Enjoy all the amenities of St Andrews without the inflated price tag!!! Good for families with kids large groups and furry friends (pets) and business travelers . Outdoor 5 person Hot Tub , Large trampoline and for Golfers a 150 yard grass pitching area. There are 3 public rooms including a cinema room and conservatory. There is also a paddock area which can be used for equestrian guests. Let me save you like it in this area with these facilities..Recent listing, be quick!!!!

Wonderful family vacation in Scotland

My family and I spent 2 overlapping weeks at Southfield Farm. It was wonderful. The property was superb for our purposes. Good location, plenty of room, great livability. Angus was a great and responsive landlord. We strongly recommend the Farm for a medium sized family or group.

Fantastic accommodation in a very quiet setting only 6 miles from St Andrews.

Went on holiday with my Children and Grandchildren (12 of us in total). The owner (Angus) was there to meet us and show us around this vast house with 5 Bedrooms (3 ensuite) and a separate bathroom. It also had another bedroom in the attic. A large living room opened out to the patio which was more than large enough for us all and had a Gas BBQ and a Brilliant Hot Tub. We had an issue with the Hot Tub halfway through the week with the filters which Angus sorted the same day. Also on the grounds, we had a slide, a trampoline and a Pitch and Putt hole. Luckily we knew about this and brought a couple of golf clubs. Angus has Chickens on the grounds and passed the eggs onto us on a daily basis which was a very nice gesture. The children loved the Cinema room and we even had a couple of Movie nights with popcorn to share. This was an excellent location. About 6 miles from St Andrews and the same to Dundee. Even the weather was kind to us. All in all, we had an absolutely fantastic time and would not hesitate to come back to the same location. Thanks Angus.

Amazing house in beautiful surroundings

The property was fantastic, plenty room for our large group of friends, well maintained. Our tour on arrival was very helpful, we were shown how to lock up etc. The decking area is superb - hot tub was ready to go from our arrival which was perfection! And kitchen has everything you could need for cooking etc. Wonderful stay, would recommend and come again!

Brilliant

Family gathering for a 30 th birthday so differing ages. Everyone well catered for. From trampoline, chute to hot tub and pitching range. Dogs had great space to run around. Plenty space inside house to have your own space if wanted. Having barbecue and gas burner when cooler at night enabled everyone to stay out longer. Couldn’t fault any of our stay. Would go back again

A beautiful home from home

Fantastic property with excellent facilities. We celebrated a 60th birthday and it was so relaxing and enjoyable. Spacious house with lovely rooms. Each bedroom had its own character which we loved. The underfloor heating was great as we had two small children with us so cosy toes after spending hours running around the grounds. Spent our evening enjoying the hot tub and grazing in the lovely dining area. A great time was had by all

Lovely house in beautiful setting

Really happy with our stay - House is very modern and equipped with so many mod cons! Great entertaining and socialising spaces. Gus was very helpful and there if needed. Really couldn’t recommend more!

Excellent stay in a lovely property

The house was lovely and very well equipped. The perfect balance of traditional and modern fixtures and decor. 9 of us had such a great weekend. Thanks to Angus who was very welcoming.

Amazing house and gardens.ideal for families and groups with great facilities . Highly recommend.

We really loved our stay. The house was spacious enough for 3 families and you wouldn't want for anything. The owner was very accommodating. The grounds were enourmous and entertained all our kids for hours with trampoline, swing and fabulous hot tub. The house was inviting with spacious living area and gorgeous snug. The cinema room was another welcome addition. We highly recommend a stay here . Fabulous :)

Great house and outside area, perfect for large groups.

We booked this property for a family get together and it provided a fantastic base for us. Ideal location to explore surrounding area and also large, comfortable inside and outdoor space for the 10 of us to be together. Disappointed that the house wasn't really 'prepared' for our visit, it felt as if we had arrived unexpectedly - unwashed washing in washing machine, more laundry in tumble drier, no empty cupboard in kitchen for our own food and similar in bedrooms with no allocated unused space in wardrobes, BBQ broken despite being listed on website as being available. Pretty minor issues but meant that the weekend didn't start on as positive a note as it could have which was a pity as other than that the house and garden area are fantastic. Would also add that the 'double' circular bed is not really suitable for 2 adults to share, unless they are both pretty small! Hope that the comments are taken onboard as none of them would take much to put right and would definitely help with those all important first impressions. Angus was great over the weekend and got the BBQ up and working for us by the Sunday. We had a fantastic time (helped by lovely weather meaning time in the hot tub was very enjoyable!) and loved the quirkiness of the house with the mix of old and new. Would recommend the property and hope that the preparation for guests can be improved so that the full stay can be enjoyed from minute of arrival until departure.

Amazing Property, great location, fantastic price

12 of us stayed here over the Easter period. Huge garden great for the kids. The house was great for the kids and spacious. Favourites were the cinema room and the hot tub. Photos do not do this place justice. Angus was great. Would stay again.
