A great place for a family who is interested in the workings of a farm. Caroline and David were very nice and willing to take the kids and my family around the farm to see the pigs and demonstrate sheep herding with the dogs. It's a big farm, so be prepared for some walking if you're going to check it out. The loft was plenty of space and plenty of beds - very spacious upstairs and down. The downstairs couch is a pull-out sofa which is super convenient. We really only planned to eat breakfast there so we didn't cook much and can't speak to what's available. The nearest grocery store is 10 minutes away. It's definitely rustic accommodations but perfect for an active family and you couldn't have nicer hosts. If you're planning to stay here as a base for Knoebels, know that it's 22 minutes away. When we checked in, the upstairs was VERY warm and we turned the AC down hoping it would fix it before we went out for the afternoon. After we returned, David attempted to fix it but wasn't able so he went out the next day and got a new unit. It would have been good to know that was an issue before we checked in at 3, but they took care of it as soon as they could after we reported it - it was a warm first night, but the next night was fine.
