Misled

This place has NO internet but advertised wifi in the description. We planned to stay 3 weeks and immediately reached out to the Vacasa Team and they did acknowledge the issue and moved us within the complex to another condo the next day. Aside from the no wifi, the biggest issue we found was the bedroom curtains are too small and the bedroom sits at the front of the condo and the outside entrance lights shine in. The one night we had to stay while they found us another place it was sleeping in the daylight regardless of the time. The sliding patio door has a piece of wood used as a stop in it. Neighbour said they made it for someone staying there before because patio door doesn’t lock proper. We found this out after staying the one night. Dryer didn’t work that well. We cleaned the lint trap (I guess someone finally had to) and it seemed a little better but it doesn’t dry well. We were in this complex (different unit) 3 weeks and the entrance gate didn’t work almost half the time we were there. Other than that, the location overlooks the lagoon and condo itself was clean, but we would NOT recommend this condo.

The bed was comfortable. But no table and chairs, no bar stools, no working fan in the 2nd bathroom, no cable tv, could not even get local channels. Drove 1200 miles and wanted to watch super bowl. Had to go out to watch the game. The patio funiture was all rusted and dirty. Patio window was filty. Took several calls for help, Then on the 3rd day we had to pack up and move to a new location about 4 miles down the road.

Decent accommodation

There wasn’t anything I really loved about the accommodations. It was shelter and cooler than the outside. Guess that is something in this heat. I’ll voice more about what I didn’t like in the private section.

Unfortunate

We book with vacasa frequently and this unit I was very very disappointed with. Springs in pull out couch sticking out, mold growing in the utility closet, no cable TV or any option of TV in family living room. Blind missing in bedroom, you could see the bed from the outside window. For as much as this unit goes for a night I was very very disappointed. With all that being said, vacasa came in and made everything right. I was very very pleased with vacasa they moved us units immediately, did a walk thru with my husband and made sure we were comfortable. Thank you vacasa for getting us situated and fixed for our week stay we appreciate all the effort your team did to make the situation right. We will continue to stay with vacasa, and hope that the owners update the 201 unit for a better stay in the future.

A nice place for a stay.

We enjoyed our week long stay - the bed was comfy, the temperature controllable, and it was very nice to have a full kitchen with a washer and dryer as well. The location is at what I would describe as the west end of east Panama City Beach, right at the tip of the Lower Grand Lagoon (sitting and watching which is very restful). It's out of the party crowd traffic stream, which is a big plus - but near enough to easily join it, if that's your plan. The pool was a nice place to hang out for an afternoon when we didn't want to go anywhere. Having code-locks was very nice, since we didn't have to worry about keys. A couple of issues with the location, that might not be issues for you - the windows are thin, and it is rather easy to hear people talking outside. Also, Panama City is home to Tyndall AFB, and both Eglin AFB and Pensacola Naval Air Station are within a couple hours north. Let's just say that it can be a pretty impressive air show as the pilots fly their fighter jets at fairly low altitude and high speed above or just off the beach, or, in one case I saw, right down Thomas Ave at 1000 feet. Fortunately they only do this during daylight hours. If we ever plan on going back to PCB, we'll be looking into this location again.

Great location, but pics & info slightly deceiving

I will start by saying this is in a great location, has a great view of the water area in the back and the location made it very easy to get around PCB, but the pics were very deceiving. It shows a TV in the living room and one in the bedroom, but there was no TV service whatsoever, not even local channels. When I asked about it, they said they were for people who wanted to bring gaming stuff. I have never booked anything on Hotels.com where there wasn't TV service in the room & it didn't need to be advertised that there was or wasn't. It is naturally assumed that the TV is working when you see pics of it. Also, there was no hairdryer in the unit. Again, I have never booked anything on Hotels.com where they didn't provide a hairdryer in the unit. Needless to say, on the first morning my husband had to go to the Walmart, which luckily was close by, to buy one. If you're going to put units on Hotels.com, then they need to have the amenities people assume will be there or advertise that they are not available. And, the pics must have been taken when it was first bought and furnished. There is no big, beautiful rug in the living room anymore so just the tile floor and the small rug by the back patio doors. There are water stains & pieces flaking off the ceiling in various areas. It appears there was a very large 4'+ crack in the wall by the kitchen bar area that was repaired, but never repainted so it looks terrible. The refrigerator has a large patch of rusting or something going on where it meets up with the kitchen counter that also looks horrible. Also, we were emailed & texted before arriving that a parking pass would be in the unit when we arrived and to place it immediately on our mirror or be subject to being towed. There was no parking pass when we arrived and when called they said don't worry about it, they'd bring it by the next day. We did get a notice on our car the next morning that we needed this pass or be subject to towing. We were happy that our rental did not get towed, but it was still frustrating. The management company did give us a small refund due to the inconvenience of the lack of TV service. Had they not, the rating would have been a one star.

Good for the price

The condo was fine but had some maintenance issues. Cracked wall had been patched but not repainted. Back patio was extremely dirty but there wasn’t a water hose to spray it off. Finger prints on the sliding door. It had a torn place on the hallway wall that needed repaired. Had water leaking from the ceiling one night, got it turned off but I don’t know if the problem was fixed. We couldn’t get into the pool area after 7:00 at night because the gate wouldn’t open. Location was great and a great rate but has some issues.

I extremely enjoyed my stay there. Working at night and being able to come home relax and sleep was amazing. I would stay here again even if it was for a vacation. Any issue I had was taken care. Definitely an amazing experience.

Nice little condo

Nice place to stay. Location was a plus away from Pier Park all busy stuff. But just a short drive if that's what your after. A nice walk from the condo to the beach front. Liked idea didn't have to take the car, could leave it at the condo. We enjoyed our short stay condo was clean, it did still have a light bulb over kitchen table needs replaced and a blind in bed room that's fixed. Overall for price point and what we was looking for this was a great option. We will keep it in our favorite for future stays as we go to PCB couple times a year. So far off season late September early October has been best times.

The place for boaters.

If you have a boat and want to go to Panama City, this is the place to go. It is across the road from a beach and it has a dock with reasonably fast access to St. Andrews Inlet. Management is extremely boater friendly too and that is what I liked most. A lot of condo managers make you feel very unwelcome if you bring a boat, but not these guys. There is a community of boaters that spend a lot of time around the dock and are a good source of information about the area.
