Steps to everything! The Cape Codder at Beachwalk Resort w/ Water Views

Location, location, location!

The owners of the Bostonian, a Beachwalk favorite, now offer The Cape Codder that is centrally located in Beachwalk Resort. A short walk to the Stop 7 Sheridan/Lake Michigan beach boardwalk and a stones throw to the pool, tennis court, basketball count, park and Lake Kai for fishing, fee paid paddle boarding and kayaking.

With over 3300 sq ft of living space and a location on the quietest street in Beachwalk, with pond views, each guest will be able to relax (without being on top of each other) and unwind while creating life long family memories.

Nicely decorated and fully equipped with all you need to enjoy your vacation, beach and pool time.

The main level has two bed rooms with queen beds and two baths. Both front and back outdoor areas, a living area, and a fully stocked kitchen completes the space.

The lower level provides sleeping accommodations for 4. One bed room has a queen size bed and the other has two twins. There is a bath with shower and second living area ( with TV) on this level.

The upper level provides additional living space with sectional, games, and TV that’s perfect for teens. This floor also has a bath and 2 day beds for sleeping.

The Cape Codder comes with games for rainy days and a wagon for towing.

Great location!

We’ve been going to Beachwalk for over 15 years and this property was one of our favorites. Great sleeping accommodations, stocked with all the essentials, and a perfect location, close to the beach but a little off the main road for added quiet and privacy.

Cape Codder Rental

We have rented many homes in Beachwalk over the past twenty years. This was our first time staying in the Cape Codder and we loved it. This was one of our favorite Beachwalk houses. The house had everything you needed and more, and was in a great location. This house truly sleeps 10 very comfortably, perfect for a group of adults! The owner went out of her way to make our stay so enjoyable -- thank you!

Terrific Beach Weekend with Friends

We came with a group of 10 and it was exactly what we were looking for! Plenty of space, great location (easy 6-8 minute walk to the beach). One friend had a baby and the upstairs loft/“suite” was perfect for them. We hope to come back soon!

Perfect in everyway!

This owner cares about her property & her guests! So many thoughtful amenities & refreshing not to have to worry about basics like paper towels, spices, bath products etc. This home has the perfect layout which provides plenty of bathroom but multiple levels for privacy. We had great home cooked meals & lots of time in the back porch & fire pit. Location close to both pool & beach makes taking advantage of all amenities of Beacheakk!

Beautiful Property with lots of charm!

We have stayed along Lake Michigan for a few years now. This has been our favorite property to date! The house is amazing with lots of open space and plenty of room for large families. The large porches and multiple gathering areas allow for you to spread out, or gather in the large kitchen/dining area for a family meal. We spent out nights relaxing on the screened in porch. Beachwalk has lots to offer as well! You are well within walking distance to the pool and recreation area and minutes from Lake Michigan. The owner was extremely prompt with notifications and if we had any questions. I would not hesitate to rent here again. Thank you for offering this wonderful stay!

This home was wonderful. Host: Rachel was incredible even before we fully booked the house. Very responsive and was accommodating as we had questions, then some extenuating circumstances popped up prior and during our stay. Couldn’t have asked for a better host!House: We have stayed at many houses at Beachwalk. This one was different as it was off in a corner and was much quieter than the others. It backed up to the fountain which provided great scenery and “white noise” as we sat on the screened in porch. Rachel really does treat this as her own home as it felt “homey” and had all the “little things”. The second floor is insane for a group of older kids/teenagers. It was if they had their own apartment! Kitchen was stocked well with all different pots/pans and utensils in almost new condition. We brought some of our own but never had to unpack them. TV had some cable channels but also easy to stream or connect via HDMI. Plenty of beach towels and other accessories for the beach. House is very well located between the beach and the hut/clubhouse/pool and Lake Kai activities.All other items are accurate on the description. We had a great stay and would love to go back again!

The kitchen was well appointed. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor screened porch was lovely for relaxing. Two refrigerators are key for a beach house! The proximity to the beach and the pool was very convenient. Communication with owner were prompt and helpful.

Charming Cottage

Six girlfriends & I spent the weekend at the lovely Cape Codder. We've stayed in may VRBO rentals and this home was better appointed than most. It had absolutely everything we needed. If it was warm enough to spend a lot of time on the beach, we would really have appreciated the chairs, umbrellas, beach towels & cooler as well as 2 wagons provided to transport the gear to the beach, which is an easy 2 block stroll through the charming Beachwalk community. We're already talking about returning in the spring. Thank you Raychel!

Fun family place.

Lovely home. Best suited for 3 couples + 4+ children depending upon age. While smaller than some properties within this vacation home community, it’s privacy and peacefulness was exceptional. I particularly appreciated the small but well appointed rear screened in porch overlooking the pond. The Beachwalk development is especially ideal for families with children - where people, bikes and golf carts take precedence over cars on its shady streets, and the beach is an easy walk away. A larger community pool would be preferable. A ceiling fan in the living room area would be nice and a working exhaust fan over the range is needed.

Beautiful Home

Raychel’s home is beautifully appointed in a quiet location within the Beachwalk Resort Community just a short walk from the beach access. There was plenty of room for 10 adults and 10 mos old twins. We cooked in and had just about everything we needed for this foody group. Someone did bring their own zester😉 We all agreed we would rent the home again!

The place was so cute. There are so many fun and unique rooms and slept quite a bit of people. Rachel was so accommodating and made sure we had enough parking passes and pool passes. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a great stay in a nice place!

Great Property and Vacation

Couldn’t have been any better. Best spot on beachwalk. Period.

Super clean. So much space. Tucked away on shaded block, but super close to beach. Right on little pond and putting green. Perfect for family, couples’ getaway or really any group.

Great vacation home!

Our family of 10 stayed at the Cape Codder and it was a great house. We all fit comfortably and the house had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked, a lovely screened porch for sitting, a nice grill, plug ins for charging our electronics, and overall comfortable and beautifully furnished home. The owner was quick to respond to any questions and very friendly. We were very happy!

I'm originally from Cape Cod and moved to Boston the day I turned 18! Hence the names of my Beachwalk properties, The Cape Codder and The Bostonian. As mom, living downtown Chicago, I wanted to expose my daughter to a slower, simpler pace of life and Beachwalk has proven to be the perfect location. The beach is perfect and we love spending time in the off season as a family.

I fell in love with the different colored homes and options for fun. I work a lot and love both homes equally since they provide a sense of peace and nature.
