Enjoy a peaceful stay in this brand new home, adjacent to 10,000 acres of pristine National Park forest and hiking trails. Apple Way is a sleepy community at the base of Grandfather Mountain, 10 minutes to Blowing Rock. Just off the Blue Ridge Parkway on Holloway Mountain Rd, we are only 15 minutes to Grandfather Mountain and Appalachian Ski Mountain, and 20 minutes to Boone. We are minutes to the beautiful Price Lake heading north, or the Linn Cove Viaduct heading south.

Our family loves coming here! It was such a cozy and restful spot in the cold weather. We love that it is so close to Blowing Rock, Julian Price Park, and Cone Manor, as well.

Great place to stay!

Very comfortable with beautiful surroundings. We felt secluded while only being a few minutes from 2 state parks and downtown Blowing Rock.

Wonderful stay

This is our second time staying at this property. We enjoyed the quietness of the area. This cabin is perfect for our family of four. Very well equipped and communication with the host is fantastic. Hopefully we will be back again!

Wonderful property!

Wonderful place to stay! Wonderful floor plan, a nice large gathering area, great views, and a nice deck. This place is also very easy to get to, was very clean, and the host was very quick to reply regarding any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay!

We stayed over the Christmas holiday. The property is great! Very cozy and comfortable for our family. One of the best stocked properties we have stayed at. Great location and easy to get to, even with some winter weather. Property is clean and communication with host was fenomenal. We will definitely be back!

25th Anniversary/ Graduation Trip

We stayed at this beautiful cabin to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and our daughter's high school graduation. Our whole family (including our 6 children, ages 7-19) fit comfortably. We loved the view for the giant living room windows, as well as all the amenities provided...towels, washcloths, sheets, bath soaps, dish liquids and laundry. It was so nice not to have to pack all of those items for our large crew. The beds and wrap around couch were comfortable and great for snuggling in after a full day of adventures. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Helpful Host and Amazing House

While not the vacation that was planned the house quickly became a much needed haven. The host was extremely responsive to the needs of the Helene response team that stayed here. This house and the areas around it were in perfect condition providing a place to unwind, recharge and wake up with a beautiful and relaxing view. Very thankful for this place and for a host who was always there to ensure we had what we needed.

Our stay was good. The house was mostly clean. I did have to clean the bathtub before we used it and we didn’t use the keurig because of old water stains and dirtyness in the bottom of the water tank. I do recommend to bring extra towels and washcloths. Also bring a fan if you get hot at night. There is no fans in the house. I would still stay here again

Comfortable and delightful, clean and cool

Very comfortable. All amenities as described. Beautiful porch. Ac was very efficient and appreciated. Owner was very responsive. Very private. Close to Sooo much.

Great Vacation Spot

We loved the location and the property was really nice. Very comfortable and many extras (coffee, blankets, shampoo and other items not expected)Air condition worked great. This helped as we were there on one of the hottest weekends of the year.We were surprised that while the inside was wonderful, the outside needed a good deal of love and care. Grass looked like it had not been cut all year. We did not need the firepit, however, if we did it would have been impossible to get to it and enjoy it. So much overgrown areas that the outside was essentially unusable. Again, was not an issue for us, however, It was an issue if someone wanted to enjoy the property.Overall, great place and great location. We would definitely consider this house again for future visits.On another note, the owner communication was fantastic. He was super helpful and very accessible.

The house is great - location, amenities, space - we couldn’t have asked for more. And the host was awesome. He answered all of our questions and was quick to respond. 5 stars all the way around!
We made s’mores around the fire pit.
