Kentish Town

Logement très bien situé. Dommage, la station de métro était fermée pour travaux et je n'ai pas été prévenue. L'accès au logement est contre-indiqué pour les personnes âgées. De même, la douche est très étroite. L'appartement est clair et propre.

Train stop is closed so not convenient to the Tube. Very noisy on the street. Entrance is in the alley so I felt unsafe at night going back to alley, then a fairly dark courtyard. Would be much better if you could enter from the street.

Too much expensive compared to the flat's conditions

The location is very nice, but the flat isn't up to par: there's a boiler in the main room/bedroom, which is not very safe; the bathroom was invaded by ants; the shower's doors were leaning against the wall in the main room/bedroom because they hadn't been put up yet and we had to ask the flat's manager to move them somewhere else; only one window in the bedroom had blackout curtains, while the other one hadn't; the windows hadn't double glazing, which makes the flat extremely noisy since it overlooks a busy road; when we arrived we had to wait 30 more minutes in the hot weather for the second bed to be made up, because the flat's manager didn't read that the reservation was for a couple with two kids; before our arrival, the person who runs the vrbo's account told me to contact the flat's manager in order to set up an earlier and "flexible" check-in time, without mentioning any extra costs for that, but the flat's manager wrote me that we had to pay 10 extra pounds per hour if we wanted an earlier check-in (which is rather incredible considering the flat's cost for just two nights). In short, too much expensive compared to the flat's conditions and its inattentive management.

Short London Stay

The property was well located for access to transportation and good food. It is facing the street so you will get street noise but the nighttime was fairly quiet. The shower was an issue and we are tall Americans so the beds were a little short for us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Studio in Kentish Town

Decent studio in Kentish Town across from the tube station. One may be surprised and, honestly, disappointed by the entry to the flat which is via a back alley. Friendly welcome by Giovanni, but be prepared to be asked for a copy of your photo ID. The flat was reasonably clean. There is no kitchen but there is a small fridge and some dishes and cutlery available in the flat. Having said this, there were no cleaning supplies and no toiletry supplies either. There was only a single set of keys provided which was inconvenient as there were three people in our party, with different schedules which we then had to coordinate. In all fairness, the owner did make an attempt to provide a second set in exchange for a 35 GBP deposit fee but we were unable to connect due to scheduling conflicts.

The space was okay but it was too small for 4 people. It also the entrance is behind a back alley with a gate and 2 doors. Not optimal for big luggage and walking impaired people

Close to train station

What you see in pictures is exactly what you get. Was very close to train station which was very convenient. Beware, shower is scolding hot not matter where you adjust knob to. Not sure if room above is a rental or if someone lives there, but could hear every step they took and could hear the floors creaking from above as well. Was fairly annoying.

John was very nice and welcoming. He kept our luggage at the flat before our check in time. The flat was clean and perfect for my family and I. The location was also nice. Metro station is across the street and so is the bus that can take you near London eye. I would recommend this place.

Was as expected as all photo are best view with overlap when viewing web. Mexican restaurant across street was great. And this from person who eats TexMex. Tube station very convenient. Fit my needs for value

Cozy but acceptable

The location of this place could not be more convenient, right by the train. John was very helpful and friendly and the communal terrace is very nice. Not that it was an issue for us, but if you're planning on spending much time in the flat I might find something more complete. This is a subdivided apartment that is more or less one room with a minimal converted bathroom. My friend, who is a larger build had to get used to the tiny shower. All and all however everything was as advertised and we had a great time on our trip

Neat apartment in Kentish Town

We stayed in this apartment in December 2018, while visited London for vacation. The place situated in great location. There are tube and railway station plus bus stops in vicinity, many shops, restaurants, pubs etc. in close walking distance. Apartment was clean, warm, welcoming. Heater worked properly so both room temperature and hot water in shower were comforting. Though some improvement might be appropriate: TV set, some silverware, may be a countertop with the sink in room might produce a big difference. Check in was right and thorough, but 6-pack of bottled water from supermarket might compliment this process greatly. Thanks, John, for your great stories!

Great location!

I thought the description said tv & hair dryer but we didn’t find any...luckily someone in our party brought a blow dryer. Location was great, right across from tube and just 10-15 minutes from everything. Four of us found it just what we needed for 3 nights. Small fridge, electric kettle, ironing board & iron.

Extrêmement bien placé et agréable.

Le studio de Diana est nouvellement restauré. Nous y avons été accueillis très gentiment par John, qui était prêt à répondre à nos questions et répond immédiatement au téléphone. Le studio de trouve en face d'une station de métro, et nous avons pu nous garer gratuitement juste au pied du petit immeuble: l'idéal! Nous avons pu profiter également de la terrasse, agréable, et qui n'est pas côté rue. Le quartier de Camden jouxte Kentish Town. A pied ou en métro, facile d'aller prendre un verre dans un pub typique. Nous y avons séjourné avec nos deux enfants, adolescents, sans nous marcher dessus. Pas de coin cuisine, mais bouilloire électrique, un peu de vaisselle et petit réfrigérateur ont tout à fait fait l'affaire pour trois jours. Bref, un appartement que nous conseillons vivement, et où nous souhaitons retourner. Merci à Diana et John pour leur disponibilité.

Very close to the tube and good restaurants

The property is located very close to the tube which huge because everything is accessible by the tube taxi or Uber. It's very Cosy and comfortable for two. The heat made it almost unbearable but a fan was provided and it made sleeping possible. By the way it's generally rainy and cool but there was a record heat wave so it made the stay a little uncomfortable but all in all a good place to stsy
