The cottage is indeed in a great location being within the Snowdonia National Park but also close to the beautiful town of Conwy and the fabulous coastline. As you say, the best of both worlds. Hi Mark, we were so sorry about the negative experience you had at the cottage. We have never come across this situation in all of the 17 years we have owned Wern. We can only put this event down to the unusually hot weather we experienced that day and into the evening. We had been at the cottage ourselves that afternoon to check that all was well and saw no sign of these little creatures anywhere in the house at that time. Of course on being notified of the problem our immediate thoughts were for yourself and your family and we completely understood that you could not stay in the property that night. The comfort of our guests is always a priority for us. We just want to say that we immediately took steps to eradicate the problem and it has now been fully resolved. So sorry again for the disappointment and inconvenience caused but thank you for telling us about it so promptly and for your feedback. We have instructed our cleaners to pay closer attention to the cleaning regime. Best wishes Jane & Laurence

Hi Susan, thank you so much for your review and so sorry we are late in our response. We really do hope you will come and stay again at Wern. In terms of local eateries we can recommend the little Italian restaurant Ti Amo in Penmaenmawr. We had such a lovely welcome and great food there recently.
