Stayed at the property for the weekend to go diamond digging. Simple property that met all our needs. Close to both the little town and the park, and even had tools for diamond digging itself. Host accommodated an earlier check in, which was greatly appreciated. Overall, the stay was great.

The house was great no issues.We enjoyed our stay at this location.If I had any complaint it would be the driveway.It’s muddy and messy and hard to pack and unpack without stepping in mud holes.The one thing that we needed more of that wasn’t available was the paper towels.Great job with keeping other items available in this home.There were plenty of towels for bathing and toilet paper.A starter kit with shampoos and soaps would be great.One more recommendation is….If guest want to extend their stay and the house isn’t booked there should be options to rent extra days/nights, that would’ve been great for our family.Overall it was a great stay for decent price.

07-04-2024 to 07-07-2025 yearly family meet up.

Communication with owner was great! Super helpful and super easy to check in and out. Very well stocked with amenities really only needed to bring food, clothes and personal hygiene items. Only downside was the odor outside, smelled of something dead. I can’t hold that against Diamond Vacation Rentals. I would definitely stay there in the future.

Cozy Country Stay

Stayed here for two nights to visit the diamond mine. Host provided 2 shovels, 3 buckets, 1 trowell and a small crate of sifters (you'll need to carry it or have your own wagon/cart). Refrigerator had ice trays that you can fill. House is stocked with dishes and pans as well as dry coffee. Bathroom had towels. Master Bedroom and living room have smart TVs, Family bedroom has a CRT with DVD player.House is old (at least 40 years, probably older) and a little musty, but had a cozy country feel. The kids caught fireflies out in the front yard (I haven't seen fireflies in years). It also has an old storm cellar in the back yard (never seen one before). Beds were also old pretty creeky, but clean.Enjoyed our stay. Would choose it again if back in the area.

Just right! Clean, quiet, comfortable, and reasonably priced. Kimberlite is an excellent place to stay. The house has everything you need for a great visit. The location is perfect! Only a mile from the Diamond crater

Enjoyed the house with a backyard for the kids to play in. It has Direct TV in the living room and DVD player in the kids room. Nice kitchen with coffee maker.

Perfect stay

My sisters and I spent a wonderful, relaxing few days at the Kimberlite house. It was roomy, clean, and comfortable. The town was quaint, cute, interesting and people were friendly. We enjoyed it tremendously. The stay was perfect.

It was a nice stay

It was a nice stay. The neighborhood was peaceful. I will say the house had a smell to it. The kids room had an older tv and not many choices of DVDs for them to watch. Our room did not have a tv so that was kinda a bummer for us. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. It was very close to crater of diamonds.

Great Stay near the diamond mines

This place was great. We slept well, enjoyed use of a big kitchen, saved on renting mining equipment, and were a close and convenient distance to the diamond mines.

Great Stay!

Came down to visit the Crater of Diamonds state park and this rental is perfect location- close to park and town. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return another time!

Ladies Diamond Digging

We enjoyed our stay. It was very comfortable and we enjoyed the front porch. Your guidelines were easy to follow. There were ants in the kitchen, and no liquid soap in the bathroom. Our only complaint. We left our buckets for future Crater digging folks. Thanks again. We will be happy to recommend you!

House is very nice 2 bedroom, 1 bath, and fully furnished. Kitchen has all you need. Carport and fire pit outside in the backyard. It is one mile from Crater of Diamonds.

A little diamond

Nice home, everything needed was there. Had no hot water when we arrived Sunday evening. Owner got the gas company right out (Sunday evening about 7:30). Got gas turned on, no problem! Very close to the diamond mine, great restaurants within a short distance.
