We asked for an extra night 4 weeks in advance, no answer. We were on the train an hour out,and he said we could stay the extra night, for cash..We could not figure out how to use the washing machine.no instructions.
1 roll of toilet paper,the toilet was very difficult to flush, my husband
used a pail to fill with water and flush. 2 keys, my husband went to an appointment and we had to wait 2 hours for his return,our key was broken!
The light and fuse in the kitchen did not work,we had to put the coffee pot on the floor in the living room. Light in bedroom closet did not work had to put suit case on floor by the window to see.
1 dirty dish towel. He left a mop in the laundry closet which smelled terrible, I washed it and put it outside.The worst was — the internet did not work! We called for 3 days and he did not answer until late on the 3rd day.We called T mobile and called my son in New Jersey for help.t mobile said ,nothing wrong with our phones. We had to go back to the train station to find schedules for the rest of our trip.
We have stayed at vrbo s for many years and in many countries,this was the worst.We like to have breakfast at our place and then venture out,sometimes bringing home food for supper. He certainly put a dent in our vacation,we wasted so much time with internet and $$$ to call New Jersey.very disappointing experience.
The other reviews might have been from people only staying a few nights.We were there 5 nights.
I would like VRBO to look into this, and reply. We paid up front and did not get what we paid for.
