Awesome vacation house-we had a blast!

The house is in a perfect location-quiet dead end street and within walking distance of everything we needed/wanted/beach etc. The only reason for the 4 star cleanliness rating was that the house was having some renovations, but we were compensated before we even arrived, they came at convenient hours, and were very accommodating . The house had every amenity we could possibly need (the outdoor shower is amazing!) and even had tables inside and outside that fit all 11 of us. We had multiple age ranges and we all really felt very comfortable , plus the house is large enough to have some playing, others napping, and lots of room to relax. We even opted to have downtime at the house, on more than one occasion. Pam is wonderful to deal with and was available by phone at any moment, although we didn’t have cause to call. We would definitely stay here again!

Spacious house with good location

Top selling points: plenty of sleeping space, place for us all to eat at the same table, brand new washer and dryer, great outdoor shower, location, bikes, boogie boards and an awesome Amish scooter for renters' use. Cons: floors were filthy and upstairs carpets were stained, only one pot lid in the entire house, only one air conditioner (on an incredibly humid week). Pamela is a gracious and responsive property owner. I hope she can find a better weekly cleaning service and invest in a deep cleaning of the property once a season.

Spacious, convenient family home

Our family vacation in OOB was a fantastic one largely due to this great house. The rooms are spacious so there was plenty of room to spread out both inside as well as out. Loved the large tables where the entire family could eat together. The garage is full of toys for the kids which they enjoyed using on the long driveway and yard space. The convenience to downtown made it an easy walk to the beach and amusements. I would recommend this home especially if you are going on vacation with a large group. It was a great find!

First timer at OOB

Because we had never spent a family vacation at Old Orchard Beach as well as rent a house from someone we didn't know, I was a tad bit uneasy. The process couldn't have been easier and the house was just perfect! Spacious, clean, comfortable and close to everything. Pam was easy to reach and was nice as can be, making me/my family feel welcome in her home! I hope to start a new tradition for my family here at OOB.

HOUSE HAS EVERYTHING ONE WOULD NEED OR DESIRE AND BEYOND. TWO THINGS WERE VERY UNSATISFACTORY: FLOORS , DOWNSTAIRS WERE FILTHY, CARPET WAS TERRIBLY DIRTY. THOSE THAT WALKED ON THE FLOORS WITH BARE FEET HAD BLACK FEET AS RESULTS. TWO OF THE LIVING ROOM COUCHES ARE WORE OUT AND VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. THE FIRST THING WE DID AT MOVE IN WAS TO WASH THE KITCHEN FLOOR.

Summer Vacation

Thank You for sharing your house with us. We were a large family and had plenty of room. It was extremely hot so the house was rather warm for sleeping. We didn't realize there was only 1 air conditioner, our mistake. The walk to the beach was great and short. We never moved the cars.

Perfect vacation home!

This house is a perfect rental for large groups. My family and I rented this house for the week and could not be happier with it. Plenty of room for all of us and the location was fantastic! We really enjoyed the large dining tables both inside and outside... everything we needed was there, just bring your food, clothes, and linens! We can't wait to go back!

We were 12 people and very comfortable, roomy house. Great location in quiet neighborhood, but close walk to the beach. House has everything. Very well maintained. Super comfortable beds. It is fully stocked. Amazing place!! Can’t wait to come back.

Phenomenal Vacation in Maine!

Had a great week in a beautiful house. Loved the location. Walking distance to everything and/or 5 min drive. Owners thought of everything. Love the back deck and dining room table. Great for our crowd (11 people). Nice that they have 1st floor bedroom/full bath for the grandparents. Great place!! This is a gem.

GREAT House - Has everything!!!

LOVED the house. It was huge and very spacious. Excellent location. Quick walk to the beach/amusements/Pier and no more than a 5 min drive to all the attractions. Beds very comfortable. Has everything you’ll need. Kitchen well stocked. Love the dining room and back deck table. Tons of bikes, scooters, boogie boards. All you really need are your clothes and linens. This house had everything. We’ll definitely be back.

Great house, perfect location!

This is our second time staying at this property and we love it. The location to the beach (1/4 mile) is perfect, easy enough to park your car and not need it again for the rest of the trip. The dead end street is great for riding bikes and playing. The long drive is also great for playing. The garage is filled with toys, bikes and beach stuff. Inside is just as wonderful. There is tons of space, comfortable sitting areas, a huge table so everyone can eat together. They really thought of everything. We love this place, and hope to come back again!

Fantastic Value in OOB

This was a great house and had all the amenities my family needed. We were a party of 12 and it was not at all crowded. The kids loved the bikes, basketball hoop and huge back yard. We loved the proximity to the beach (5 min walk), outdoor shower, huge dining room and back deck table. The house had a lot of extras, a well stocked kitchen, high chairs, bikes, boogie boards, beach wagons to tote your stuff, great location. Quite neighborhood at night, but near lots of stuff like Raging Tide baseball, and it is right up from the pier, amusement/arcade, water parks, etc. Clean and owners are easy to deal with. The owners have thought of everything. This was our 2nd time and we’ll be back.

Great House

Everything we hoped for and more!

All I can say is this house was everything and more. HUGE house with great open floor plan. Comfortable beds and great tables both in and out for our party of 12 so we didn’t have to eat in shifts. Lots of elbow room. Location was the best about 8 min walk to the beach (right at the pier). Large kitchen, great amenities (washer/dryer, wi-fi, great mattresses, etc). Very kid friendly, tons of bikes, boogie boards, huge back yard, long driveway for biking, etc. Super close to everything (walk to the beach and 10 min drive to all attractions like Monkey Trunks, water parks, bowling, movies, Hannafords, mini golf/batting cage). Surprised at how much stuff there is to do in OOB! The owners have thought of everything so don’t over pack. Kitchen well stocked and owners very nice to deal with. Clean and well maintained. Can’t wait to come back.

We are a family of 4 and bought the house when our teenagers were young children so we know what families need and want. The house is well equipped with basketball net, 8 bikes, 4 tricycles, 5 boogie boards, a kid's electric car, scooters, beach chairs and a wagon, toys, books, etc. The back yard is great for badminton or soccer. Wild raspberry bushes in the back are at their peak in July. We love to entertain on the back deck that comfortably seats 12 while the kids bike, roller blade or skateboard up and down the 120 foot driveway and out on the dead end street. We are the last house on the street, so there is never any traffic and very quiet. After dinner, we love to get an ice cream and check out the fireworks or walk around Paradise Park (a nearby camp ground situated around a large man-made pond). It is the ideal way to spend a week.

This is one of the few houses that sleeps 12 people comfortably. There are 5 bedrooms and beds for everyone, no pull out sofa beds or futons. The living room is 30’ long with lots of room to spread out. The dining room and back deck both have a comfortable table that seats 12 easily. A screened in front porch that runs the width of the house is perfect to read and relax. WiFi, washing machine/dryer and fully equipped kitchen make this house super comfortable. It is bright and airy with a great breeze. We love our beach house and keep it well maintained.
