Comfortable oasis close to downtown Lexington

We were in town for Alumni Weekend at Washington & Lee and were very pleased to find this loft. We felt like we were just close enough to town for it to not feel far, but just far enough away to have some peace and quiet. We really enjoyed meeting the horses and would return here next time we are in Lexington. Thanks for a great stay!

I’m in love

This was a beautiful, interesting place to stay. Quiet and gorgeous. Fun furniture and very cozy. I loved waking up to see the horses. It was super easy to get to VMI, maybe 10 minutes max.

The well appointed loft is adorable. Host is very kind and helpful. Location is convenient to downtown and the Virginia Horse Center.

Idyllic atmosphere.

What a lovely space. The king sized bed is extremely comfortable. Have enjoyed multiple stays here while transporting our horses. Only complaint is we couldn't have stayed longer.

Perfect overnight getaway

This loft is amazing! I love the decor, and the bed sleeps great. Lots of little extras to make you feel at home. I was in town for a show at the Virginia Horse Center and didn't want to stay in one of the busy hotels. This space is about ten minutes away and I had a wonderful night's rest. Plus it is on a lovely horse farm. I def hope to stay here again!

Beautiful little hidden gem

This was our second visit to this property on our travels south and it’s absolutely beautiful. It has everything you need for a short stay. I would highly recommend!

Such an amazing place to stay. So peaceful and who can beat staying on a horse farm with chickens and ducks roaming around. Great hosts! We will be back!

Just What We Needed

Cute little apartment like place above a garage on a horse farm. It was exactly as described, nice and quiet, clean and had just what we needed, mostly a place to sleep (comfy bed to note). It did have some other thoughtful touches, snacks, coffee and fresh creamer, filtered water, small fridge. Host was very responsive and friendly. Definitely will stay there again!

Comfortable and peaceful

The place was very cozy. Waking up to see mountains and at night saw many fireflys. It was a short distance from Natural Bridge. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area again.

Highly Recommend!

Perfect place for my horses and myself to layover going home from a show. Alice keeps the place very nice. Clean and comfortable. Easy access with horse trailer. I would definitely stay here again!

Picturesque Vacation Rental

I was traveling to TN with my two pets, and this vacation rental was the perfect escape from interstate driving. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and provided a "vacation feel" that was so welcoming after a full day of driving. I will definitely be back! Thank you, Alice!

Scenic Rural Loft

Alice Bruno, the host, has created a great spot for an overnight stay or a hub for exploring the Lexington area. Rural, yet easy to find, the loft is clean, warm, well laid out, and spacious. There is a small flight of stairs to climb, but well lighted and with a useful handrail. Definitely would book again.

Loft on a horse farm

Was exactly as listed. Small and cozy loft where you'll see horses, ducks, chicken and even a friendly dog as you come up the driveway. Very peaceful and safe and Alice and family made us feel very welcome.

Pretty good, overall

Very nice safe place for my friend and I to stay on a weekend trip. The place was really cute and very clean. Just a couple discrepancies: the listing said there were snacks, there was one small pack of crackers, the coffee maker didn't seem to work, and the towels didn't smell very good. Great atmosphere and I can't stress enough how clean and safe it felt. I would totally stay here again!

As Good as the Week Before

I stopped here on my return trip from GA. We had a small mix-up with dates, but Alice jumped right on it and got the place ready. She does a great job with a relaxed demeanor. Even though the temps dropped below freezing, the loft was cozy and warm.
