Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem geräumigen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist deutlich größer, als man es anhand der Fotos vermuten würde, mit mehreren Schlafzimmern und großzügigen Wohnbereichen. Küche, Wohnzimmer (mit Sitzecke), Essbereich und Waschküche bieten mehr als genug Platz für eine größere Gruppe, sodass man sich nicht gegenseitig im Weg steht. Die Einrichtung ist rustikal und gepflegt, und das Haus ist mit allem Komfort ausgestattet, den man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Umgebung: Ruhe und Frieden, ein weiter Blick über die Felder und das morgendliche Zwitschern der Vögel. Dies trägt wesentlich zum Gesamterlebnis bei. Der Empfang durch den Eigentümer war besonders herzlich und aufmerksam. Wir wurden persönlich begrüßt, frisches Obst stand bereit, und wir bekamen sogar frische Eier von den Hühnern. Eine kleine Geste, die viel über die Gastfreundschaft aussagt. Der Whirlpool im Garten ist eine schöne Ergänzung, und es ist ausreichend Holz vorhanden. Wir stellten jedoch fest, dass die Holzart weniger geeignet war, da sie schnell verbrannte und es relativ lange dauerte, bis das Wasser die gewünschte Temperatur erreichte. Es gibt außerdem einige Punkte zu beachten. Die Betten sind eher klein, was für größere Gäste weniger komfortabel ist. Zudem ist der AGA-Herd in der Praxis weniger benutzerfreundlich als es sich anhört. Obwohl ein zweiter Gasherd vorhanden ist, erfordert das Kochen mit einem AGA spezielle Kenntnisse und Techniken. Selbst mit professioneller Kocherfahrung erwies sich das Gerät im Alltag als wenig praktisch. Ein traditioneller, geräumiger Gasherd mit Backofen wäre hier funktional besser geeignet. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die Ruhe, viel Platz und einen charmanten Aufenthalt in Verbindung mit herzlicher Gastfreundschaft suchen.
