Overall great place to stay

Wonderfull view and comfy place to stay. Loved the pool. Only thing that could be better is the information book/leaflet about general rules, carbage / recycling etc. but otherwise everything was fine and the owner was really helpfull. We recommend the place for everyone who wants own peace and dont need the city or shops nearby.

Le logement est incroyable tout comme la vue. Le propriétaire est très gentil et disponible. Attention seulement à ne pas brancher trop d’appareils en même temps que le four soit allumé car cela fait sauter les plombs. Je recommande vivement ce logement !

Unser Aufenthalt war im Juli 25. Das Haus ist schön mit einer hervorragenden Aussicht auf das Mittelmeer. Der Kontakt zum Besitzer verlief reibungslos. Das Inventar könnte allerdings eine Auffrischung gebrauchen. Alles schon ein wenig verbraucht. Auch die Badezimmer hätten dies mal nötig. Ansonsten haben wir den Aufenthalt genossen.

Super Inserat

Wir waren eine Gruppe von 11 Erwachsenen, einem Baby und einem Hund. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war einwandfrei, sei es vor der Anreise oder direkt vor Ort! Er war super freundlich und stand uns bei jeder Frage bereit. Das Haus sieht aus, wie es die Bilder versprechen. Man hat super Platz zu zwölft und hat aufgrund der Terrasse mit Pool und dem großen Balkon mit Whirlpool auch einmal Zeit sich etwas Auszeit zu nehmen. Die Aussicht ist einzigartig aufgrund der Lage des Hauses. Als vor Ort uns das Wasser des Whirlpools etwas trüb wurde, wurde sofort jemand vorbei geschickt um das Problem zu lösen. Ein Auto ist von dem Standpunkt nötig um einkaufen gehen zu können oder auch stressfrei zum nächsten Strand zu gehen. Das war allerdings kein Problem für uns. Aufgrund der Höhenlage war die top Aussicht dafür gegeben. Für unseren kleinen Hund war es auch super. Wir würden das Haus immer wieder erneut buchen!

Une vue fantastique et une maison agréable à vivre pour 11personnes

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cette villa à la vue fantastique. La maison est composée de 6 chambres et de 3 salles de bain, ainsi que d’une belle terrasse avec une magnifique vue sur la mer. Possibilité d’aller à pied à la plage à 1 km. La piscine est très agréable. Convient à des personnes valides. La terrasse est exposée sud mais il y a toujours du vent en journée. La plage est très belle. Possibilité aussi de se garer à la plage (parking payant).

Maison bien située et agréable

Passer la prise en compte des clefs (mauvais code de la boîte à clef), le jacuzzi qui n'a pas été nettoyer et pas en marche donc froid, les draps absents sur la moitié des lits et les serviettes de toilettes absentes le séjour c'est remarquablement deroulé agréablement bien.

Très bon emplacement

Le séjour s’est très bien déroulé grâce à une emplacement et une vue fabuleuse. La propreté du réfrigérateur, la poussière sous les meubles de SDB sont à revoir. L’équipement en général est à revoir manque une cafetière Nespresso, une théière et très peu d’ustensiles le cuisine. Si on branche 2 appareils comme le grille pain et la bouilloire le tableau électrique disjoncte et quid pour trouver le tableau. Car en effet, aucun état des lieux n’est fait ni à l’arrivée ni au départ. En revanche, sur la terrasse l’équipement en bain de soleil est parfait et la piscine est géniale… avec toujours une magnifique vue. Attention pour les personnes à mobilité réduite la maison est remplie d’escaliers. Attention aussi aux divers suppléments annoncés à la dernière minute genre le linge de maison noté « inclus » sur Abritel et réclamé à l’arrivée. Impossible de joindre le concierge et il ne parle pas Français. Manque point GPS pour se situer par rapport à la place.

Incredible View & Home

Our family of 11 stayed a week at this beautiful home. When you walk into the home, you are mesmerized by the amazing view from the windows and patio. It truly was the perfect location for our family. We were close to beaches, Lloret de Mar, Tossa de Mar and Barcelona. Lots to see and do in the area. The drive up is quite steep, so if you aren't comfortable with a manual transmission on a hill, be sure to get an automatic vehicle. The house is relatively well taken care of it, but there are a few things that need attention. Beds are comfortable and duvets sufficient; however, most pillows are horrible and need to be replaced. Also, there are no written instructions at the house for operating items (ie. washer & dryer or dishwasher) or other useful info (ie. tv, internet and garbage disposal). There are only two air conditioners, one in the bedroom upstairs and the other in the hallway in the basement. It got a bit warm for people who shut their doors downstairs. The screens on both air conditioning controllers aren't working, so it's hard to set the air conditioner properly. For North Americans - If you use the washer and dryer, be sure to empty the water container (top left hand corner of dryer) as it fills up quickly...different than our typical dryer. Our biggest frustration was the garbage. Originally, we were told to leave it "anywhere". We understood that to mean on the property because we couldn't find any bins for garbage or recycling anywhere. Near the end of the week, as the garbage piled up, we contacted the property manager. We were told to drive down to the town and put it anywhere. As you can appreciate, the smell after a few days in the sun made it inappropriate to put in a car. We asked about a garbage pickup, but was told there wasn't any; however, neighbours did put their garbage to the curb for pickup. We managed to take some bags down the hill and found a bin, but we think it was private property so we felt like criminals disposing of garbage. Also, if you are considering renting this property, you should be aware there is a surcharge for bed linen and towels (17 euros p.p.). We weren't made aware of this charge until we booked the property and received a "Sample" contract with the prices. By the time we saw this, it was too late to book an alternate property. As well, the owner only supplies one roll of toilet paper/bathroom and one garbage bag, so be prepared to shop.

Superbe Villa!

Maison parfaitement équipée pour 12 personnes. Nous étions 3 familles. 6 adultes et 6 adolescents. Maison très propre à notre arrivée. Quartier résidentiel tranquille. Nous n'avons pas eu très beau temps pendant notre séjour. Heureusement que nous avions pris l'option piscine et jacuzzi chauffés ! Superbe vue de la terrasse qui est malgré tout souvent ventée.

Beyond expectations

You will drive through a quiet, peaceful, family friendly neighborhood to a quiet unsuspecting home with a front courtyard. Through a large secure door, you will be greeted with a spectacular sea view. A wall of windows stretching across the entire sea view side of the house. Seriously the pictures do not do this house justice. On this level there is a bedroom with 2 twins connected, sea view window, chair, 2 nightstands, and a wardrobe. Between the living room and bedroom is a bathroom connected to the hallway . The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. The living room is cozy, with every inch covered in seating. Perfect. The living room, dinning and kitchen are all one space. The dinning room has 2 tables connected with abundant seating. The kitchen has all the basic cooking utensils. Plenty of dishes and cups for a crowd to eat all meals there. The dishwasher was well used by us. I would caution family with young kids to bring plastic cups. The flooring is all tile, perfect for pool time, not glassware used by toddlers and kids. There is a great charcoal grill connected to a huge outdoor patio with tons of table seating and a large hot tub. Next level down there are two bathrooms. One on the right, on in the left, with 5 bedrooms between. All have 2 twins , great for connecting or separating. One room has its own private sea view patio, while another has a private patio with table and chairs and stairs that take you to the pool. The other 3 bedrooms have sea view windows. One bathroom has a shower one has a tub/shower combination. There are two ways to the pool, on a third level. One by way of a lower bedroom, one by way of the private courtyard at the front of the house. The laundry is on the level of the 5 bedrooms. It's a separate washer and dryer units. Take note of empty the water collector and vents. They were very full after each use. We had the pool heater. Wonderful decision! Internet is terrible, for everyone on the mountain. Buy a sim card before you leave and use cell phone internet and you will be fine. We couldn't get tv to work, never asked for help either. It does have apple TV. Alexander, the guy who does all communication on here, also does on the meeting and fixing. He will blow you away with his quickness and true compassion to help you have the best vacation. Security cameras onsite. When you arrive you can manually slide a cover over the lens for privacy. Absolutely no big deal.

Very disappointing, too expensive for what you get - Be Aware

While view is stunning, we were left with the impression that the owner is providing bare minimum on services, supplies, upkeep and accommodation. Not what we expected based on what was advertised and for the price. We have stayed in many HomeAway properties, including a few in Spain, so we do have excellent comparisons. We were basically told by the property manager that they have all five star reviews so it's just us with the problems, but here are the facts, also shared with the manager. Positives: A truly excellent view of the sea, house was clean, pool was clean. Manager responded after issues were raised to him. Negatives: (1) Cameras located throughout the interior of the house. We felt like we were being watched. I have not encountered cameras *in the house* in other properties. We were told security system was deactivated, but still creepy. (2) House is advertised as having air conditioning. It has some air conditioning, true, but the house is not fully air conditioned. There is air conditioning in one bedroom which worked. There is another unit located in a hallway in lower level intended to cool the remaining bedrooms, but the downstairs bedroom did not cool off even with curtains closed during the day. Noise impacted sleep. (3) Internet is there, true, but it works very poorly. So slow we couldn't do work. Tested speed, found it to be less than 6 mbps. Manager told us you can't get good speeds in Spain in hotels (what?) but this has not been the case in other houses for us. (4) Amenities are as cheap as they come. Only very thin bath towels. No extra towels or bedding provided unless requested. Manager did bring beach towels to use outside after we enquired. (5) White plastic lounge chairs were filthy. After we brought this to manager's attention, a cleaner came over on Sunday (next day to be fair) to wash them. Asked that we move out of the chairs we were laying on saying manager insisted he clean those too. Should have been done before arrival. (6) Lock on a lower level door was broken when we arrived. Not safe. Contacted manager, who came over to repair same day. Should have been done before arrival. Why have elaborate security system with a broken lock? (7) Instructions for checkin provided by email, no personal orientation or binder provided with instructions for house. (8) Densely populated area Very disappointed and not good holiday experience.
