The location is great and the hot tub was decent. Beds were fine. The layout is weird and it is very outdated, but that’s fine with us. There were some cleanliness issues. We had to wash pots and pans we pulled out to use, there were cobwebs in some areas and the balconies appear to have some mold or something. They could use a serious deep cleaning. There also are some outlets where the drywall has chunks missing, so it seems unsafe. The lock boxes on the doors were very confusing for both of us and when you get to the entrance there are 2 doors and nowhere does it say which door it is, so I went to the one with a “welcome” sign, which turned out to be a private residence. All in all it served its purpose, but I think it’s overpriced for what it is.

Check-in process was easy and much appreciated. Location was great. Quiet, sleepy little coastal town. The rental space was close to being great if not for several small maintenance issues (light bulbs burned out, outlet not covered in kitchen, clock in living was broken or needed new battery, etc.) and a pervasive issue with mildew odor everywhere - in stairwell area, in towels, in bedding, in old tired furniture. It’s not an issue of cleanliness - surfaces were clearly cleaned. But it has the appearance of just not being loved and a lack of pride in its appearance and owners taking care of the details. Kitchen dishes were inadequate.There were a total of 3 mismatched spoons and 3 cereal bowls. All eating utensils were old, mismatched, and inadequate in number. The bedspreads were old, heavy, and clearly not laundered. More clean, extra blankets needed, both for couch bed and other two beds for those of us that couldn’t handle the present bedspreads. Major trip hazard on the edge of the rug between the two bedrooms. Could be a quick fix with duct or carpet tape. All of the old, tired items could easily be replaced and upgraded and help the place’s appeal with one trip to Walmart for the cost of 2 nights’ worth of rental income. The bones of the place are great; what’s missing is pride in the details that make the renter’s experience positive. No disrespect here. Just wanted to give honest feedback. One thing that was VERY positive was the hot tub. We really enjoyed it.

Really Needs Updating!

Great location, loved the hot tub, beds were relatively comfortable, and the layout served our needs. But you’re going tonhave bring enough silverwear, cereal dishes, plates, etc. Lightbulbs missing, musty towels, old furniture. It looks unloved.

Business by the beach

Stayed with a coworker for a quick business trip. Nice place to stay overall. Could not find extra blankets.

Great spot

The location and proximity to the beach are amazing. The hot tub was great on a chilly morning. We enjoyed staying here. Needs some updating though. The bedding and curtains are old and make the place feel musty. I think it’s clean- just outdated.

A great gem

This is one of those gems you almost hate to give such a great review since it will always be booked, but it truly was wonderful. It’s not fancy. It’s cozy, meets your needs, and the hot tub was our favorite. There are sleeping areas that 3 couples could utilize. Two great full bathrooms, one on each floor. There’s a dvd player as well. Yes there are a lot of steps, but it wasn’t that bad. We felt safe, warm and really felt peaceful. The furniture was comfortable and not there usual corral rental furniture. The parking is a concern, and I’m not sure more than one car can be parked there for to the large truck and boat stored there. You will have to back out of the long driveway.

Difficulties but overall worth it!

Nice place, quaint... awesome view! No cell service and NO land line available! Getting into property was extremely difficult, code didn't work and had to drive ten miles to get service/help. Once fixed...rest of stay was wonderful!

Great location, so so apartment

The apartment is in a great, quiet location. Unfortunately it has a bit of an "unloved" feel - cleaning was not really satisfactory and most of the interior looks like it hadn't been updated from the 70s.wifi completely unusable

Solid, affordable option

Our family of 6 stayed for several days. The price was excellent. It was sufficiently spacious and clean. The beach at Oceanside was easy to access and beautiful, although it's an easier drive from the condo than a walk because it is fairly steep getting back. The only negatives were the very steep driveway that took some maneuvering to park our minivan, the multiple flights of stairs to the unit, and the lack of grocery and restaurant options nearby.

Definitely dont rent if you cant do all the stairs. One of the beds was uncomfortable so went to check the fold out and there was blood on that. The hottub had a bunch of sand and dirt in it. They thankfully didn't charge us for it.

Lovely home for a relaxing stay!

This house is wonderful. Both decks provide lovely views and perfect places for morning coffee evening wine. The hot tub was relaxing. Everything was great. I will say there are three flights of steps going up to your accommodation and one flight of steps from the bedroom. (Lower level) up to the kitchen/dining room. If you have mobility issues that makes steps difficult you might want to contact the owner and discuss if this is the right place for you. Otherwise it was wonderful and I’ll definitely be back.

Nice getaway

This was a nice and relaxing place. Had everything we needed for the kitchen plenty of towels were available and the master bed was comfortable. Would stay again.
