Seven tumbling cousins and their parents love Vaujany year round, so decided to invest in a property of their own to share with friends, family and like-minded Alpine lovers.

In January 2010, half our team scoured the French Alps for a base to fulfil their long-held dream of living in the mountains. It took only three hours to realise that Vaujany was the place to be. Four years and a couple of ski holidays later, when the nippers were of a suitable age, the children found themselves enrolled in school in Allemont at the foot of the mountain, and they said goodbye to Cornwall for 18 months of fresh Alpine living.

The second family were soon Vaujany converts, keen to improve their off-piste skills and try new terrain whilst introducing their children to skiing, many other resorts paled in comparison, Vaujany is unique, it simply meets all our needs.

What none of us expected was to relish the summer, spring and autumn just as much as the winter. Breath-taking scenery, good food and all the uncomplicated happiness that comes with being in an Alpine village - a year-round idyll. Come as often as you can!

Perfectly located minutes from the main ski station, in the beautiful, secret alpine village of Vaujany, our chalets have been designed to enjoy mountain living to the full. Stylish and comfortable, with stunning south-facing views down the valley, these chalets sleep between 6 and 18.

Our versatile accommodation means we can cater for a couple looking for a romantic getaway, families or groups of friends. Taking our properties either separately, or by combining them via the internal doors, means we can sleep 6, 8, 11, 13 or up to 18 people.

Vaujany is a rather secret and unique alpine village with state of the art facilities - fantastic for children. Located at the centre of the Oisans, Vaujany has its own beautifully-maintained pistes and is linked to the huge ski area of Alpe d'Huez Grand Domaine. The village retains its charming authentic roots with chickens roaming safely in quiet corners while boasting an Olympic pool and ice rink.

A fast 160 person cable car, only a few minutes walk from our chalets, whisks you into the heart of a ski area with more than 250kms of prepared pistes, including the fantastic Sarenne - the longest black run in Europe. Vaujany is rare in that it is ideal for mixed abilities with advanced and varied off piste skiing easily accessible. The award winning ski club/nursery and a very attentive caring ski school mean our children, and their parents, get the most out of their holidays.

Many enjoy summer in Vaujany as much as winter with fantastic access to mountain biking, climbing, treetop surfing, kayaking and other outdoor activities in the fresh, alpine air with meadow flowers at your feet.
