Villa Tamara invites you to spend an unforgettable holiday in Zavala, the nicest inlet on the island of Hvar, Dalmatia’s sunniest Island. Villa Tamara offers you 4 luxurious 2 bedroom apartments with a private bath & balcony, and the spectacular VIP apartment located on the top floor. The apartments are painted in a variety of natural island colors (lavender, rosemary, warm yellow and soft orange, creating an atmosphere of harmony and relaxation.
Apartment 2 (4+2) – These distinctive two-bedroom, one bath apartments offer guests views of the sea through a fragrant green pine grove. The apartments are painted in variety of natural island colors ( lavender, rosemary, warm yellow and soft orange ), creating an atmosphere of harmony and relaxation. Two of the apartments are located on the first floor and two are situated on the second floor. All the apartments have an open kitchen/living room/dining area with large double doors opening out onto the apartment’s private balcony with expansive views of the sea. All the apartments have air-conditioning, Internet access and LCD satelite TV. The apartments are ideally located for easy access to the loveliest swimming beaches in Zavala.
VIP apartment (100m2 floor space), Apartment 1, Apartment 2, Apartment 3 and Apartment 4 (50m2 floor space).

About Your Host

My name is Jadran Lazić, and I am a professional photographer with a long international career. I was born in Split and began my work as a photojournalist in Europe, later moving to Paris and then Los Angeles, where I spent many years photographing world events, artists, and film icons for major international magazines.

Today, I divide my time between Los Angeles and Zavala on the island of Hvar, a place I consider home in the deepest sense. Alongside photography, I care for olive trees, lavender, and figs, and I enjoy the quiet rhythm of island life — the same rhythm I want my guests to experience here.

All of the apartments in the house are decorated with my own photographs, each one telling a small story from different parts of the world. The space is meant to feel personal, calm, and lived-in — a home rather than just a place to stay.

I’m always happy to share local tips, hidden beaches, good wine, and the slower, authentic side of Hvar that many visitors never get to see.
