A fantastic place to stay!

Villa Marie is a beautiful villa nestled in the hills above Maleme. It is in a quiet and secluded area which was great for us as we were attending a family wedding. Twelve of us stayed for two weeks and the different shared spaces in and around the villa allowed for smaller groups to meet or quiet time. The pool and BBQ area were fantastic for socialising both day and night and we made the most of it with family gatherings before and after the wedding. There was plenty of space for visitors to join us.With the secluded area of its location we didn’t have to worry too much about the noise we made. The bedrooms were well proportioned and beds very comfortable. The bedrooms were well located and each of the three bathrooms were conveniently located between two bedrooms, so sharing one bathroom between two bedrooms worked well. The kitchen was well equipped as was the BBQ. We used the pool lots. The views are stunning and we never tired of gazing out across the hills. The owner, Marie, was very helpful and friendly and responded quickly to emails. The villa was immaculately clean and tidy and the grounds well maintained. We would definitely stay again and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family. In fact, some friends are looking to book it already for next year as they have a wedding to attend also. Thank you for making our stay so memorable. We all have much cherished memories of our extended family holiday and wedding.

Schitterende woning

Wij hebben de eerste week van mei in Villa Marie een mooie vakantie gehad. De luxe woning is van alle gemakken voorzien. De enige verbetering die wij kunnen bedenken is dat een extra koelkast bij het zwembad / bar praktisch zou zijn. Het zwembad was heerlijk met een schitterend uitzicht over het dal en de Middellandse Zee. Echt een aanrader en ook de rust die uitgaat van de omgeving.

Our Dream Summer House!

This was our 3rd time in Villa Marie and it was just as good as we've remembered it. We love it there and it is our favourite place to stay in Crete. The villa is very luxurious and equipped with everything you need. It has nice swimming pool and beautiful sea view , bbq area and a large outdoor dining table! Especially early in the morning and with sundown the panorama is breathtaking ! We will definitely stay again next year.

The song of silence

We have passed lovely days, even though most of the day we have visited the spectacular beaches and countryside of Crete, we have done comfortable breakfasts in the full furnished kitchen and when we returned home we have been delighted by powerful and colurful sunsets and by the astonishing view from the pool, and often we have had our dinners in the huge (we were 12 people) table on the pool level. The villa is also very elegant and tasteful furnished. But what we've appreciated most it has been the absolute silence and quiet!

Che villa spettacolo!

Ciao siamo stati in questa straordinaria villa in zona Chania nei promissimi giorni di Marzo ed abbiamo passato una vacanza fantastica nonostante non fosse ancora estate .La villa e' fantastica,veramente luxury e super confortevole grazie alle sue 6 stanze da letto e gli altri varo ampi spazi.Bellissima la zona esterna dove abbiamo fatto dei BBQ memorabili ammirando una vista mare mozzafiato ( solo la pisicina non l'abbiamo usata perche' ancora troppo freddo per l'acqua) ! Le foto non danno assoultamente giustizia a questa villa che dal vivo e' spettacolare! Ci ritorneremo!

Unforgettable holiday and villa

We spent a week at the wonderfull Villa Marie enjoyed the luxury/exclusive enviroment, the infinity private pool and the location which is in the middle of the tipical nature of Crete. The villa has 6 good sized bedrooms, a family room & large open plan lounge dining area. Although there was only 6 of us which made it more expensive it could easily accomodate an extended family of 12 people. The owner is very nice and welocom us in the best way!. He was readily available and was very helpful with comprehensive information on Crete. This is really an unmissable villa if you go to Chania area and also it is in a strategic location to reach the best beaches of the area like Balos,Elafonissi ,etc. We will be back !

5 star Luxury Villa !!

We enjoyed a fantastic week staying in Villa Marie. The villa is located in a very peaceful setting with spectacular views. The villa is great, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool is lovely, perfect for cooling off in! The children particularly enjoyed the pool! Marie, the owner, was extremely helpful and was always willing to answer any question we had. We were all sad to leave villa Marie at the end of our stay!

Magnificant villa!

From the moment we arrived at the top of the drive to Villa Marie to the end, our stay was nothing short of spectacular! Our extended family of 12 was easily accommodated in the 6 bedrooms and 3 baths. The villa is exactly as described, all the appliances are state of the art and the furnishings comfortable. We enjoyed cooking and dining on the patio as well as the glorious sunsets. The location was central to all the sites we wished to visit. My only regret was that we did not stay longer. The owner was always available to answer questions and was very helpful during the booking process.

Couldn't have wanted for more

Ten of us stayed at this great villa and we had a wonderful stay. If your looking for a villa away from the normal hordes of tourists this is the one for you.the owner stella is fantastic,made us feel very welcome and nothing was a problem. she has great knowledge of the local area/beaches which we visited.Local beach is a 5 mins walk away which has some local tavernas and a small shop.There are also local foods shops in the village.The pool area with bbq is just amazing and we really loved every minute of our stay.
