Home away from Home

An immaculate maintained and comfortable apartment that is in a nice and peaceful area. The Town Centre and Railway Station is within walking distance from the apartment and the local shops are just a few minutes walk away. It is lovely to be able to buy fresh bread every morning for breakfast without having to walk miles to get it. We had a lovely time while we in Sete which was made even better by having a comfortable and quiet place to come back to for some relaxation after a busy day taking in the sights. We would highly recommend it and would love to go back again.

My month-long stay in Sète was the highlight of my three-month European trip. The apartment was immaculate, spacious, peaceful and well-equipped. After a couple of days, it felt like home.Sandra was very helpful at check-in. Both Sandra and Hafida were very responsive and helpful throughout the course of my stay.I did not need to rent a car, since the apartment served as an excellent base for my day trips by rail to Carcassonne and Marseille. I rented a bicycle for a week and enjoyed cycling the many outstanding trails throughout the region. The bicycle storage room provided a secure storage space. The apartment is very well-situated with many amenities just a short walk away. It is close to the main canal, shops, restaurants, the train station and local sights. The municipal bus routes provided easy access to stunning views from Mont Saint-Clair and La forêt des Pierres Blanches.Should I visit Sète again, I would not hesitate to return to this beautiful residence. I had a very memorable and enjoyable stay in a perfect location for a vacation in Sète.

Cornioley

A treasure immersed in culture & perfectly located

Beautifully located close to town, off a quiet side street. We spent 10 wonderful nights here in this well furnished & wonderfully maintained flat. It was well equipped with everything we needed & even had a few provisional treats as well. After a long day of traveling via plane, train & bus it was an unexpected surprise to find a few simple extras to allow us to relax comfortably before going to the store for our provisions. A roll of toilet tissue, coffee for a relaxing cup, etc, the simple extras that showed us the owner was putting herself in our shoes! Thank you! It is perfectly located close to everything you would need. The bus, train, shops, town center, delicious restaraunts & the waterfront are all within walking distance. A short bus ride will put you at the Mediterranean beach or the top of Mt. St-Clair if you chose to opt out of a little longer walk, or hop the train for a day trip to Carcassonne to experience the awe of this UNESCO world heritage site! There is SO much to see and do, we just couldn't take it all in & you won't find yourself without options for the day! This was a trip of a lifetime for us coming from America & this property was a perfect fit allowing us to feel like an integral part of the local culture. Will definately recommend this accomodation & would stay here again should we find ourselves back in Sète. 🙂🙂

Perfect location too if you are looking to have a break from driving as the property comes with a private parking spot and a bike storage room. I wish you a safe journey back to Texas and I hope to welcome again in the future. Kind regards. Hafida & Maryvonne.

Highly recommend, our best apartment stay

This apartment has all that you need for a stay in Sete. It is spacious, well-decorated and equipped, has parking and elevator and is in an excellent location at the center of wonderful Sete; off the main streets by one block so perfectly quiet. The bed and linens were new and of great quality. The WiFi is excellent. There is a good fan and shutters for managing the sun. I understand that air conditioning will be installed soon which may be necessary in the depths of summer. The owner was very quick to respond and assisted us with our specific needs. It was super that she speaks English. An extra bonus for us since we had bicycles was the secure bike storage room.

Zentrale Lage - gewöhnungsbedürftiges Umfeld

Gut gelegene, kleine Ferienwohnung in sehr lauter Umgebung.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I truly feel that a three stars is harsh. It's a shame that you did not get our email with the direction even though we sent it a week before your arrival (i hope your email troubles are fixed) I'm sure getting lost and arriving late was not an ideal start, even though you arrived very late, we did meet and greet you as promised. I wish you asked our help to change the language settings to German for the tv channels. The parking is suitable for 4X4 as we use it too when at the 'Hidden Gem'. We do have a free standing air-con that can be moved to the bedroom at night. The view from the bedroom is on Mont St Clair. We apologise for the noise coming from the neighbouring properties, normally it's a quiet area and yet in the heart of Sète, thanks to double/triple glazing windows. We did clarify prior to booking and on the website that we have a Juliet balcony. I will always recommend travellers to add their telephone number to a booking and I'm happy to ring them to clarify things as I did with you before you checked in. Thank you once again for choosing our accommodation to enjoy the town of Sète. Kind regards, Hafida

Perfect Base to Explore Sète and its Surroundings

The apartment was clean, uncluttered and felt airy and spacious. I wanted a base from which to explore the area and I must say that this fitted the bill perfectly. Sète itself has lots to offer, from bustling markets to quiet walks, I really felt as though I got a true taste of South East France. I was impressed by the bus and rail links to and from Sète, and what the owner said in the description was true ... I really didn't need a car. And after a day exploring I found the flat to be a perfect place to relax. Close to the very centre of town yet remarkably quiet. I could rest back in the comfortable chairs and look out of the large window onto the twinkling lights of Mont StClaire. Magical.

The ‘Jewel’ is idyllically located and a throw-away from le Canal Royal, the Harbour, the Wednesday’s Market, The Halls to name but few. If you want to join in the Jousting’s, the fishermen’s festival frenzy, the magic rich cultural events at the art gallery and museums then this is the perfect apartment. If you are looking for an easy access to a 12 Kms of a long strip golden sand stretch as far as the eye can see then this is it.

A home from home comfort and well equipped bolthole than this is it. Parking and lockable bike shed are a rarity in Sete and free.

I’ve recently joined the local ramblers club and the locals are kind, welcoming and helpful. I’m amazed how much there is to do locally and the amazing walks in this area.
