - and if you're lucky you might catch sight of the wild boar that roam the countryside.
Springtime the countryside is carpeted in wild flowers. Summer brings golden browns, and in autumn and winter the land is verdant and green.
There are lots of walks to be enjoyed and locally there are many companies offering 4x4 safaris, adventure activities, horse-riding and more.
