Local isolado em harmonia com o meio envolvente. Piscina maravilhosa, casa bem equipada e anfitrião sempre disponível para qualquer eventualdade.Apenas como aspeto negativo a existência de muitos abelhões o que condicionou as horas de uso da piscina (ao início da manhã e final da tarde).Experiência a repetir.

Fantastic stay in a lovely house with a nice pool and a great view on the surrounding hills. The pictures are realistic, what you see is what you get. Lots of privacy, very quiet and peaceful.The communication with our host Martin was excellent. He responds real quick. 100% satisfied !

Tranquility, private and great views

Negatives:Towels, bedding and outside furniture are dated (one leg fell off the outside table every time it was moved). The shower curtain needs replacing. Pans, crockery and cutlery need a good clean (we cleaned sufficient for our needs and left those items clean). With a few small updates and a bit of cleaning, this would be a great place to stay.Positives:Marten is a nice fellow and quick with his communication replies and lives close by. The location is great if you want peace and quiet, privacy and great views. It's about 1.5km from Garvao which has some facilities and only around 12km from Ourique with its supermarkets and greater choice of restaurants and bars.The ceiling fan was a bonus in the scorching weather we had.The pool is good for a proper swim (it's about 10m long).Good wifi signal and mobile phone reception.Advisory.The villa is accessible via rough, stony and dusty tracks. We found access a little easier from the southern side of Garvao.

A casa é linda, a piscina ótima pena ter imensas vespas com vários ninhos nas telhas, janelas …A casa têm boas áreas, boas condições só na limpeza não me convenceu, teias de aranhas por todo o lado, janelas cheias de moscas e vespas mortas, móvel por baixo do lava loiça nunca viu um pano…Mas muito bom o tempo passado lá, descanso completo

Boa localização, casa muito agradável com um excelente espaço exterior.Pontos negativos, a limpeza principalmente da cozinha e das WC, os colchões das camas são muito desconfortaveis e ar roupas das camas e de banho tinham nódoas e não cheiravam bem.

Stunning scenic villa

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful countryside villa. The house had everything we wanted; a nice pool, multiiple cozy sitting areas and useful cooking supplies and kitchen utensils. The contact with Martin went smoothly as well. Overall perfect accommodation in a beautiful quiet spot!

Superbe séjour dans une superbe villa, elle est même plus grande que sur les photos!! Vous désirez être au calme et profitez d'une superbe vue, c'est ici que le charme opère. Un resto à vous conseiller "le café beira Linha" est excellent, Fernanda vous accueille avec sa cuisine faite avec amour et ses produits frais

Ruhiger und abgeschieder Erholungsurlaub

Wir haben wundervolle 2 Wochen in dem Haus verbracht . Das Haus ist sehr abgelegen. Von dem zweiten Ferienhaus sieht man nur das Dach. Ein herrliche Ruhe, die nur morgens und anbends von den Glocken der Ziegen und Kühe unterbrochen wird. Die Zufahrt ist nur ein Feldweg – daher besser eine entsprechende Mietwagenversicherung abschließen…. Das Haus ist für vier Personen ausgelegt. Die Größe ist optimal. Die Küche ist gut und funktional eingerichtet, wenn auch nicht besonders modern. Das Schlafzimmer mir Doppelbett hat ein sich direkt anschließendes Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Ein weiteres Badzimmer mit Dusche ist neben dem zweiten Schlafzimmer. Es gibt zwar keine Klimaanlage, wenn man jedoch morgens gut durchlüftet, hält sich die Kühle den ganzen Tag. Der Pool ist groß genug, um ein wenig schwimmen zu können (auch im Kreis). So kann man herrlich die Aussicht auf die Gegend von der Terrasse aus genießen und sich kurz im Pool abkühlen, um dann weiter auf den Liegen zu entspannen. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir haben ihn nur kurz kennengelernt, da er selbst im Urlaub war. Dafür war ein Freund von ihm hilfsbereit uns zur Seite gestellt. Das nächstgelegene Dorf bietet nur geringe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten bzw Restaurants für Mittagessen. Die nächsten Supermärkte sind aber nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt und gut zu erreichen. Algrave und Westküste sind rund eine Autostunde entfernt. Die Wohnung eignet sich daher nicht unbedingt als Ausgangspunkt für Strandurlab.

Paisible

Petite maison au calme avec une vue paisible tout autour 😊 et des couchers de soleil différents tout les soirs 😍 et avec la couleur de la terre et la chaleur 36 degrés en moyenne on se croirait dans "out of Africa" Et la piscine qui nous attendait tout les jours que demandé de plus ! Marten nous a très bien accueilli Il y a juste le nécessaire qu'il faut pour passer de magnifiques vacances 😉 Juste petit bémol des rideaux pas suffisamment opactant pour la luminosité dans la chambre surtout avec le levé du soleil Sinon tout était parfait Je recommande pour ceux qui veulent vraiment se reposer dans le calme

Peaceful rural retreat

Delightful place in beautiful countryside with panoramic views. The only sounds around were the sheep bells, swallows, nearby horses and the distant trains to Faro and Lisbon. Very peaceful and private but just a 10 - 15 minute drive to the nearby town Ourique for restaurants and shops. The Alentejo cheese and wines are highly recommended! The pool was fantastic and big enough to swim properly in. Martin the owner was super helpful - met us in Ourique and guided us to the property and showed us around. He was on hand living nearby and always responded quickly to any queries and also checked the pool during our stay. He was so kind when we needed to find a hospital - even driving all the way there with us and translating for us!

Total seclusion!

Lovely villa with amazing views. Larger than expected swimming pool, well appointed villa. Grab your provisions from the supermarket 12km away and use this beautiful villa as a bolt hole for a fabulous rest.

Heerlijke rustige vakantie. Mooi huis op prima locatie. Van alle gemakken voorzien (behalve vaatwasser). Kan hier en daar wel wat onderhoud en modernisering gebruiken. Marten is vriendelijke prima gast. Staat klaar om alle vragen te beantwoorden.

Relaxing and Peaceful Time

Lovely private location with amazing views over Alentejo countryside.Pool to cool down when the heat got too much.Accomodation exactly as described in listing.Marten always contactable when you have a question.We are looking forward to a return visit.
