Located on the ground floor of a typical building located in the central via delle Seggiole, this apartment is very welcoming and well finished. Florence Hideaway is the ideal choice for those who want a home in the historic center of Florence and enjoy all that our city has to offer. Perfect for a couple on vacation but also for a long-term stay, this apartment is appreciated for many reasons: it is very nice, it is well furnished and it is also equipped with many comforts. The house consists of a large living area divided between the kitchen and the living room that overlooks a pleasant outdoor area, a double bedroom and two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a bathtub). In the apartment there is also a mezzanine where there is a single sofa bed and another double sofa bed. In all, up to 5 guests can stay. Florence Hideaway is equipped with air conditioning, washing machine and dishwasher.

Nice and Easy Stay!

florence hideaway was easy to check in and out of. Location was pretty good for getting to museums and tours. Spacious inside living room, small bedroom. Overall would stay again. Would like to have some more blankets on the bed!

Für Familien eher nicht geeignet

Das Appartement liegt sehr zentral im quirligen Viertel Santa Croce. Das ist einerseits großartig, andererseits laut. Durch die Lage im EG und die Lüftungsschlitze hat man nachts das Gefühl, die Feiernden sitzen bei einem im Wohnzimmer. Schlecht, wenn man dort das (unbequeme) Schlafsofa nutzt. Die Ausstattung ist kaum geeignet, selbst zu kochen. Geschirrtücher fehlten und wurden trotz Nachfrage nicht geliefert. Geschirrspüler funktioniert nicht richtig. Alles eher von niedriger Qualität und Stabilität.

Estuvimos 3 noches en el apartamento. La ubicación perfecta, pudimos ir andando a cualquier punto de la ciudad y estábamos al lado del centro. Todo muy limpio y contaba con detalles como champú y gel cosa que siempre se agradece. Muy recomendable

Staying at this property was such a treat! Had everything we needed and had so many beautiful touches. Only stayed for one evening, but host met us and made sure we had all we needed. Was right next to a great restaurant and walkable to all in Florence. Thank you.

Great location

Really convenient location to the museums, Duomo and the river. Soundproof windows allow for a peaceful night sleep. Small kitchen had everything we needed, and two bathrooms in the apartment is a great feature. The bedroom is a loft-type but it works fine for a short stay.

Simply amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay in Florence hideaway, I can’t say enough about how convenient it was to all the places we wanted to see. The place was all we could have needed. The owner was very friendly and responsive to every message and email sent, even checked on us during our stay. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! I can’t wait to return!! Family trip to Italy

We loved the location of the property as it was close to everything we wanted to go to by walking. Communication was good with the property manager. Our only challenge with the space was that the AC did not seem to cool the space which made the evenings a bit warm. Overall, it's a charming spot to stay!

These are several reasons why this apartment gets only one star: first: location: it is far from the train station, it takes a good 20 minutes of walking, not 5-10 minutes as mentioned in the ad. Second: apartment is dirty: we got to the place, the bed was dirty with stain of sweat and a used toothpick on it. We contacted requesting the change, we needed to contact 2 different groups because it was after 5:00pm and it took 6 hours to get the work done. Third: bathroom: showered curtain was too short: water got everywhere after showering. Fourth: two lights above the desk were broken. Fifth: entrance door locks are extremely difficult to open, on inspection, there are 4 locks, each turn of the key opens one lock, it is dangerous to unlock the door to get out in an emergency situation. Please fix.

Convenient but a bit noisy.

We stayed in this apartment in mid-April. It is located a short walking distance to the major Renaissance tourism attractions, and there are many good restaurants nearby. However, it is a ground floor apartment next to a Mexican-themed restaurant and other businesses, and the sounds of people talking, cars and delivery trucks, and other city noises are clearly audible inside with the windows closed. So if you are a light sleeper you might not get a great nights sleep here. The kitchen area has a gas stove, but the overhead vent above the stove is not connected to the vent piping and is inoperable. So you should probably open the windows when you use the stove,

Tucked Away Treasure

We really liked this place. 2 bathrooms ... what was great was being able to get up in the night and use the second bathroom and not wake my spouse up flushing the toilet. This place was super cute. In the heart of the local residents zone. Just so you know you cannot drive or park a car there.... you will have to find a parking garage. We did and that garage was only a 12 min walk for us. This was not stated in the advertisement for this place.

Perfect spot

This was a great place to stay. Walking distance to several major sites and great restaurants. Very clean and not wanting for any amenities. Would definitely recommend it. Our host was helpful with apps for the taxi and local info.

Less then expected

I found the apartment location great. However the floor was filthy, Khadijah to throw out my socks for they were black to the point of never to be ever to get them clean again Shower floor tiles were falling apart Was in need of sauce pans to be able to cook Plenty of fry pans but needs a big pot ti cook anything more then hard boiled eggs in Stove difficult to light Could use a toaster Ac was a joke, than God I wasn’t there in the heat of the summer Ac was not much more then a fan

The apartment was adequate in terms of cleanliness and beds, however, the 2 a/c units weren't working and this was durimg a record tempurature heatwave! We told the guy and because he didn't get back to us, we had to pull the bed out of the bedroom and all huddle in the coolest of the 2 rooms (mind you, that room wasnt much better!). By the 2nd day and after having to send videos and speak to 2 other people, someone came out fix them. This should've been checked before! Next, no calls can be made inside the apartment, so make sure any calls you make are using whatsapp or you have to step outside. Finally, we went to the market to buy some food but we couldnt cook it because, silly us, we forgot to pack our lighter! So, we make another trip out in the heat to go and buy one. On top of that, when I messaged the guys, he said that this is something guests need to take of themselves. I call bs on that. Fine, dont provide coffee, but provide the basics like a lighter! Because, guess what! Now im the peoud owner of a lighter I will.never have use for again (cuz it can't go on the plane home with me!).

Excellent location

The unit is in a great spot. All the main tourist attractions are in walking distance and there are several eateries very near by. The unit itself is a bit different. There is absolutely no empty drawers or anywhere else to store your clothes and personal items. Place looks like it's a catchall for other properties. Plenty of items in the kitchen for cooking, in fact it's inundated with glasses, utensils and other cookware. Too bad I couldn't get the cook top to work. There is no oven as is pointed out in the unit description. The several chairs throughout the unit are everyone hard plastic, wood or metal. Not a comfortable seat in the place in my opinion, but then I don't carry much personal padding. Overall the place is okay for a short visit. Location is great as is the neighborhood, Just don't unpack or sit down.

Great location but disappointing experience

Great location at reasonable rate. We enjoyed our stay with the following two major exceptions: Check in was extremely poor. We had communicated our arrival time multiple times but still had to wait outside the property for almost an hour. Beyond taking our city tax payment there was no tour of the facilities and the person had a very bad attitude with no apologizes for the lateness of their arrival to check us in. This was very disappointing. The laundry machine flooded the floor for a large area. We reached out to the host to get fixed and we were promised a resolution but it never got fixed. It flooded a second time. There was also no drying rack, as promised. We had to chase several times, but never got it resolved. There was never any follow up after repeated attempts by us to reach out. Overall, we loved the location but would not book again at this location with this host. They do not seem to care about their guests. The opposite of a super host.

Florence Loft apartment.

Property was nice. The bathtub was the best. The apartment was large enough for all 4 of us. The beds were super comfortable. The biggest problem was getting to the apartment and then leaving. We needed to get taxis. It was really difficult and there was no one to help us. It took alot of time out of our vacation time in Florence.
