Amazing Stay

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay and did not want to leave!!! We were staying for a Regional THSBA fishing tournament and this house was perfect!!! Great bass just outside the back door.

Weekend getaway

My husband and I stayed at Birdsong cabin for 3 nights. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We enjoyed watching some drama unfold between the geese on the island across the water as well as seeing cardinals and woodpeckers. Weather did not allow us to use the waterfront as much as we would have liked, but we are hoping to return and try again.

Wonderful family vacation!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, it is a wonderful and peaceful spot! The whole family enjoyed their time here and everything was provided, along with ample parking for our boat trailer and vehicles. The backyard space is amazing!

Nice weekend away !

Great location and the house was perfect for our needs. The one drawback was the outside furniture , it could use some updating. Overall though, it was a very peaceful and relaxing weekend.

Perfect family get away

The house is called birdsong Cabin. Love the name, but it certainly is not a cabin. It is a lovely home and fully equipped with anything you need. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the neighborhood is quiet, and many recreational areas are close by. The owners were available and very helpful. Highly recommend this place for a family getaway or a gathering of friends.

Great Place

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. Communication was outstanding. The property was nicely appointed, very clean, and very welcoming. The location was relatively peaceful, convenient to local stores, and 5 mins from the golf course. My wife, Mom, and kids loved the stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Place!

The place was just perfect - very nice and clean inside and two really great outdoor areas. Off season, so nice and quiet outside, great views, very relaxing! Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans and utensils. Again, the place was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely go again and highly recommend!

Amazing Thankgiving

Our Thanksgiving stay was perfect. It was peaceful and quiet . We fished, watched movies and enjoyed every minute. The property was beautiful and the house was amazing. We loved every minute. Thank you for everything.

Perfect getaway

This was a quick family getaway for my husband’s birthday. It was exactly what we all needed! We enjoyed mornings and evenings on the back porch listening to the sounds of nature. The cabin had everything we needed! Overall this was a great experience for my family!

Perfect getaway

The property itself is beautiful home is beautiful full of all kinds of toys games for family entertainment. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensil glass. Cooking supply, needed. A perfect home away from home. We hope Amy would welcome us back for another stay.

Great Getaway

Property was well maintained had several outdoor games to entertain a group. Indoors the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. There were also plenty of board games available if thats your thing. This area of the lake is quiet, we spent some time on floaties but we did see paddleboards, kayaks, and other watercrafts pass by. It was a very relaxing stay

Wonderful lakefront retreat!

Our family stayed at Birdsong for the 4th of July and it was wonderful! The house was very clean and well stocked. This house is in a wonderful lakefront location in a quiet cove area which was great for fishing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and swimming. It was only an 8 minute drive to HEB for groceries. We absolutely loved this cabin! Lots of wonderful memories made!

Awesome Property!

Birdsong Cabin is such an awesome property! We stayed for 3 nights in August and despite the temps being well into the 100s, we were able to fish pretty much all day because there is so much shade! We caught a ton of Sunfish and even some Rio Grande Cichlids! It was nice just floating around the island so be sure to bring floats or kayaks. The house is incredibly clean and the beds were super comfortable. Amy was wonderful to work with. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable

There were six of us senior lady friends and the accommodations were very comfortable. Two ladies fished most of the time and caught perch and 3 nice catfish(catch and release). Sitting on the porch in morning was sooo peaceful, the games could be updated pieces missing but we still played and laughed a lot! The two bathrooms are not in the bedrooms as the sight indicated. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully furnished. Lovely place to stay. Thank you Amy for sharing your home!

Gorgeous Lakehouse!

We had an incredible stay at Birdsong Cabin!! The host, Amy, was such a pleasure to speak to! She was quick to respond, very informative, and extremely nice. The property was beautiful and had an amazing backyard view! The house had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. It made the trip so relaxing and our dogs loved the outdoor areas. We enjoyed all of the activities provided - lots of games both for indoors and outside. We would highly recommend staying at Birdsong Cabin! One of our best VRBO experiences!

I thought there was no place like home

What a wonderful, peaceful, beautiful experience that is Bird Song Cabin. We just fell in love with the location, the view, the house...everything. We were so disappointed to have to leave. The house was very well stocked with essentials and super clean. Make sure and bring food containers and foil as these are typically not staples at a VRBO. We are already trying to figure out when we can go back. Thank you Amy for creating this amazing retreat.

Our Family purchased Birdsong Cabin in 2014. We have spent many family vacations on Lake LBJ and have made lots of memories near the water. We currently live in Georgetown, TX and travel to Lake LBJ whenever we get the chance. Of course, every trip we make includes our dogs! We hope to share our slice of heaven with you.

This property is one of a kind b/c of the panoramic view of the cove around the island. It has 60'' of private waterfront with a cement retaining wall or bulkhead. The water is a calm and relaxing cove, so bring your floats, kayaks, fishing poles and come chill! It's just a short 3 minute drive by boat to get to open water on the Colorado Arm of Lake LBJ. We had an Arborist tell us that the large Heritage oak tree in the backyard is 700-800 years old. It is huge!

Birdsong Cabin offers a fully fenced, large 1/3 acre lot for your kids and fur-babies to roam in. The private neighborhood boat ramp is about a 2 minute drive away, where you can launch your boat. Enjoy the serene setting of the cove while fishing or floating on your raft, or head out towards open water, which is less than a 3 minute ride by boat.
